About: I've been petsitting since I was 13 years old, giving me over 20 years experience. Most of my experience comes from dogs & cats, but I'm happy to learn how to care for other pets, too. I'm currently working part-time, but I'm also a full-time mom to a seven year old, so part-time & weekend jobs work best for me right now. I care for our two senior dogs with the utmost care & respect as they are beloved members of our family. However, one of them does not always get along well with other dogs, so I will not be offering care in my home.

About: There has always been a pet in the home since childhood, I’ve watched and taken care of 5 personally owned dogs from puppyhood to adulthood! I have babysat my aunts cat Tammy for a few months now, and I have taken care of my own dog Maestro when my parents are on vacation, or need an extra pick-me-up. I also have been volunteering at Humane Society of Harrisburg for about a few months now! I have always had a huge heart towards animals of all personalities and sizes. I’ve worked with nervous big dogs, to crazy little puppies! I would be more than willing to meet your amazing animal someday! 😊💕 I have access to a car, so I am easily able to provide as much time and energy as your animal needs. I also do not have a typical job, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I will be super respectful of your space and keep notes about certain things your animal needs, and provide spectacular feedback on how your animal is feeling, how the day went, overall what happened during my service! I am a wonderful listener and I learn extremely quickly.

About: I LOVE dogs and cats! Growing up, my family always had big dogs and fluffy cats around the house; so throughout my life I have gained experience caring for puppies all the way up to seniors. I adore dogs of all sizes, but big dogs will always have a special place in my heart. We owned a Rottie/Lab mix, a Great Dane, an English Mastiff, Boxer, and various Doodle breeds. We also had 3 Ragdoll cats. I currently have 3 Domestic Short and Long haired cats of my own with my fiancé and I love them dearly; but I really miss having a dog around the house. Helping people care for pets on Wag seemed like the perfect way to help me hang with pups! I frequently assist my friends and family with pet sitting, dog walking, and caring for their animals while they are away. Outside of animals, I work for The Department of State as a Legal Assistant and sit for 8 hours a day at a desk. Taking a dog on a nice walk or having a play session with pets sounds like a very pleasant way for me spend my time after sitting in an office all day. I also love to read, cook/bake, do yoga, play video games, and play softball on my women’s community team! I’m currently working a full time office job from 7:30am to 4:00pm, so I can be available on weekdays any time after 4:30pm or early in the morning . I can be available anytime on weekends with enough notice to plan. As much as I would love to help people board their pets, I can’t given the size of my apartment. My home is just for me and my cats :)
About: I really like to meet animals where they are. If they are high energy and love to play then that is what we will be doing. If they are a lounge on the couch kind of dog then I will lay with them. I currently have one dog and I have been able to teach him many tricks like roll and high five! I also have 3 cats who keep me busy but in a good way! I have dog sat before many times but I am excited to meet new animals on Rover. I work full time on the weekdays from 7:45-4. I would also be able to be at your home for a few minutes during my lunch break depending on the location. I have full availability Friday night - Sunday night I always make sure that I am following their routine and doing things the way that you would do them! I will ask any questions if I have them to make sure I am doing everything right. Taylor was a last minute lifesaver because I accidentally booked the wrong dates with our regular in home dog sitter. Outside of this, Taylor did an awesome job with our three rambunctious dogs, sent updates with pictures and even vacuumed before she left. We can’t wait to rebook with Taylor!
Lila was great! She stayed at our house with our 3 dogs for about a week while we were away. The dogs were well taken care of. We have an elderly dog with mobility issues and Lila was able to help her get up. She left the house very tidy and even offered to do drop in visits after our flight was unexpectedly cancelled. Will use again!
How is this instead? This was our first time using the Rover app and we were so grateful to find Karen!! She was extremely responsive during for our week away from our dogs. Returning home our flight was delayed 3 times for being back and she was very supportive and understanding in taking care of the dogs. Our kiddos were very well taken care of and hit it off with Karen right away. Karen is very knowledgeable and trustworthy in taking care of the dogs in our home. We highly recommend Karen and she will be our go to next time we need any kind of dog services!!!
Elizabeth was extremely reliable and concerned for our dog’s welfare. She followed her medication regimen as closely as Wrigley made possible, and sought clarification when necessary. She was friendly and pleasant to work with. We would definitely recommend her and book her again.
Christie took good care of our two pups while we were out of town celebrating Thanksgiving with our family. One of our dogs is suffering from a medical condition and Christie administered scheduled medication and physically assisted our little guy up and down the stairs.
