About: I’ve had dogs in my household since I was 5, meaning I’m skilled in taking care of dogs and am ready for anything they might need. I’ve dogs at for multiple neighbors of the years, and many of those dogs have been old dogs with specific instructions to keep them healthy. I’ve done multiple weeks of overnight care for dogs as well as simple daycare or dog walks for people that need help. I’m currently studying to become a vet and I would love to have the chance to get to know your furry companion! I am open to help out any day of the week as needed. I have a part-time job with schedule hours that change each week, but none of those hours include nighttime’s. I am willing to take your pet even last minute if I am capable. In my home, I make sure to let the dog out first thing in the morning and right before bed to allow them to use the bathroom as needed. In my household I take my dog for a walk around 9 every morning and 5 every night, then feeding him at 6pm. Other food given to him includes a treat in the morning and a couple in the afternoon that I put in his bowl. In between those times, I will spend time with my dog either sitting on the couch together watching tv or playing games.
About: I've been taking care of dogs/cats for about 5-6 years now. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, and care for their pets while they're away. Whether your dog/cat loved long walks, playtime, or just some extra attention, I'll treat them like they're my own! I have a flexible schedule, so I'm available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits throughout the week! I'm more than happy to work around your pet's routine, whether that means long walks, feeding, playtime, or just keeping them company while you're away. When caring for pets, I always make their safety and comfort my top priority. I follow each owners instructions closely, stick to their usually routine, and make sure they have plenty of fresh water, exercise, and attention.

“Theresa was great at adapting to circumstances beyond our control. There was so much ice and snow outside that playing outside was not an option. She spent time playing inside with our high energy dog.”

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was young. Growing up with new foster puppies every week, I learned how to house-train young puppies and keep them out of trouble. I love spending time with pets and have really enjoyed pet sitting for friends and family! I just graduated from NC State University this May and am taking this summer off from work before beginning my PhD program this fall. This means I will have a of availability to spend time with your pets and provide them with the attention they deserve. I will be available for home visits at your desired frequency and duration so that your pets get the attention and play time they need.

About: Hi my name is Rachel i’m 21 years old looking for pet owners who need pet assistance. I’m currently studying business at del tech community college and i’m a third year. I have babysat dogs and cats before and overnight sat as well. I enjoy being around animals they make me happy. I also own a doggie named Teddy of my own he’s 6 years old and he’s a shitzu. Caring for a pet requires consistency, time management, and attention to their physical and emotional needs. Depending on the type of pet, daily tasks may include feeding, providing fresh water, exercising, grooming, cleaning living spaces, and monitoring health and behavior. I walk my dog Teddy, a shitzu everyday twice and he doesn’t have an open yard. Caring for pets at a clients home depend on the space and environment.

I work remotely Monday through Friday, which allows me to offer morning, evening, and weekend visits, along with limited midday availability when my schedule permits. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special instructions so I can provide care that’s tailored to their needs. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, litter box or yard clean-up, or simply spending quality time together, I’ll treat your pet with the same care and attention I give my own.

I work remotely, so my schedule is flexible and I can cater to your pet's specific needs. My Fur Family: I grew up with a small, fluffy dog named Gracie, and she taught me the joys of training, from potty training to crate training, and teaching her all the fun tricks she knows! About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have been the proud owner of my own dog for the past 1.5 years. Caring for my own dog has given me hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding, playtime, training, grooming, and recognizing their individual needs. Growing up with dogs has also taught me how to interact with different breeds, personalities, and energy levels. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and strive to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I plan my schedule to make sure every pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they need. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, medication, or just providing companionship, I’m committed to following each pet’s routine and making them feel safe and comfortable. I also make time to send regular updates and photos so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always follow the owner’s instructions to keep their routine as consistent as possible. In a client’s home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, receive any medications if needed, and have lots of attention and affection. I also keep the home clean and secure and provide regular updates with photos so owners have peace of mind while they’re away. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment with plenty of supervision, exercise, enrichment, and affection. I make sure each pet has access to fresh water, follows their normal feeding schedule, and gets individualized care based on their personality and needs.
“Arrived promptly on schedule and spent quality time with our two dogs. Sent pictures each time. Will certainly use Lisa’s service again and would recommend her for those looking for a compassionate animal caregiver.”

About: I've grown up with large dogs, cats, and chickens my entire life. I started dog sitting in high school for friends and family, which inspired me to pursue veterinary science. While applying to vet schools, I always love to take care of your critters and remind myself who I'm doing it for! I'm currently applying to veterinary school and freelance shadowing at different clinics in the area, so I'll have lots of time to entertain your pets! Because of this, my availability varies week-to-week, so please check my calendar. In addition to my fair share of scratches and bites growing up, working in wild animal rehabilitation has made me confident with strong, harder-to-handle animals, and I'm confident I can keep your dogs and cats entertained when they get a little hyper, and I can calm them down when it's time for a nap!
About: I have taken care of neighbors’ and grandparents’ dogs as well as my own. I love dogs more than most people and would do anything to protect them and keep them happy. As a college student away from my fur babies at home, this fits perfectly into my schedule. I have a lot of time on my hands until I start grad school this summer! I will just be taking the fur babies for walks as I am in an apartment that unfortunately does not allow pups. I will use safe paths or neighborhoods as well as any parks or fields that allow us!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Hockessin
Jerry was a fantastic dog sitter! He was reliable and kept me updated with every visit, sending pictures and videos so I could see how my dogs were doing. It gave me such peace of mind while I was away knowing they were being well cared for. I really appreciated his communication and would definitely recommend Jerry to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter. We will absolutely use him again!

We had a wonderful experience. Kaitlyn watched our Newfoundland puppy, Teddy, for an hour while I was at work and took great care of him. She was reliable, communicative, and made sure he was comfortable and well cared for. I will definitely book again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.

Renee was great. She was one of the only ones who were able to come last minute. We have never left our dog alone before for more than a day and we were gone for 5 days. We’re so thankful and relieved to know we have someone to take care of our good boy if needed!
