About: My first memory was reaching out to pet the family dog and by the age of 8 I was the main care taker and trainer of our family pets (Sheltie, Poodle, Akita, Bearded Dragon). By 14 began pet sitting ranging from puppies at 8 months to senior dogs at 17 years old. I have cared for many of my neighbors pets that includes cats, hedgehogs, and hamsters. As I got older, I became braver and currently have two snakes. I am home full time and typically start my day with a morning walk which is always more appreciated with a four legged friend or two. In my care I offer daily updates and photos. For check-ins I typically stay for an hour to ensure the pets are well taken care of as well as provide extra walks or play time for the more energetic.
“Shannon is the absolute GREATEST! She’s professional, communicative and took amazing care of our animals. She’s not our first Rover but I'm hoping she’ll be our last! I am so relieved we found her and will always be our go to for when we need our pets looked after. 11/10. Thank you Shannon!”

“Rachel came to stay with our pups for a week while we were away on vacation, and did an amazing job! We got lots of pictures and videos, and updates on how they were doing. I felt so comfortable knowing she was there with them, and was able to enjoy my vacation to the fullest. We will definitely book with her again in the future, and absolutely recommend her for all your pet-sitting needs!! Thank you, Rachel!”

“Dylan was excellent. Our pup got an injury while we were away. He handled things gracefully, remained calm and got the pup to the vet for care. I would recommend and use his services again.”

About: I have trained two vivacious pups from 8 weeks old as well as walked a blind senior pug with diabetes. I love to be outside, keep a clean home, and keep a very close eye on any dog I'm with. I may be a bit of a paranoid dog mom to some but pet safety and happiness are very important to me. I'm currently working part time after moving to Delaware from South Carolina to be closer to my partner's family and new job. I am available to walk during the workdays M-F right now. I can board or house sit any evening. I have a fenced in yard. My landlord lives upstairs with three friendly Pomeranians but I have a separate entrance if your pup is not feeling friendly. I have tile and hardwood floors, no carpet.
“June stayed in our home. Ike was well cared for, happy and relaxed when we got home. Communication was clear, and everything went smoothly. We’d definitely hire her again.”

“Teresa was a godsend,I have always had a family member or friend watch my menagerie in the past but recently that wasn't an option. Teresa cared for 2 dogs and 4 cats each with their own quirky personalities and needs, not only did she excel at caregiving she took care of many outside plants, took in the mail and put the trash out.It was amazing getting pictures of my smiling, yes smiling ,fur babies and updates easing my stress about leaving them. I look forward to having her come again in the future if she'll have us!!!”

If you have any questions or would like a copy of my resume, please feel free to contact me. I'm looking forward to caring for your pets! I currently just do gig work like Rover so I have a very flexible schedule for pet care! I am able to spend a lot of time with your pet to ensure they are comfortable and looked after! I ensure routines feel as normal as possible for pets in their home. I find that really helps them get used to me and avoid anxiety while their owners are away!
“Rebecca was great! She came for a meet and greet and was very friendly. We felt safe leaving our pets and our home in her care- she was also very responsive to messages and sent updates. Will definitely book again!”
“Heather was absolutely fantastic! She was extremely communicative from start to finish and has such a warm, positive personality. Our Boston Terrier, Lukin, is usually very anxious, but he did great with her — which says a lot! She took wonderful care of both him and our house while we were away. We really appreciated her updates and photos which kept us at ease. I can’t recommend Heather enough — she’s truly awesome and we will definitely be booking her again!”

“Shanisa is super knowledgeable about caring for dogs. She was great with our 3 challenging dogs! Shanisa stayed at our house for 4 days to take care of our dogs while on a camping trip. We have a German Shepherd, Chihawheenie, and a pit boxer mix all with their own personalities and challenges. She gave great updates and had great communication throughout our stay. She played, walked, and cared for them even dealt with medications as much as she could (lol Did I mention our dogs are challenging? :) Shanisa was even able to get our rescued dog on a leash for walks (she is the only other person that can do that other than me. Not even family she’d let close enough). We absolutely recommend booking her to take care of your pets!”

“Meg stayed with our dogs while we went away! She was so communicative and made us feel so great on our trip knowing our girls were safe and being taken care of!! Highly recommend”

About: I have lived with cats my entire life, all 33 years. As well as had a dog of my own for 7 years from the time he was 3 months old. Over a decade of experience taking care of and loving dogs of my friends, loved ones and acquaintances - Every dog deserves love and care. Currently, I am in and out of part time steel construction. I have about 90% 24-7 availability, minus school 2 nights a week, and a standing audio production job 1 night a week (usually every wednesday night). I live in a 2 cat 1 dog household, and they are completely integrated. The entire house is open to all 3 animals. Cats are indoor only, my dog has a 3/4 acre fenced in yard to play in.
About: I have experience helping to care for my family dog of 5 years who had behavioral issues and loved him all the same. I also have experience with all types of dogs that are scared or aggressive, elderly and dogs with disabilities and am calm in most situations. Right now I live with my cousin with no pets and miss the energy and love they add to your life so figured this could be a step towards adding more animals into my life. Ive done rover for a couple of years now and love it and I've been vegan for over 4 years and love and respect animals. I currently work roughly 35hrs a week at a cafe located in Newark. Work 8hr shifts and am fine with multiple walks a day if needed. I’m very attentive and affectionate with animals. Love to spend time playing with them and giving them cuddles. I’m also active and regularly go to gym so love to go outside and run around with them.
“Matthew took good care of our very large, reactive dog while we were away. He sent us photos daily and was good at communicating if he had any questions. We will definitely be asking Matthew to watch our pup next time we go away.”

We were so lucky to find Mikayla at the last minute for an overnight stay at our home. She’s very responsive and agreed to meeting with us and our anxious/high maintenance dog before booking. Upon meeting her, we felt very comfortable -she has a very kind and warm demeanor and took our laundry list of instructions in stride. While we were gone she was very communicative and sent pics of our pup. She was also very flexible as we unexpectedly had to cut our trip short by 2 days. We will definitely be booking her again for future trips-we are so happy to have found her!
Taylor was a fabulous sitter for our dog Frank! She was super flexible and willing to come meet him beforehand so that he could get familiar. He warmed right up to her immediately! She stayed overnight two nights with Frank and sent us updates and pictures throughout the weekend! We look forward to having her watch Frank again in the future!

Mackenzie took great care of our dog Frank! She was willing to come to our home to meet Frank ahead of time, since he can sometimes take some time to warm up to new people. She stayed overnight with Frank and provided us with updates when she arrived and left! She gave us helpful feedback for how Frank behaved, and we would love to rebook with her in the future.

Heidi was wonderful with JoJo last Friday, as she always has been. She is caring, attentive to his needs, detail oriented and keeps us posted on how he is doing. JoJo responds enthusiastically to her attention and care. We enjoyed an evening away from home with no concerns knowing JoJo was well cared for.

My dog was recently diagnosed with diabetes and I was concerned with leaving her with anyone. But I had to leave for 2 nights and I was so happy that Layla was willing to still watch Cinna and made it work to make sure Cinna received her medicine when she needed it. She gave me frequent updates and sent me pictures. She is so helpful and always goes above and beyond to help with anything we need for Cinna. I can’t recommend her more!

Savannah was amazing! My cats are very skittish and shy, with my older cat usually hiding under the bed for strangers, but Savannah had them out and eating on day 1! Very attentive and gave great updates along with pictures. Didn't have to worry about my cats at all because I knew they were left in great hands! Will definitely use Savannah again!

Ingrid was great! I was in a tough spot because my dog takes a bit to warm up to strangers and I needed to be away for the wkend for my sister’s wedding. All of my family would also be gone for the wkend so I had no one to watch the dog. It normally takes Charlee about three meets to become your best friend, but she hasn’t been feeling good with a leg injury and it took longer than normal. Ingrid came to my house every day for a week to try to win Charlee over. Luckily, the day before I was to leave, it worked! I was able to enjoy the wedding wkend worry free. I should also mention that my dog is also special needs with a couple autoimmune diseases and is using a harness bc of recent hind legs surgery/injury. None of that scared Ingrid away. She had the patience to keep working with Charlee each day, even when Charlee didn’t want to. I can’t thank her enough. There were no issues with her staying at the house and I would definitely use her again.

We have had Nancy stay at our house on a few occasions. She was willing to jump in to sit for us with less than 24 hours notice. She is always such a great guest and provides great care for our 2 pups. Nancy communicated with me every day and sent photos of our furry friends regularly. I definitely recommend Nancy for any of your dog sitting needs.

Grace went above and beyond! When our flight was over 3 hours delayed, she went back to our house to take Cinna out again. She was so kind and helpful. She kept us updated on what she was doing and sent frequent photos! I really felt confident that Cinna was in good hands when I was away.
