About: I have been involved with pet rescue for coming up on 10 years and have been an avid pet parent to all types of animals for my entire life. My family and I were responsible for the rehabilitation of pets with high needs. This involved pets with both behavioral concerns and medically fragile pets through my fostering experience. I work with them to ensure they can put their best paw forward into their forever home. I have also attended several pet training class for fosters and my own family pets and am generally good with pets of all temperaments. I work full time, but am committed to taking care of all of our pets! Primarily I would be looking for night and weekend work to make sure I have adequate time to spend with your fur babies. I have 3 cats that live in my home and mostly roam freely (except for mealtimes) I also have a large dog kennel in my home for boarding needs. I have a small fenced in yard and also live in an easily walkable area with lots of doggie neighbors.

About: I've grown up with large dogs, cats, and chickens my entire life. I started dog sitting in high school for friends and family, which inspired me to pursue veterinary science. “Shanisa is super knowledgeable about caring for dogs. She was great with our 3 challenging dogs! Shanisa stayed at our house for 4 days to take care of our dogs while on a camping trip. We have a German Shepherd, Chihawheenie, and a pit boxer mix all with their own personalities and challenges. She gave great updates and had great communication throughout our stay. She played, walked, and cared for them even dealt with medications as much as she could (lol Did I mention our dogs are challenging? :) Shanisa was even able to get our rescued dog on a leash for walks (she is the only other person that can do that other than me. We were so lucky to find Mikayla at the last minute for an overnight stay at our home. She’s very responsive and agreed to meeting with us and our anxious/high maintenance dog before booking. While we were gone she was very communicative and sent pics of our pup. She was also very flexible as we unexpectedly had to cut our trip short by 2 days. Mackenzie took great care of our dog Frank! She was willing to come to our home to meet Frank ahead of time, since he can sometimes take some time to warm up to new people. She stayed overnight with Frank and provided us with updates when she arrived and left! She gave us helpful feedback for how Frank behaved, and we would love to rebook with her in the future.
Heidi was wonderful with JoJo last Friday, as she always has been. She is caring, attentive to his needs, detail oriented and keeps us posted on how he is doing. My dog was recently diagnosed with diabetes and I was concerned with leaving her with anyone. But I had to leave for 2 nights and I was so happy that Layla was willing to still watch Cinna and made it work to make sure Cinna received her medicine when she needed it.
