Responsible fun and loves animals
I have experience helping to care for my family dog of 5 years who had behavioral issues and loved him all the same. I also have experience with all types of dogs that are scared or aggressive, elderly and dogs with disabilities and am calm in most situations. Right now I live with my cousin with no pets and miss the energy and love they add to your life so figured this could be a step towards adding more animals into my life. Ive done rover for a couple of years now and love it and I've been vegan for over 4 years and love and respect animals.

We were so lucky to find Mikayla at the last minute for an overnight stay at our home. She’s very responsive and agreed to meeting with us and our anxious/high maintenance dog before booking. Upon meeting her, we felt very comfortable -she has a very kind and warm demeanor and took our laundry list of instructions in stride. While we were gone she was very communicative and sent pics of our pup. She was also very flexible as we unexpectedly had to cut our trip short by 2 days. We will definitely be booking her again for future trips-we are so happy to have found her!
Mikayla is very friendly and flexible. She updates us on the details about our cat. We really appreciate her help.
Mikayla was an excellent sitter for our dog while we were away for a week. She took great care of Jenny with lots of walks and cuddles. We would definitely trust Mikayla again for a future dog sitting need.
Mikayla is absolutely fabulous. My puppy just completed an extended stay with her: I was very worried about leaving him for a longer time however, Mikayla was so responsive always sending pictures and videos! I could see that he was doing well and that they bonded. Mikayla is very thoughtful and caring and it is clear that my little one appreciated her love and attention. Highly recommend! :)

We love Mikayla and so does Zola! Honestly we could not have found a better person to care for Zola when we are away. From great communication to a true compassion for ALL animals, Mikayla will always be our go to care taker for Zola!

Schedule
I currently work roughly 35hrs a week at a cafe located in Newark. Work 8hr shifts and am fine with multiple walks a day if needed.

I’m very attentive and affectionate with animals. Love to spend time playing with them and giving them cuddles. I’m also active and regularly go to gym so love to go outside and run around with them.
A typical day
I love to be active and play with all dogs. Take them for long walks and throw around toys. Tons of parks and trails nearby. Great at showing them affection and cuddles.
