About: I’m currently a Momma of 3 cats and a puppy. I’ve not always had my own dog but if I didn’t my parents had plenty I would help care for. I have rescue volunteer experience. I would go in and walk and care for the dogs at the rescue and even take them on day trips and adoption events. I have also house sat overnight for dogs and cats while their parents where on vacation. I am currently able to make my own schedule and would love to prioritize pet care as often as I can. I can keep my schedule flexible. I have a very small 5 month old puppy who is leash trained and doing very well with potty training. We do not currently have a fenced in area but do live in a community with an area for dogs to play on long leashes. As for in your home, I believe it’s very important to follow the owners instructions on how they do things normally in their space. I am not looking to confuse the animal and keeping to their normal routine is best.

“We booked Michaela for house sitting and pet sitting for our two senior dogs. One of our dogs requires medication twice a day and has mobility issues due to advanced arthritis. Our other dog has a reserved personality and can be very difficult with new "humans". Michaela was WONDERFUL! She took time and care to make sure our "difficult child" was comfortable with her, she is the "dog whisperer", he did warm up to her and we even got a picture of him snuggling with her while we were away. She also took special care with our dog with medical needs and made sure we knew he had had his medication as scheduled. Her communication was great, letting us know how the day was going etc.! About: I’ve had my own dog since 2017 and have helped care for him ever since. For the past 5 summers, I’ve also dog sat and house sat for a family friend’s two standard poodles, one elderly dog with hip issues and hearing/vision loss, and one younger, high-energy dog who needed lots of attention and play. Last fall, I cared for the older dog during his final days, helping him stand, supporting him outside, and cleaning up after him when needed. I have also dogsat for my cousin's dogs for multiple days, walking them however much they needed and spending time with them. In addition, I’ve cared for a family friend’s cat by feeding her, refreshing water, cleaning the litter box, and spending time with her while they were away. I currently have a very flexible schedule. I’m waiting to hear back about a summer internship, but even with that I would still be available for evening visits and weekends. If I do not get the internship, I’ll likely be working part-time with varying shifts, which would still allow me to do pet care during the other half of the day and let pets out before and after work. I’m reliable with scheduling and happy to work around your pet’s needs. I have an electric fence but can take will take it out on a leash if they aren't fence trained. I have a dog that is not 100% reliable on how friendly he will be if it is a male but we can easily put him away for a few hours and keep him calm. I would mostly keep a client's pet within their home/neighborhood.

About: I have taken care of many animals and give the best care I can while sharing pictures and updates to the owner. I can work with food motivated animals to do simple tricks. I am starting college shortly but I still will dedicate as much time as I can to taking care of animals. Breaks and days I don't have classes will be for anyone needing pet care! I have a car and can go to clients' houses and take care of their pets, as I have done often for friends and neighbors. I have a partially fenced yard for leashed play. I am in a house under construction but the top floor is finished and houses my two kittens. Calmer dogs would be better if coming into my house, otherwise I am able to care for any size or personality in the owners house.

About: I have been involved with pet rescue for coming up on 10 years and have been an avid pet parent to all types of animals for my entire life. My family and I were responsible for the rehabilitation of pets with high needs. This involved pets with both behavioral concerns and medically fragile pets through my fostering experience. I have also attended several pet training class for fosters and my own family pets and am generally good with pets of all temperaments.
