“There’s no words that can describe the amazing experience my dogs and I had using Heathers house sitting and dog walking services! My dogs used to go the kennel and would seem depressed and scared when getting them home. I came back after 4 days and the dogs acted like I just left. Apparently they didn’t need to miss me since they were showered with love and affection the entire time. About: I have been involved with pet rescue for coming up on 10 years and have been an avid pet parent to all types of animals for my entire life. My family and I were responsible for the rehabilitation of pets with high needs. This involved pets with both behavioral concerns and medically fragile pets through my fostering experience. I work with them to ensure they can put their best paw forward into their forever home. I have also attended several pet training class for fosters and my own family pets and am generally good with pets of all temperaments. I work full time, but am committed to taking care of all of our pets! Primarily I would be looking for night and weekend work to make sure I have adequate time to spend with your fur babies. I have 3 cats that live in my home and mostly roam freely (except for mealtimes) I also have a large dog kennel in my home for boarding needs. I have a small fenced in yard and also live in an easily walkable area with lots of doggie neighbors.

About: I've grown up with large dogs, cats, and chickens my entire life. I started dog sitting in high school for friends and family, which inspired me to pursue veterinary science. While applying to vet schools, I always love to take care of your critters and remind myself who I'm doing it for! I'm currently applying to veterinary school and freelance shadowing at different clinics in the area, so I'll have lots of time to entertain your pets! About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with Border Collies and have also adopted several dogs over the years, so I'm comfortable with everything from high-energy working breeds to laid-back companions. I've also volunteered at several shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, temperaments, and backgrounds. I work from home (as does my wife) so your pet will be getting consistent, attentive care. To be honest, our dog passed away last fall and we are missing the joy of being dog owners and having dogs around, but we need something a little more flexible for the time being. You are getting two sitters for the price of one and we will care for your dog as if they were our own :) As a former dog parent who has used Rover, my goal is to provide exactly what I was looking for each time I booked a walker/sitter: clear communication, limited hassle, and all of the assurances that you can rest easy and not worry...your doggo is in good hands! I work from home and call my own hours (as does my wife) so as long as we know your dog's routine we will make sure to incorporate it into our own. We have a fenced-in yard and a walking path near our home so walks are never a problem (we love walks). My wife and I both work from home so one of us will always be giving your dog attention/supervision. We have previously owned dogs who were flight risks so we have been conditioned to keep an eye out, keep doors closed, etc. We have a big fenced-in yard and have a little indoor gate/fence that we use in the house if need be to secure a hallway, etc.
