“Shanisa is super knowledgeable about caring for dogs. She was great with our 3 challenging dogs! Shanisa stayed at our house for 4 days to take care of our dogs while on a camping trip. We have a German Shepherd, Chihawheenie, and a pit boxer mix all with their own personalities and challenges. She gave great updates and had great communication throughout our stay. She played, walked, and cared for them even dealt with medications as much as she could (lol Did I mention our dogs are challenging? :) Shanisa was even able to get our rescued dog on a leash for walks (she is the only other person that can do that other than me. About: I own dogs from puppies to Senior ,I Love and care for all pups and I know how to give medication to dogs from past history .I current live with 7 Dogs my self and I am I grooming Graduate so I have been and taken care of all different size to breed dogs I am Currently taken care if my own pups or I helping out friends and family with there pups with walking /Drop in feeding them or bathing there pups I would never make your dog feel uncomfortable or make then feel like they are not safe id rather keep them in there own home in there own space so there safe and comfortable as possible

About: I once fostered a very cute polydatcyl cat named Cleo and enjoyed every moment of having a fur friend around. I did not mind at all the responsibilities involved in her care and wellbeing. It only lasted for a year but I am sure Cleo remembers/misses me as much as I miss her. I respect all forms of life and I aspire to gain trust and experience in my community. I currently have full time availability. I do have extensive professional background working in leadership roles so I am very responsible and have always prioritized humanity over production. I also enjoy cooking in my free time. While in a client's home, I am very observant of hazards and potential causes for problems. My time will be spent fully attentative to the unique care instructions left by the pets family and also will remain acutely aware of the pets wellbeing for the entire duration of my stay. I have foundational knowledge in cat and dog behavior as well as an understanding of appropriate first aid if ever needed.

About: I worked at a dog/cat kennel for over 3 years. I was fortunate enough to work with all breeds, sizes, ages, and behavioral levels. I want to give your pet the best and most comfortable experience while you're away! I am a college student at UD studying ecology. My schedule is generally pretty open with the exception of morning classes (~9 am - 11 am). My availability varies, but I can be flexible! Feel free to message me to inquire! I understand that all pets have different needs and preferences. I am comfortable playing with your dog in their home, taking them on walks, or little field trips and hikes (for the more energetic pups) around Delaware if you'd like! I have a soft spot for senior cats and dogs, so I am also more than happy to take things slower and give them the extra TLC they might need.

Animals have been my passion, love, and a needed presence for my entire life; in fact, my first word was kitty. As a child I researched animals of all kinds, and still do today. I love to train and play with dogs, snuggle with cats, ride horses, sing with the birds, make kissy faces at fish, etc. I often research natural pet care(& for humans!), training for all animals. I am educated in pet behavior and look for any signs of distress or change in your pets behavior, physical and mental health. I also enjoy making homemade organic, healthy treats for all pets.
