“Jasmine has watched our cats multiple times and is always prompt to respond and has everything taken care of, you know your pet sitter is good when you're more anxious and nervous animals come out and greet her! Always thankful for Jasmine and highly recommend her services!”

“The best! Kory came last minute after I couldn't find anyone else. Dogs loved the drop in a little too much, but Kory was able to handle it. 10/10 would recommend and I'm booking more visit for the upcoming week.”
About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years and have experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. As a past dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and caring. I provide regular updates, photos, and plenty of love so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I currently work 3 nights a week and make plenty of time for walks and play time. I live on my own and provide a safe, quiet home environment. I have no pets in my apartment. The complex does provide a spacious dog park and the silver comet trail with plenty of safe walking space.

“Absolutely amazing, my dog is a rescue dog and I am always unsure as to how he is going to react with others. He love Rachel from the very first day. She is such a caring person. Thank you.”

“She is amazing! Thank you so much Cindy! Took care of my kitty so well. She kept me updated, sending me so many pictures. Cindy is professional and always on time. Highly recommend 👍🏻🤍”

“Kyrah was fantastic when she watched our dogs!! She spent extra time with them and even gave our German Shepherd a nice brush. Our babies absolutely love her. Highly recommend her!! She communicated very well!!”

“Madison is wonderful!! Our dog loved her from the start. She sent photos and worked welll with our dog's finicky eating habits and gave plenty of belly rubs. I highly recommend her!”

About: Hello! My name is Jackie. I have been surrounded by animals all my life. I am 25 years old. I got into more experience with handling animals around 15 years of age. I’ve fostered four litters of kittens while finding them new homes. I have experience with bottle feeding. I have looked after friends and family’s dogs as well. I’ve taken dogs for walks, bathed them and other necessary things they needed such as medications. I would like to provide you with the comfort of knowing that your pet is in good, loving care! Pet care fits well into my routine because I currently attend school only twice a week. This allows me to have a flexible schedule for walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I’m able to plan my days around the pets I’m caring for to make sure they receive consistent attention, exercise, and care throughout the day. Even on school days, I make sure to schedule visits and check-ins so pets stay on their normal routine. My goal is to keep pets comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible. I provide walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention while making sure they feel safe and relaxed in their own environment. I currently care for pets in the client’s home through drop-ins, walks, or house sitting and do not bring pets into my own home. I always send updates and photos so owners know their pets are doing well.
“Barbara is wonderful. She took great care of my senior cat who is going through some things during her drop ins. Additionally she managed to win over my frightened younger cat. Absolutely would recommend. Fantastic job during our long trip. Would book again.”

About: I have experience in dog care for 16 years, from puppies to senior dogs due to owning two of my own. My friends trust me to watch their dogs, knowing that I will treat them like my own. I have a hybrid work schedule, so I am home 3-days of the week and usually just run errands on weekends close to my community. I currently have one senior dog so I have to make sure not to be away too long. I have a big yard, but it is not fenced off. I do have a stake where I am able to let my dog outside without him wandering off, and I have cameras in the backyard as well but I am usually outside if I let them out. I normally walk my dog for exercise purposes.
“Cara was great and she did well even though Sammy was very shy and spent each visit under the bed. I would definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and reliable sitter.”

“Keziah took care of my kitty just like she was hers. She fed her, gave her meds and loved on her twice a day. She sent pictures to let me see my sweet girl. I will be requesting that she returns for my next trip. There was an issue with gnats in my litter genie, she emptied the bag, cleaned out the bugs and even emptied the garbage! She treated my pet and home that she would her own home. Thank you Keziah”

“Valeria was amazing with Scout! He is a very shy boy, but she was so patient and kind with him until he got more comfortable with her. She followed all my instructions and requests. I will recommend her to anyone and we will definitely have her back!”

About: I currently have a dog with my boyfriend. Milo is 7 months and a Doberman. Before I had a German shepherd and after a golden doodle from babies to full grown so I am pretty experienced with small and large breeds. I’m currently working only in the evenings, occasionally some morning but for the most part free in the mornings and afternoons for your fur baby. I routinely go on the silver comet trail which I could walk your baby on or just around any neighborhoods but making sure there’s a sidewalk and good weather.

Judy was great! She was very patient with me as I am a 1st time user of Rover and I was having issues with using the application for what I needed. I really needed a daytime 8am-2pm option but there isn’t one. Plus she sent me texts with pictures every day! Will definitely be using her again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
