“Jasmine is a life saver she came through for me last minute and princess loves her she is so excited to see Jasmine walk through the door. will use anytime she is available and I’m out of town. Came home and still had a house and dog lol so I can’t complain”

“The best! Kory came last minute after I couldn't find anyone else. Dogs loved the drop in a little too much, but Kory was able to handle it. 10/10 would recommend and I'm booking more visit for the upcoming week.”
About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years and have experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. As a past dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and caring. I provide regular updates, photos, and plenty of love so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I currently work 3 nights a week and make plenty of time for walks and play time. I live on my own and provide a safe, quiet home environment. I have no pets in my apartment. The complex does provide a spacious dog park and the silver comet trail with plenty of safe walking space.
“She is amazing! Thank you so much Cindy! Took care of my kitty so well. She kept me updated, sending me so many pictures. Cindy is professional and always on time. Highly recommend 👍🏻🤍”

About: I am a stay at home mom with my 9 year old daughter and 13 year old son. I began grooming when I was 22. After a couple of years I started my own grooming salon. I also did pet sitting and boarding for many of my clients. When my son was born ten years later I sold my grooming business to devote more time to him. Now that my children are older I would love to allow them the opportunity to help me in the business of caring for your dog. After the loss of our dog, my children and I look forward to giving your dog lots of love and attention. We hope you will love us as much as we love animals! We also offer Drop offs as early as 7am and pick up as late as 9pm. I am a stay at home mom. My husband works from home and my son and daughter are home schooled. So someone is always home! I have a fenced yard, doggy door and plenty of space for running and playing! We are an easy laid back family and love to have pet visitors
“Cara was great and she did well even though Sammy was very shy and spent each visit under the bed. I would definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and reliable sitter.”

“Absolutely amazing, my dog is a rescue dog and I am always unsure as to how he is going to react with others. He love Rachel from the very first day. She is such a caring person. Thank you.”

“Madison is absolutely amazing. We have 4 dogs, 4 cats & 3 turtles. She handled our zoo like a boss!! We went out of town for a week & on the 1st night our dogs escaped the fence. She went to our house late at night to wrangle everyone in! Our litter robot malfunctioned & she fixed it. She cares for our babies like her own! Our home would've been in disarray without her. We will forever use Madison & I can't sing her praises enough.”

“Kyrah was fantastic when she watched our dogs!! She spent extra time with them and even gave our German Shepherd a nice brush. Our babies absolutely love her. Highly recommend her!! She communicated very well!!”

About: Hello! My name is Jackie. I have been surrounded by animals all my life. I am 25 years old. I got into more experience with handling animals around 15 years of age. I’ve fostered four litters of kittens while finding them new homes. I have experience with bottle feeding. I have looked after friends and family’s dogs as well. I’ve taken dogs for walks, bathed them and other necessary things they needed such as medications. I would like to provide you with the comfort of knowing that your pet is in good, loving care! Pet care fits well into my routine because I currently attend school only twice a week. This allows me to have a flexible schedule for walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I’m able to plan my days around the pets I’m caring for to make sure they receive consistent attention, exercise, and care throughout the day. Even on school days, I make sure to schedule visits and check-ins so pets stay on their normal routine. My goal is to keep pets comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible. I provide walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention while making sure they feel safe and relaxed in their own environment. I currently care for pets in the client’s home through drop-ins, walks, or house sitting and do not bring pets into my own home. I always send updates and photos so owners know their pets are doing well.
“5 stars, no complaints here. Barbara took great care of my cat while we were gone for a couple days. I will definitely request her again next time we go out of town. When I met her, she also demonstrated an extensive knowledge of cats and their care. I'm very happy with her care.”

“Leylah could not have been a more perfect sitter for our two cats. She takes LOTS of photos so you have a great impression of how everything is going while you are gone. Everyone knows how stressful it can be to let a stranger around your loved animals. Leylah took all of the anxiety out of that experience and allowed us to know that someone we trusted was there while we were away. We will 100% be returning customers.”

“The best in the business!! Took care of my pets like her own. I love that she is a vet tech so my babies were in the best care. She has excellent communication and was always on time. I loved the photos she sent of my cats. She took great care of them. 10/10 recommend!!”

“Jasmine is the best! She cares for our pets as they were her own. Very responsible and prompt to respond to any questions we have. She has been our sitter for the lasts 4 years and I wouldn’t have anyone else.”

“Stephanie has been caring for our three dogs for some time, and she has consistently been wonderful with them. It’s clear that she genuinely loves animals. During our most recent trip, our camera caught a chicken escaping, and Stephanie went above and beyond by safely catching the chicken and bringing her back home. Jasmine has watched our cats multiple times and is always prompt to respond and has everything taken care of, you know your pet sitter is good when you're more anxious and nervous animals come out and greet her! Always thankful for Jasmine and highly recommend her services!

Kory was super great in taking care of our cat while we were away for a week. She was communicative, took care of everything we needed, and even helped clean up a potting soil accident that our cat decided to create. Her help was very appreciated and we would definitely recommend to others.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
