About: I have the time and want to help you with your pet care needs that are with in my limits. I can feed, walk, and play with your pets when your time is limited or you’re on vacation. I can fit most schedules. My times are flexible but my travel is limited. I work well with most animals not just the furry ones. I have a tether in the back yard for dogs to safely explore outside and roam around for the perfect potty spot and an open floor plan for large dogs to walk comfortably around the house.

About: I’ve had a lifelong passion for animals and have been caring for them since I was a young girl. I volunteered at my local humane society growing up, which sparked my love for helping animals feel safe, loved, and cared for. I later spent 4 years working at a veterinary hospital, where I gained hands-on experience and truly fell in love with animal care on a deeper level. I also worked as a manager at a puppy store in high school, partnering closely with local breeders and learning even more about responsible care and different breeds. Today, I’m a proud dog mom to our mini Goldendoodle, Thor, who is full of energy and loves making new friends. We stay active with at least three walks a day, so your pup will get plenty of exercise, attention, and playtime while in my care. I have two young children who absolutely adore animals and have been raised to be gentle, loving, and respectful around pets. Our home is full of warmth, playfulness, and lots of cuddles! While I truly love cats as well, my husband is highly allergic, so I’m currently only able to offer care in my home for dogs. However I am able to care for cats in your home. I treat every dog like part of the family and understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet with someone you trust. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away—and to give you peace of mind every step of the way. I work full time however I am able to care for dogs given I work from home. Thor will also provide a fun and loving environment while your fur babies stay at our home. I have a large home & take Thor on many walks. I enjoy our walks and also let him run in our pickleball courts for extra exercise and fun.

Michael watched our cats and leopard gecko for two weeks while we were out of the country and did a great job. He provides constant updates and photos! One of our cats loved him so much that he even sat on his lap! (Which he never does for anyone but us) I would highly recommend Michael for any of your pet sitting needs!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in White Forest. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
