“Ashley was amazing! She was willing and able to watch our dog, despite only having a 3 day notice. She was even willing to come over prior to booking to be sure she would be a good fit. She provided updates and photos after each visit, and was excellent about communicating any concerns. She was patient with our demanding dog and spent extra time with her until she was more comfortable with a stranger in our house. I would recommend Ashley to anyone looking for pet care and would definitely book her again.”
About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years and have experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. As a past dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and caring. I provide regular updates, photos, and plenty of love so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I currently work 3 nights a week and make plenty of time for walks and play time. I live on my own and provide a safe, quiet home environment. I have no pets in my apartment. The complex does provide a spacious dog park and the silver comet trail with plenty of safe walking space.
“Kory did four drop ins for my two dogs while I was traveling. She is a good communicator and was able to problem solve when a hiccup came up with the door codes. Kory is an animal lover for sure, and even found a stray dog and located its owner while doing another sit and still managed our drop in.”

“Kyrah was amazing and very professional. Her knowledge of canine psychology gives her the ability to work with all pups successfully. Although for our first visit Kyrah was not able to do an in person meet and greet, she was still able to come in and make our pup feel comfortable. I recommend Kyrah as a pet sitter you want to use. Thank you Kyrah.”

About: I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Animal Science and a minor in Communications and went on to work for a pet nutrition company shortly after graduating. I have always loved animals and have had a passion to care for them. While in college, I worked as a vet assistant for a year at the Humane Society where I assisted vets during spay/neuter surgeries, took patients on walks, and managed the animals after surgery by checking on vitals and providing other services such as karo treatment, fluids, and nail trims. I also worked with a pet sitting company, where I did daily visits to check on people's pets, took them on walks, and did overnight visits. I also have a dog of my own, his name is Taz and he is a Boston Terrier. I absolutely adore him! We go on lots of walks together and love to hang out in the backyard and porch. I have recently moved back to GA from CT and I am looking to get back into pet sitting again! For the time being, I have most weekends open to come help take care of your pets as well as some week nights for pet/house sitting. I am happy to come over and take care of your fur babies in the comfort of their home. I am available to feed them, water replenishment, take them on walks, medication administration if needed, litter box cleaning, as well as snuggles and playtime.

“Absolutely amazing, my dog is a rescue dog and I am always unsure as to how he is going to react with others. He love Rachel from the very first day. She is such a caring person. Thank you.”

“I cannot say enough good things about Madison. She came to our house before we left for a meet & greet of our 4 dogs & 2 cats. She was GREAT with our pitty puppy, our anti-social/ hates everyone dog ended up loving her. One of our cats had a matted eye & she cleaned him up. The other cat got into a cat fight & she made sure that he was okay. She even fed our turtles. 10/10 will book her again.”

“Jasmine is the BEST!! She was super sweet to our two fur babies and was very informative about how everything went. Super sweet and we will be using her as much as possible!!”

About: I’ve had a lifelong passion for animals and have been caring for them since I was a young girl. I volunteered at my local humane society growing up, which sparked my love for helping animals feel safe, loved, and cared for. I later spent 4 years working at a veterinary hospital, where I gained hands-on experience and truly fell in love with animal care on a deeper level. I also worked as a manager at a puppy store in high school, partnering closely with local breeders and learning even more about responsible care and different breeds. Today, I’m a proud dog mom to our mini Goldendoodle, Thor, who is full of energy and loves making new friends. We stay active with at least three walks a day, so your pup will get plenty of exercise, attention, and playtime while in my care. I have two young children who absolutely adore animals and have been raised to be gentle, loving, and respectful around pets. Our home is full of warmth, playfulness, and lots of cuddles! While I truly love cats as well, my husband is highly allergic, so I’m currently only able to offer care in my home for dogs. However I am able to care for cats in your home. I treat every dog like part of the family and understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet with someone you trust. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away—and to give you peace of mind every step of the way. I work full time however I am able to care for dogs given I work from home. Thor will also provide a fun and loving environment while your fur babies stay at our home. I have a large home & take Thor on many walks. I enjoy our walks and also let him run in our pickleball courts for extra exercise and fun.
“Carole was absolutely fantastic! We pre-booked Carole a few months before our trip and from the moment we booked she has been so communicative and on top of making sure the animals were comfortable. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“When my animals met Jenny, they loved her from the get-go! I am so happy that she can come take care of my babies when I am out. I am confident when I leave them in her care, because I know she’ll take excellent care of them. I think she is secretly a dog whisperer.”

“My initial dog sitter fell though and I frantically searched for someone last minute. Alyssa was quick to respond, extremely communicative, punctual and sent pictures of my pups. This was my first time using this app and I am beyond greatful for how much love & care she showed my pups while I was out of town. 1000000% recommend her to care for your fur babies. ❤️❤️”

“Alexa is great! This is the second time we have used her, and she is very attentive to our two dogs. We love the photos she sends of them as well! One of our dogs is diabetic, so we appreciate that she is knowledgeable in dogs with diabetes and is able to give him his two shots a day. Thank you Alexa for caring for our pets with love and care!”

About: Hello! My name is Jackie. I have been surrounded by animals all my life. I am 25 years old. I got into more experience with handling animals around 15 years of age. I’ve fostered four litters of kittens while finding them new homes. I have experience with bottle feeding. I have looked after friends and family’s dogs as well. I’ve taken dogs for walks, bathed them and other necessary things they needed such as medications. I would like to provide you with the comfort of knowing that your pet is in good, loving care! Pet care fits well into my routine because I currently attend school only twice a week. This allows me to have a flexible schedule for walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I’m able to plan my days around the pets I’m caring for to make sure they receive consistent attention, exercise, and care throughout the day. Even on school days, I make sure to schedule visits and check-ins so pets stay on their normal routine. My goal is to keep pets comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible. I provide walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention while making sure they feel safe and relaxed in their own environment. I currently care for pets in the client’s home through drop-ins, walks, or house sitting and do not bring pets into my own home. I always send updates and photos so owners know their pets are doing well.

“Michael was excellent looking after my baby, Ecko. He was very attentive with her and the things she required. His services exceeded what was expected and communication was excellent. He even gave a couple of stuffed Pokemon to my grandson.I received plenty of pictures everyday and could see how well Ecko was doing. I was very pleased with his care and would definitely have him take care of my baby if needed again. Thank you for providing a great experience for my family.”

Michael watched our cats and leopard gecko for two weeks while we were out of the country and did a great job. He provides constant updates and photos! One of our cats loved him so much that he even sat on his lap! (Which he never does for anyone but us) I would highly recommend Michael for any of your pet sitting needs!

Kory was super great in taking care of our cat while we were away for a week. She was communicative, took care of everything we needed, and even helped clean up a potting soil accident that our cat decided to create. Her help was very appreciated and we would definitely recommend to others.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
