“Absolutely fantastic experience with Jenny!! From the moment we met, it was clear that she genuinely cares about pets and has a deep understanding of their needs. We have a senior pug with limited mobility in her back legs, so she is not able to go to the bathroom on her own. This makes it tough for us to go out of town because not a lot of people can express Khaleesi, but Jenny was up to the task. Daily updates with photos and messages kept me reassured, and it was evident that Jenny went above and beyond to ensure Khaleesi was happy and comfortable. She even noticed Khaleesi’s dry eyes and provided my parents with an eye treatment that has helped a lot with my dog’s eye dryness. The peace of mind I had while away was priceless. Highly recommend Jenny for anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional pet sitter. Will definitely be booking again!”

“Cindy was awesome, we were anxious leaving our elderly pup with someone new and she made the process so easy start to finish. She sent wonderful photos multiple times a day to let us know Faith was doing well and we felt at ease on our trip knowing our pup was getting good care!”

“Ashley was a great choice to watch my dogs for me. She professionally arranged a meet and greet beforehand so that I would be comfortable and more importantly my dogs would at least have been introduced. She was consistent with the time of day she stopped by and sent lots of pictures through the app. I have already rebooked her for two upcoming engagements. I would highly recommend Ashley.”

“Kyrah was fantastic when she watched our dogs!! She spent extra time with them and even gave our German Shepherd a nice brush. Our babies absolutely love her. Highly recommend her!! She communicated very well!!”

About: I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Animal Science and a minor in Communications and went on to work for a pet nutrition company shortly after graduating. I have always loved animals and have had a passion to care for them. While in college, I worked as a vet assistant for a year at the Humane Society where I assisted vets during spay/neuter surgeries, took patients on walks, and managed the animals after surgery by checking on vitals and providing other services such as karo treatment, fluids, and nail trims. I also worked with a pet sitting company, where I did daily visits to check on people's pets, took them on walks, and did overnight visits. I also have a dog of my own, his name is Taz and he is a Boston Terrier. I absolutely adore him! We go on lots of walks together and love to hang out in the backyard and porch. I have recently moved back to GA from CT and I am looking to get back into pet sitting again! For the time being, I have most weekends open to come help take care of your pets as well as some week nights for pet/house sitting. I am happy to come over and take care of your fur babies in the comfort of their home. I am available to feed them, water replenishment, take them on walks, medication administration if needed, litter box cleaning, as well as snuggles and playtime.
“Kory is great! She obviously loves animals and has been great especially giving my slower-to-warm-up rescue pittie time and kindness to feel comfortable. Looking forward to working with her more soon!”

“This was a last-minute emergency appointment, and Sarah immediately fit my dogs into her schedule. Aside from the fun time my dogs have with her, knowing that she's willing to help out whenever we need her is amazingly important to us! Thank you, Sarah, for helping out whenever you can. ❤️❤️”

“Carole was absolutely fantastic! We pre-booked Carole a few months before our trip and from the moment we booked she has been so communicative and on top of making sure the animals were comfortable. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Absolutely amazing, my dog is a rescue dog and I am always unsure as to how he is going to react with others. He love Rachel from the very first day. She is such a caring person. Thank you.”

About: Hello! My name is Jackie. I have been surrounded by animals all my life. I am 25 years old. I got into more experience with handling animals around 15 years of age. I’ve fostered four litters of kittens while finding them new homes. I have experience with bottle feeding. I have looked after friends and family’s dogs as well. I’ve taken dogs for walks, bathed them and other necessary things they needed such as medications. I would like to provide you with the comfort of knowing that your pet is in good, loving care! Pet care fits well into my routine because I currently attend school only twice a week. This allows me to have a flexible schedule for walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I’m able to plan my days around the pets I’m caring for to make sure they receive consistent attention, exercise, and care throughout the day. Even on school days, I make sure to schedule visits and check-ins so pets stay on their normal routine. My goal is to keep pets comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible. I provide walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention while making sure they feel safe and relaxed in their own environment. I currently care for pets in the client’s home through drop-ins, walks, or house sitting and do not bring pets into my own home. I always send updates and photos so owners know their pets are doing well.
“Michael was excellent looking after my baby, Ecko. He was very attentive with her and the things she required. His services exceeded what was expected and communication was excellent. He even gave a couple of stuffed Pokemon to my grandson.I received plenty of pictures everyday and could see how well Ecko was doing. I was very pleased with his care and would definitely have him take care of my baby if needed again. Thank you for providing a great experience for my family.”

“Alexa is great! This is the second time we have used her, and she is very attentive to our two dogs. We love the photos she sends of them as well! One of our dogs is diabetic, so we appreciate that she is knowledgeable in dogs with diabetes and is able to give him his two shots a day. Thank you Alexa for caring for our pets with love and care!”

Always willing to give care to any animal The weekends will always work out! Also afternoons and evenings. Need mornings? I can always figure out a way to make time to see your pet. About: I have a lifelong love for dogs and years of hands-on experience caring for them. I grew up around dogs and currently have my own pitbull named Sage, who I adopted and trained myself. She is the sweetest girl and has taught me a lot about patience, consistency, and giving dogs the love and structure they need to thrive. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, basic training reinforcement, and making sure dogs feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I treat every dog like they’re my own and always make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine because animals have always been a big part of my life. I care for my own dog, Sage, every day by making sure she gets exercise, attention, and proper care. I also regularly help take care of my boyfriend’s five cats, so feeding, cleaning litter boxes, and giving them love and attention is something I’m very used to doing throughout the week. Because I’m already in the habit of caring for animals daily, it’s easy for me to incorporate pet sitting into my schedule and make sure every pet gets the time, care, and attention they deserve. When caring for pets, my goal is always to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible by feeding them on schedule, making sure they have fresh water, taking dogs on walks or letting them out for bathroom breaks, and giving them plenty of attention and playtime. I also keep litter boxes clean for cats and make sure they get the affection and care they need. Because I’ve grown up around many different animals and currently care for my own dog, Sage, as well as my boyfriend’s five cats, I’m very comfortable with different personalities and needs. I’m attentive, patient, and always treat every pet like they’re my own while making sure the home stays clean and everything is exactly how the owner expects.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Westward Ho
Xin, has done an excellent job with our cats. Two of our Three cats take medication and she was awesome by share photos of the amounts of medicine they were given and they were correct every time. She sends us photos and videos of our cats being fed, giving them pets, playing with them and it gives me a smile whenever I see her checking in on them. She’s great at what she does, would totally book again and can not recommend enough.

Michael watched our cats and leopard gecko for two weeks while we were out of the country and did a great job. He provides constant updates and photos! One of our cats loved him so much that he even sat on his lap! (Which he never does for anyone but us) I would highly recommend Michael for any of your pet sitting needs!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
