We highly recommend Daniel's services and are so grateful to have found a sitter we can depend on! Thanks for always taking such good care of our little gremlins, Daniel! You're the best!”

About: My Personal Approach & Passion for Pets My genuine love for animals is what drives my pet care style. I am patient, trustworthy, and naturally observant, making it easy for me to connect with pets of all temperaments. For me, pet sitting isn’t just a task; it is about providing a warm, low-stress environment where your animals feel entirely safe, happy, and treated like family while you are away. What Sets Me Apart:I offer a highly adaptive environment for all pets and life stages, including dogs, cats, and puppies. I easily handle the high energy and training support needed for playful youngsters, as well as the gentle comfort, slow pace, and strict medication schedules required for senior companion animals. I customize my daily routine to mirror yours, ensuring your pet enjoys a seamless transition with plenty of interactive play, cozy naps, and affection. Pet care is the main focus of my daily routine because I work from home full-time. This flexibility allows me to provide constant supervision, frequent potty breaks every 2 to 3 hours, and interactive playtime throughout the day. My weekly schedule is highly consistent, meaning your dogs, cats, or puppies will enjoy a reliable routine with plenty of companionship and zero long periods spent alone. I create a safe, pet-proofed environment where your dogs, cats, or puppies are treated like family. They have full access to comfortable resting spots, fresh water, and supervised play. I follow your exact feeding schedules, crate routines, and potty windows to keep their days consistent and stress-free. In Your Home (Drop-Ins/Sitting): I respect your space while prioritizing your pet's comfort. During visits, I handle feeding, refreshing water bowls, cleaning litter boxes, and administering any required medications. I make sure to include plenty of quality playtime or belly rubs, and I always send you photo updates so you know they are safe and happy.
About: I am 34 and i currently own 3 dogs. I have a senior 8 years old Affenpinscher, a 6 year old American Pit Bull Terrier, and a 4 year old Australian Shepherd mixed with Black Lab. No pet is too small or too big. I have raised/owned many animals since I was 7 years old. Anywhere from dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, and lizards. I also have watched some friends animals while they went out of town. I have experience with various ages and physical health needs of different dogs and I understand not all dogs of the same breed require the same needs. I have personal experience with house breaking dogs, basic training (sit,lay,stay/wait), bathing, walking, and addressing some minor wounds. I am here to help make your day easier by assisting you and your fur baby to the best of my ability. Feel free to ask more questions. I am currently trying to change my career focus to something I genuinely love which is animals. I currently work full time on a plant. 4 days on and 4 days off. However, i want to be able to change that by starting to get out there and get more experience with working with other people's pets so that way I can hopefully make the career change to focusing on animals. I believe in full and open communication during the time of your pets visit. From building a bond with you and your fur baby to making sure that your pet receives not only the service your asking for but a fullfilled and happy time!

About: I’ve been around dogs all of my life. When I was in college, I was the student my professors would ask to take care of their pets when they would go on vacation and summers, including house sitting. I currently have 2 boxers and love them so much! They are the most spoiled furbabies ever! Boxer energy is always a thing in my house!!! They are very well taken care of and that’s how I would treat my clients’ pets. I would not want just anyone coming in to take care of my pets, but someone that is trustworthy, dependable, reliable, and knows how to give the care and love that would like to give them when you are away. I would love the opportunity to spoil your furbabies too! I’m currently working full time but am available weekends. However my schedule will change soon to accommodate more availability during the weekdays in the summer. My dogs are sweet as pie and love to run, go for walks, and just play boxer style…they are boxers! I am used to the crazy that comes with it and all of the cuddles and love that they give in return. My dogs are used to going out multiple times on leash a day and walks daily. I take safety very seriously with my pets and always have my emergency pack with me-bottle of water, bags, phone, keys, even spare key in case, clicker, and treats with me!! I’d rather be safe than sorry.

I’m also to take them on long walks around the neighborhood. You can feel safe knowing that they’ll never be out of my sight when outside. I would treat them like my own.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Wilbanks Circle
My dog ended up with an upset stomach before Kyrah came at our agreed time. Kyrah came inside my house to quite the smelly gross mess. Even though it wasn’t her dog or her house, she still cleaned it up like it was her own home and dog. I am grateful for her. Using her sound judgment, she didn’t feed the dog as originally planned bc the dog had an upset stomach. I am extremely appreciative for Kyrah. My dogs love her and they say she is a great human. I agree with them.

Very attentive and always communicates if something comes up. She can be flexible in case of changes/emergency which has helped us out before in a pinch. Our boys love when she comes and she knows my dogs and cat's schedule to a T which makes leaving them at home way less stressful.

Michael was excellent looking after my baby, Ecko. He was very attentive with her and the things she required. His services exceeded what was expected and communication was excellent. He even gave a couple of stuffed Pokemon to my grandson.I received plenty of pictures everyday and could see how well Ecko was doing. I was very pleased with his care and would definitely have him take care of my baby if needed again. Thank you for providing a great experience for my family.

Jasmine has watched our cats multiple times and is always prompt to respond and has everything taken care of, you know your pet sitter is good when you're more anxious and nervous animals come out and greet her! Always thankful for Jasmine and highly recommend her services!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
