“Kory was open to Emmy’s “quirks” and lovingly handled them. Prior to sitting, Kory provided information, level set her personal schedule so that we knew what her time looked like, and kept us informed. I would definitely ask Kory to sit again. ?”

“Carole was an absolutely wonderful pet sitter! She stayed with our 1.5-year-old rescue puppy and our 11-year-old cat, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was friendly, reliable, and consistently sent plenty of updates and photos, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Carole spent quality time caring for and playing with our puppy, making sure his energy and needs were met, while also being respectful of both pets’ unique personalities and boundaries—especially important for our older cat. It was clear she truly cares about animals and takes the time to understand them individually. We would highly recommend Carole to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter, and we”

“Claire is outstanding sitter. She is very engaged with our pet for the entire duration of the trip. She continuously sends photos. Knowing our pet is happy and cared for makes our trips even more relaxing and enjoyable.”

“We are so grateful for Kelly! She stayed with our three dogs from November 7–9 and took such wonderful care of them. It’s not easy managing three personalities, but she gave each of them so much love and attention. She kept us updated with pictures and messages, which really put our minds at ease while we were away. When we got home, the dogs were happy, calm, and clearly had been well cared for — it was such a relief to know they were in such good hands. Kelly went above and beyond, and we can tell she truly loves what she does. We’ll definitely be calling her again the next time we go out of town or just need a drop-in!!”

“This was our first time booking with rover. Rachel’s profile stood out to us since she had pictures of schnauzers on her page and that’s what we have. Rachel came to our house a day early to meet our girls and get acquainted with them. I was so happy to see that our timid rescue girl even put her paws on Rachel’s leg, which was a huge indication that she felt comfortable with Rachel. She took great care of our girls and I had no worries about Rachel being at our house. She confirmed the times and sent us pictures of our very relaxed girls and even had one of them camped out laying beside her. We are definitely going to be using Rachel again!”

“Cindy was a great sitter for Tippy! He is a very anxious dog. She was patient with him and waited until he came to her. She worked with him to get him to eat while I was gone. I highly recommend Cindy! She worked with me when I had to leave a day early. She came in and took care of things.”

“James did a great job taking care of my two cats while I was on vacation. He sent me pics and videos every day so I could see how my boys were doing. The house was spotless and so was the litter box. Highly recommend! And I would definitely re-hire.”

“Ken is amazing!! He took great care of Dixie (and my home) while I was away, and will definitely book him again!!! He's greatly professional and his love of dogs shines through!”

“Lauren was absolutely amazing!! I had to find a sitter last minute, and I loved her bio the moment I read it. She responded quickly to my request and made sure to nail out the details for my dog’s stay. I could tell she’s experienced and loves animals, and so could my dog! She sent regular updates and pictures, and when I saw my dog frolicking in her backyard and snuggled up later on in the evening like he forgot I had dropped him off was all I needed to set my mind at ease haha! Lauren is a fantastic sitter and I will absolutely be booking her again. Thank you so much!!”

“Taylor was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of our pup Lewis and our home. She kept us updated with photos every day we were gone. Our pup Lewis loved spending time with Taylor, playing in the yard, going on walks, and snuggling. Taylor truly went above and beyond!”

“Sydney was great. She was excellent with communication, and I especially appreciated her asking what she could be doing to help our shy pup feel more comfortable. She sent photos and spent a lot of time with him and was super accommodating to working with our other farm pets. We are so thankful we found her and would definitely book again!”

About: I am a respectful and caring sitter waiting to assist! 🩷 I currently have two dogs, a rescue named Kali and a mini golden doddle, Bentley! Over the years, I’ve taken care of my own dogs and friends/families whenever needed! I promise to be gentle, caring and responsible when watching or walking your baby 🦮 I work full time, remotely from 9-5pm. My day to day schedule is not busy and I am open to be more flexible if needed. I have an unfenced large backyard where I usually leash my dogs to walk or play. Inside my home, there is space in my basement, where my office is, to allow any dog of any size to play.
“We couldn’t be happier with the care of our dog and cat received while we were away. Serenidy went above and beyond, showering them with love and attention. Not only did they feel comfortable and loved, but our home was also in great hands!”

About: We grew up with poodles so I'm used to having fur babies around. I know every pet has their own routine, energy and personality. I'm happy to walk, play, feed, lounge or whatever the fur baby prefers in their environment. I'm in between full time jobs at this time, so I'm happy to come hang out with fur babies while their parents are off in the office etc. Each pup will be leashed if we are leaving the house, and watched like a hawk if not leashed in the back yard. Belly rubs, back scratches, toys treats or whatever the direction is week be followed
About: I have walked and cared for a variety of kinds of dogs for a variety of years and always include play/pet time. I have helped with puppy training and also cared for the seniors who need a little extra love and patience. With 2 high-energy dogs of my own I understand the importance of a long walk and time to burn off some energy! I currently work part-time on the weekends, so my greatest amount of flexibility is during weekdays. I do my best to schedule during times when I have availability to spend adequate quality time with the pets! Unfortunately due to my own animals I am unable to provide care for other animals from my own home, however I have experience staying in the homes of a variety of other clients which has helped keep their animals comfortable and on their usual schedule.

I cannot recommend Claire enough! I had something come up last minute and needed to travel out of town, but my dog had just undergone foreign body surgery and required someone highly responsible, attentive, and experienced to care for her. She needed multiple medications given at different times throughout the day, and I needed someone I could fully trust. Claire went above and beyond. She handled all of her medications perfectly, followed her recovery instructions, and gave her the care that she needed. I had 0 worries while I was away because I knew she was in the best hands. I am so grateful to have found her on here and for the amazing care that she provided. I will absolutely rebook with her for any future needs!

Kory was very reliable, communicative and did a great job watching both our home and our dachshunds. She followed our instructions and the house was clean when we came home. I am VERY protective and particular when it comes to having someone watch my dogs but Kory did a fantastic job. I highly recommend her services!

Lexi did a great job watching our pets and home while we were away. She was very communicative, kind, and made sure both animals were well taken care of. Everything went smoothly and we felt comfortable knowing our pets were in good hands. We’d definitely trust her to watch them again!

First day with Maddie watching Olive and they had a great time! Olive got all her snacks and treats and was so happy when I got home. I could tell she had a great day ❤️ it gave such a peace of mind to know Maddie was here with Olive keeping an eye on her. Would highly recommend Maddie - she is so kind and professional. Olive loved her from the minute they met.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Wilbanks Circle walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Wilbanks Circle maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wilbanks Circle choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wilbanks Circle. On Rover:

- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
