About: I’ve been caring for pets since 2019, when I started helping my mom with her dog-sitting business. Since then, I’ve gained experience caring for dogs for friends, family, and acquaintances, including overnight stays. My name is Aurora, and I’m a reliable, caring, and responsible pet sitter who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. I have several years of experience caring for pets, including experience helping my mom as a Rover pet sitter as well as caring for dogs for family, friends, and other clients. I currently work part-time from Sunday through Wednesday, with shifts that typically fall between 2 PM–10 PM or 4 PM–10 PM. Because of this, I have the most availability Thursday through Saturday, as well as mornings and earlier parts of the day on my workdays. Every pet is different, so I believe the best care starts with getting to know their personality and routine. For dogs, a typical visit may look like a potty break, a walk, playing with their favorite toys, spending time outside, feeding, fresh water, and plenty of attention. Depending on their energy level, we might spend our time going for a longer walk and playing, or we may simply relax together and keep eachother company. For cats, I understand that their needs can look a little different. A typical cat visit may include feeding, refreshing their water, cleaning their litter box, playing with toys, and giving them attention and affection if they enjoy it. Some cats are social and love having someone play with them or give them lots of attention, while others are more independent or shy and prefer to have someone quietly check on them and give them space. I’m comfortable respecting those differences and letting each cat set the pace. I would also be more happy to take care of other small tasks that help keep your pets comfortable while you're away, such as bringing in packages, taking your trash to the curb, or watering plants. If your pet needs medication or has a specific care routine, I’m happy to discuss their needs beforehand.

I am an active user of Rover for my Beagle when I am gone for work, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets. Me and my family have always been pet lovers, having different dog breeds and other pets growing up. I’m very respectful of clients’ homes and make sure everything is left exactly as I found it. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is safe and well cared for while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and happiness are always my top priority.

About: I took a very active role in caring for my family dog until he tragically passed from cancer in 2019. I have also dog-sat for neighbors’ pets with particular dietary needs. Currently, I’ve been told by roommates that I have a very calming presence with our house dog. I work part time primarily in the evenings and when not working, I often have community theater rehearsals on weeknights. During the Mizzou school year I will have some classes during the day, though for no more than a few hours at a time. My current house is not available for pet boarding unless specifically negotiated. The property has a non-fenced yard and one resident dog, who does behave well with other animals. Neighborhood is safe, well-paved, and walkable.

“Taylor was great! She came over the day before to meet the doggies. Even though the times I originally requested were a little difficult for her schedule that day (it was last minute,) she did all she could to make it as close as possible- and ended up being there about the time I had requested anyway. I scheduled two visits in one day, and while I said the second visit only needed to be a feed and let out in the yard - she asked if they could still go for a walk. :) She was also very observant and noticed a small scratch on one of my dogs, sent a photo, and asked if I wanted her to treat it. I really appreciate all the attentiveness; and the above and beyond she provided for my babies. Most importantly, the dogs seemed to really like her too. :) We are already planning for her to return. About: I have always had pets in my house that I have taken care of. I love animals, and would love to help out! I consistently walk, feed, and play with my dogs at home. I also have done a ton of volunteering and fostering at local animal shelters! I’m am currently a senior at mizzou, but I have a very relaxed schedule this semester, due to the fact that most of my courses are online. I plan on doing my best to make the dog as comfortable as possible while I am the caretaker. I want to meet and respect the owners needs!

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life! I grew up with a mini dachshund and cared for him as he got older and became a senior pup. I’ve also cared for other senior dogs, and I have a special love for them, they deserve all the extra snuggles and attention. I also got a puppy when I was younger, so I know how to keep up with all that energy! With experience from puppyhood to senior care, I’m comfortable walking dogs, giving them plenty of love, and making sure they feel happy and safe. I recently moved to the area and I am looking for something to do. My schedule is pretty open and would love to fill it with pet care. When caring for a client's pet I always make sure to follow any rules the client has given me. I make sure they get plenty of love, attention, and snuggles while also keeping up with their feeding schedule, potty breaks, and walks.

About: Evan grew up on a farm and has been around a rotating cast of animals his whole life including dogs, cats, horses, and a llama. Gabrielle still routinely provides care for her family's 12-year-old golden doodle, Millie and loves dogs of all sizes breeds and personalities. We can't wait to hang out with your pups! we love walks, playtime and cuddles. Evan is a writer who works from home, and Gabrielle is a yoga teacher who is in and out depending on the day. we are home a lot because our dog has separation anxiety! We have a small fenced in yard with gravel and lots of plants. we can go back there for pee breaks and playtime plus we are very close to humboldt park where we love to walk our dog. Our house is cozy and dog friendly. our dog Bruce loves to play and cuddle with other pups

About: I’m a natural born animal lover. I grew up rescuing birds and any kind of critter since I was a small child. I lived in Missouri and was blessed with a big yard to fill with dogs and a loving home to fill with cats. I also have a strong passion for rabbits after adopting a disabled rabbit. Long term animal shelter volunteer and worked with Rocky Mountain Feline Rescue. Fear-Free training and certified. I’m extremely flexible. I work from home for a fulfillment company and work for myself. I do have a medical asthetics license but not working out of home right now. I think communication is so important- especially when it comes to your loved ones. I am happy to provide photos and detailed updates. I also love all animals so it’s not a challenge to treat others as if they were my own.

About: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life and have so much love for them. Whether it’s a playful day outside running around with my dogs playing fetch or a rainy, gloomy day where I was feeling down my dogs were always my best friend. Their comfort is unlike anything else and I truly feel they know when something is wrong with people and having that companionship is so helpful. We as humans may have multiple pets throughout our lives, but our pets only have us for their short time with us. It’s our responsibility to provide them with all of the love and care in the world. Their lives revolve around us and what we do, they deserve to live their best lives while they’re here with us. I treat every animal as if they were my own! I work full time dog sitting and couldn’t ask for anything better! The best coworkers anyone could ask for! Multiple drop ins a day and many, many walks throughout the day! I treat every pet as if it were my own! Each fur baby gets individual attention as well as time to play with the others pups. I can keep them separated if/as needed. Each individual pet will be taken care of according to the owners preferences!

About: I am very dependable and have lots of experience pet sitting. I have watched dogs with disabilities and health issues. I am trust worthy and love animals. I graduated William Woods University with an equestrian Science degree and have experience with all types of animals. I have my own transportation and am willing to stay over night.
