My dog is all muscle, and very excitable, so not everyone is comfortable walking her. Josie was a natural! It gives me great peace of mind to know my furbaby is in good hands, and I love getting her updates and photos. Highly recommend Josie !

About: I LOVE animals of all sorts. I've personally had cats for 23 years. I also have a bunny. I have taken care of other people's dogs for the past few years, and have been cat-sitting and house sitting for about 15 years. I am currently working full time but able to make my own hours at work, to make sure that there is adequate time for your furbaby. I provide tons of snuggles, attention, walks for dogs (or cats if they are trained to do so) at your preference. Available for walks, drop-ins and overnights. I am currently unable to care for your pets in MY home because I have 2 cats and a bunny, but I can provide tons of affection, clean their litterbox and/or yard poops daily. If your dog or cat is playful, I am happy to engage with them in that way as well to exert energy.

About: I currently own 3 energetic dogs that adore! I am responsible for all aspects of their care. I have also dog sat for friends and family in the past. I am a graduate student so there are some times that I am not available, but most weekends and early morning and nights I can be available! I usually have breaks between classes that I can be available to check in on or walk your pet. At a client’s home you can count on me to make sure your animal is safe, loved, and cared for. I will do everything in my power to make sure the animal feels comfortable and not too out of routine.

Donna is EXCELLENT with my dogs Charlie and Buddy. They're Maltese-Shih Tzu mixes, 7 and 3 years old, and they absolutely love her and they walks she takes them on. I've watched her with my boys and based on what I've seen, would highly recommend Donna to anyone looking for a walker with a great temperament and strong skills at dog handling.

Taylor was great! She came over the day before to meet the doggies. Even though the times I originally requested were a little difficult for her schedule that day (it was last minute,) she did all she could to make it as close as possible- and ended up being there about the time I had requested anyway. I scheduled two visits in one day, and while I said the second visit only needed to be a feed and let out in the yard - she asked if they could still go for a walk. :) She was also very observant and noticed a small scratch on one of my dogs, sent a photo, and asked if I wanted her to treat it. I really appreciate all the attentiveness; and the above and beyond she provided for my babies. Most importantly, the dogs seemed to really like her too. :) We are already planning for her to return. Thank you!

About: I have been around pets since I was a kid. I did take care of elder dogs in the past time. I did dog-sitting the puppies. I had experience with foster dogs and my housemate in the past. I have experience with deaf dogs myself. My family and I raised a deaf dog; she is now at peace. I am currently working from home. About: I took a very active role in caring for my family dog until he tragically passed from cancer in 2019. I have also dog-sat for neighbors’ pets with particular dietary needs. Currently, I’ve been told by roommates that I have a very calming presence with our house dog. I work part time primarily in the evenings and when not working, I often have community theater rehearsals on weeknights. During the Mizzou school year I will have some classes during the day, though for no more than a few hours at a time. My current house is not available for pet boarding unless specifically negotiated. The property has a non-fenced yard and one resident dog, who does behave well with other animals. Neighborhood is safe, well-paved, and walkable.

About: We’re back! We took a break to have our two wonderful children and now we’re ready to take care of your pets again! My husband, Josh, and I are a team. We have been pet sitters for family and friends for many years. We love animals and we always treat them like our own. We both grew up in homes where our pets were like another family member and we grew up as animal lovers. We are unable to bring your pet to our home or stay the night at your home, but we would be willing to come to your home any time during the day to take care of your pets when you are away. Whether that is for a vacation, business trip, or when you are unable to make it home from work to let your dogs out to go potty. Brittany is a 4th grade teacher and Josh is a medical vendor. Our schedules don’t align so we are available at different times giving us a wider range of availability for you and your pets. We treat your pets and home with respect. We are able to drop by to take care of your pet or take your dog for a walk.

About: I am a vet student at Mizzou who is open to becoming your go-to person for pet-sitting needs! I am very flexible and willing to negotiate whatever you need to feel comfortable while you are away. This summer I am working at a research facility in which I am only there a few hours a week. So my schedule is pretty open! I live in a duplex house located Northeast of COMO. I'm more open to in-house visits rather than pet sitting where I live, but I'm flexible.

About: I’m a dedicated dog lover with years of hands-on experience providing personalized care for dogs of all ages and needs. Whether it’s training puppies, caring for senior dogs, or just giving plenty of attention and exercise, I make sure every pup feels safe, happy, and loved. I also volunteered at the Central Missouri Humane Society while attending college in Columbia, where I worked with dogs of all temperaments and gained experience handling a wide variety of personalities. With me, your dog will be treated like family, and you can count on reliable, attentive care every time. Pet care is a priority in my daily routine. I allocate specific time slots each day for feeding, walking, playtime, and any additional care tasks based on each pet's needs. This routine ensures consistency and allows me to provide the best possible care while balancing other responsibilities. Additionally, I schedule regular check-ins and updates with pet owners to keep them informed about their furry friend's well-being. In my home, I provide a safe and comfortable environment for pets under my care. This includes designated areas for eating, sleeping, and playtime, as well as access to outdoor spaces for exercise and bathroom breaks. I adhere to any specific feeding schedules, dietary restrictions, or medication routines outlined by the pet owner. When caring for pets in a client's home, I prioritize maintaining their familiar environment and routines. I follow the owner's instructions meticulously, ensuring that their pet's daily schedule, including feeding times, exercise routines, and any medical needs, are faithfully observed. I also strive to keep the home tidy and secure, respecting the owner's space while providing attentive care to their beloved companion.

About: I have about 3+ years experience with watching / taking care of dogs. I’ve had my fair share of experiences knowing what they can and can’t eat and what questions to ask regarding a dogs diet. I have experience staying over night with dogs (at my place or theirs), going over to their place and taking care of them for a few hours, and of course walking dogs. I’ve had experience taking care of older dogs, about 13+ years old, and younger ones, roughly 4-5 years old. I am currently working on a thesis for graduate school and my schedule is rather flexible. I have time most mornings, afternoons, and evenings to take care or watch over dogs. I am also able to dog sit at the owners place if need be. I live with my parents so I probably wouldn’t be bring the dog home too often, but I’m pretty active and would take dogs on walks throughout the day. At a clients place, I like to chase them around for a bit at times and play around with them occasionally. I have a lot of energy so I have no problem with younger dogs.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Hinton. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Hinton.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Hinton. On Rover:

  • 95% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 91% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
