About: I use to work at a dog daycare called playful pack and I have also grown up with dogs and cats for most of my life. I can work anytime on weekends, on Tuesday I can work from 1pm-12am. I am very flexible with my schedule, so just ask and i’ll see what I can do. When dog sitting or walking, I first take in account of your dog’s behavior and make adjustments. For example, if your dog gets hyper around other dogs i’ll choose a place to walk the dog in a more isolated place. I also want your dog to feel comfortable and not threatened in anyway so i’ll work with your dog to be more comfortable with me.

About: I have worked in professional pet care for 4 years and have been watching neighbors dogs for the past 2 years. At doggy daycare I have worked with all sizes and ages of dogs and am comfortable with all of them. I am currently and student at The University of Missouri but am still able to come to your house to watch your pet. I can stay at your house during the week or weekend, my classes are during the middle of the day so they can go out plenty of times in the morning and night. I have three dogs at home that I am very used to taking care of as well as my cat. I can follow your pets schedule so there is no difference in your care and mine.

About: Hi, my name is Becca. I live with four dogs, two Yorkies(Cocoa and Buddy), a Pit mix and a Beagle (Doobie and Maribel)! I love to play in the backyard with them and take them on walks. I think that it’s important to show dogs you care about them, by spending time with them. I enjoy long walks especially with dogs, it’s more fun when you have a furry friend with you! I am currently in paramedic school. My classes are mostly in the mornings, but my schedule is pretty flexible during the afternoons on week days. I have a fenced-in yard, and all dogs have plenty of toys to play with! I often run around in the backyard with them to help get some of their energy out!

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life! I grew up with a mini dachshund and cared for him as he got older and became a senior pup. I’ve also cared for other senior dogs, and I have a special love for them, they deserve all the extra snuggles and attention. I also got a puppy when I was younger, so I know how to keep up with all that energy! With experience from puppyhood to senior care, I’m comfortable walking dogs, giving them plenty of love, and making sure they feel happy and safe. I recently moved to the area and I am looking for something to do. My schedule is pretty open and would love to fill it with pet care. When caring for a client's pet I always make sure to follow any rules the client has given me. I make sure they get plenty of love, attention, and snuggles while also keeping up with their feeding schedule, potty breaks, and walks.

“Taylor was great! She came over the day before to meet the doggies. Even though the times I originally requested were a little difficult for her schedule that day (it was last minute,) she did all she could to make it as close as possible- and ended up being there about the time I had requested anyway. I scheduled two visits in one day, and while I said the second visit only needed to be a feed and let out in the yard - she asked if they could still go for a walk. :) She was also very observant and noticed a small scratch on one of my dogs, sent a photo, and asked if I wanted her to treat it. I really appreciate all the attentiveness; and the above and beyond she provided for my babies. Most importantly, the dogs seemed to really like her too. :) We are already planning for her to return. I have six cats of my own and foster medically fragile/behaviorally challenged cats from the Humane Society. It brings me so much joy when I see a cat truly start to thrive again. Because of how long I’ve been caring for animals, I’m experienced in providing a wide variety of care. Your puppy is still crate training? I can help! Your senior four-legged friend needs medication? About: My experience with pets started at an early age, as there has never been a time in my life where I haven’t had at least one dog and cat that I absolutely adored and took care of. From fostering kittens to attending the hounds around town walking program for dogs- I’ve had a pretty wide range! I’ve completed a socializing program with my prior local humane society, pet sat many of my friends and family’s’ fur babies- as well as currently taking care of my three sweet cats! I would love to meet your pets and share some love when you aren’t able to! It brings a lot of joy to my life :) I’m currently a medical professional employed in the Columbia community but have pet sat as a side gig for many years as a way to connect with the community, meet other local pet parents, and love on others pets as if they were my own! My schedule varies and is often open the entire day. I would love to fit some pet sitting/walking opportunities into my life when I’m able! Taking care of your pets in your home is completely up to your preferred method! Every pet parent is different and I will make sure to tailor that experience to the sitting. Details and communication are the most important thing .

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and other animals my entire life, and I recently worked at a small animal ICU. Due to this, I am fairly comfortable working with all sorts of dogs and temperaments, and could recognize any problems that may arise with the pet! I am currently taking classes part-time at a vet school, so I have plenty of time to play with and take care of your pups! I will vary how I take care of the pet based on the animal! I love wrestling, playing with, and running around with the young pups, but I also love a calm snuggle sessions for the less energetic babies!

About: I have been around pets since I was a kid. I did take care of elder dogs in the past time. I did dog-sitting the puppies. I had experience with foster dogs and my housemate in the past. I have experience with deaf dogs myself. My family and I raised a deaf dog; she is now at peace. I am currently working from home. My schedule has some flexibility that I can take care of other things such as taking care of pets. I always make sure the pets feel safe and secure in their space. I care about their boundaries in their daily routine and develop relationships with their pets.

About: I’ve been a relied upon neighborhood pet sitter for dogs, cats, chickens, and reptiles for at least 12 years. Ive also fostered “bottle baby” kittens on and off for my local humane society for 3 years. I have learned how to read the body language of and understand the needs of many species of pets, and I understand the importance of listening to human direction while working with pets. I am currently between jobs and about to engage in a short term Americorps VISTA position out of state between June and August. I often pick up local volunteer shifts at the Central MO Humane Society and at Columbia Center for Urban Agriculture, however my schedule is very flexible. I am very experienced in working within clients’ homes, whether it has been for pet sitting, house cleaning, or even entering homes to provide social services. Every home and homeowner is unique, and I pride myself in my ability to leave spaces at least as wonderful as I find them.

About: When I was younger we raised Pit Bulls and I was very involved with the raising, training and caring for them. As an adult I have had several small breeds thru the years and loved every one of them. I also had a cat for 18 wonderful years and several horses thru the years. They are all like my kids! I work from home most of the time (I'd say about 80% of the time). Occasionally find myself needing to work onsite in Columbia or the surrounding areas. I would not schedule an overnight during those times just so I can be sure to give 100% of my time to our guest. I live out in the country but we do not have a fenced yard that would contain a dog. My littles go out on a tether most times however we do walk the country road on leash and we frequent the dog park in Fulton. I would be sure and hand walk your baby throughout the day. My two littles are the center of my universe. I have a long haired Doxie and a Pomeranian mix, both males both fixed and utd on all their vaccinations. I believe that dogs are to be spoiled and loved on as much as possible. My guys go where I go, they sit on furniture, sleep in my bed and run the house. When I am not home they are secured in one room of the house with tile floor just in case of accidents. I have a lot of love and time to give to any guest we may have in our home.

About: I have taken care of my own pets and others almost my entire life including feeding and watering, giving medicine and shots, helping with birthing, and bathing. I seem to just be able to get along with almost all animals which definitely helps for my desired field. I can go out and play with animals, stay in and relax with them, or do a little of both. I am a student and I am currently taking summer classes, but they are mostly online so I will likely be able to schedule around them. I do also like to workout and do some activities with friends, but I can schedule around that some as well. This fall I will be full time student at MU so I will not be able to do most things, but I may have gaps then that I could fill. I do not currently have pets at my home in Columbia, only in Sedalia. Back in Sedalia, we live more in the country so my dogs have full range of wherever they want to go. They go in and out as they please but we always make sure they have food and water when they are home. They get lots of lovin's when they are home as well. Here in Columbia I will only be able to sit at the owners house and I can follow however they would want me to take care of their animal(s). I love to pet, play with, and cuddle with animals so any kind of care or environment works for me.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was little. I've been an animal lover since I was born. I am ver patient and do good with animals. I am available on weekends and weekdays when I'm not working. Just text me and I'll let you know if I am available. I can walk even when it is a bit dark. I always make to check on them every once in awhile to make sure they are good. I make sure to give lots of cuddles. For dogs, I make sure to occasionally see if they need to go outside. Water is always available.

About: I am currently a veterinarian assistant at the MU Small Animal ICU and have experience dealing with animal emergencies! I have been trained to administer all sorts of medications and treatments and I know how to deal with all kinds of animal behaviors! I have also dog-sat, house-sat, and farm-sat for multiple families over the past five years! I’m currently working part time at a vet clinic, along with my class schedule, but I will have plenty of time to give your pups the best care needed! I have flexible hours and can work any and all days, provided you’ve given me enough time! My passion is animals! About: I'm Registered Veterinary Technician and have over 10 years of experience taking care of pets. Ranging from puppies and kittens all the way to hospice care for geriatric pets and everything in between! I'm currently working part time and have daily availability to spend lots of time with your pet! I start every morning taking care of my own pet and would be happy to do the same for yours! I'm happy to take them on walks, play with them, or just be there to provide comfort as well as basic needs such as feeding and potty breaks.
