About: I've had a passion for taking care of animals since I was five years old. My love for dogs, in particular, has always been deep, especially because of the way they love you unconditionally. At 14, before dog-walking apps even existed, I started my own dog-walking service. This experience taught me so much about responsibility and the bond between humans and animals. Additionally, I volunteered to clean out kennels at local shelters, which only fueled my desire to help animals in any way I can. Taking care of dogs has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I can't imagine it any other way. Now that I have my own property I can't think of a better way to help my community than to be taking care of their animals. I am currently working a full time job and I am available on the weekends. Friday, Saturday and Sunday would be the days I would be open. I have a fully fenced in yard, with a lot of room for dogs to run in. I also own a mini schnauzer that loves to play. If your dog requires to be separated from other dogs I have a area I could close them off in as well.

“Excellent work. Good reporting while I was away. The cats had nothing but good things to say about Lucy when I asked them.”

“We want to give Jennifer 5+ stars review if possible. She is really amazing, she treats my Sonic like her own! Strongly recommended, very very helpful and professional! Thank you so so much Jennifer, really appreciate it!”

About: Professional Pet and House Sitter Are you looking for a loving, responsible, reliable, and trustworthy sitter to care for your pets and home? I have experience as a professional pet and house sitter, which also includes years of being blessed with pet companions and owning and maintaining several properties. Know that your pets will be well loved, cared for, and given the attention that is required while you are away if you choose to hire me. One of my pet sitting highlights was a position for five months in Vieques, PR, caring for four cats, a garden and home. During this time I donated my services weekly at the Humane Society walking dogs —as it lights me up to give back to the community. I work from home and have a wonderful background in coaching, wellness, and business. If you need any additional services, please inquire. (Phone calls, mail, security, transformational life coaching, sober companion and recovery mentorship - in addition to regular rate.) As well as a background in pet sitting and property management, I also have worked in holistic health, energy work, spirituality, recovery mentorship and life coaching. Now that I have raised my child and no longer have any pets of my own, it gives me great joy to care for those you love. References available upon request. Thank you for your consideration. Why I love dog sitting Dogs have been a part of my life for the past 40 years. As a young child my family had toy poodles and a Lhasa apso. Later in life, I was blessed with a Husky and three Cocker Spaniels that accompanied me on life's journey. Growing up, we were also blessed to share the company of several cats as well. They were mostly outdoor adventurers...but also enjoyed quality time with our family. Sharing time walking dogs at the Vieques Island Humane Society in Puerto Rico during a five month visit was a highlight in my life. It gave me an opportunity to work with a great variety of breeds as their shelter houses 100+ dogs (with another 50 in foster care). I also took a lot of great photos and helped them gain greater visibility for their shelter. It was rewarding to make a difference while there. I am known to be a bit of a mystical nomad because of my love of travel. Dog and house sitting on this adventure of life has helped create a lifestyle that allows me to pursuit my passion for exploring this beautiful world. I work from home and love animals (with currently none of my own), so happy to share love with your fur babies! It brings me joy to be outdoors and share walks, so they will be sure to enjoy some play time too! Please share with me details that make your pets feel loved and comfortable. Let me know how to best keep your little ones happy, the level of attention that works best for them.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was very young. My family had 4 dogs and I recently bid farewell to two senior dogs that both lived until they were 16 years old. I’ve also catsit dozens of times and fostered kittens. I’m great at cleaning, feeding, giving affection, and administering medication. I'm currently in-between jobs so I have plenty of free time available. I am a graphic design freelancer. I'm flexible! We can negotiate and talk about schedules. Currently my offerings will be to housesit, catsit, and dogsit. My care involves walking your dogs, feeding them at whatever time you prefer, making sure they always have water, and giving them lots of pets and hugs and play. For cats the same, I will play with them, feed them, give them cuddles (if they’re more aloof I will respect that too), and clean their litter box twice a day. I can also plantsit and provide any extra services needed.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. Originally from Brazil, I’ve taken care of pets not only in my country, but also Egypt and the US. I treat them with my entire heart and soul, since animals to me are much better and deserving than humans. I currently have a small pet (mostly caged but he roams around) and live in a building with tons of dogs, so only contact if your pet is friendly with others! I build my schedule around my clients so I can stay full time if needed. If not, I’m often at home and won’t be gone for more than 2hrs. I have a little caged animal that some pets love to interact with, but in case your furry is not good with others, it’s very easy to have them separated and I have experience with it. I have a balcony, my building has a dog area and I love walking around my neighborhood. I’m also happy to sleep over your home if this means more comfort for your pet.

About: I lived with dogs and cats when I was born. My family loves pets so I keep leaning pet caring knowledge from them. Now, I raised my own dog Piepie, a longhair mini dachshund! I am an animal and pet lover. Sometimes I feel I am one part of them. I know about how to take care of them, how to feed them medicine correctly, and what does each reactions mean. I am very cautious and patient on treating pets to ensure they are happy and safe! I’m currently working part-time two days a week. So I am very free on schedules Monday to Sunday! I am also very flexible on morning and evening. I will walk your dog on time and observe his/her daily routine. I will kindly ask details of request and the pet’s habits and try to be friend with them. I will not take my dog with the pet I care without allowance of client.

About: I worked at a dog/cat daycare and boarding facility for 3 years so I know dog/cat behavior, safely protocols and procedures well, and I am passionate about their wellbeing. I am currently working part-time so I am pretty flexible with my time and availability. I also love going on walks so having a pup with me would make it a lot more enjoyable. I will follow the instructions provided to me. I also love to give extra affection and attention when wanted and or needed. I am familiar with administering medications if needed.

9. Jacqueline B.
“Jacqueline was one of the best House Sitters to ever sit my place. The house was left clean & tidy... and my Cats were calm, relaxed & well cared for upon my return. She also drove a car and kept it in good shape. While on the sit, there was a problem that required re-welding the car door. Jacqueline followed through with the repair and stayed calm, cool & collected in the process. She exemplifies the Loving-Kindness Life focus I was looking for. Our weekly communication during the 5 months was detailed and organized. Jaqueline's Great with animals. As a volunteer, she took the dogs from the Humane Society here on Friday afternoon walks. Dependable, Tidy, Kind, Giving and Solid would be apt descriptions of Jacqueline. I'd be pleased to have her House Sit for me again. ”

“Alex lives with three cats and two dogs. Of which, three of the cats and one dog was a stray before his family found them on the streets. He had been helping taking care of them, including putting effort in helping them be able to trust humans again. He has provided great care of my dog when I was on a vacation.”

20. Sonya N.
“Sonya is an amazing dog sitter. She has so much experience with so many dogs that I’m more confident in her care for my dog than many of my family members. She is so calm and knows dogs so well that she doesn’t overreact to doggie drama (mine gets lethargic when I’m gone), but she also is highly competent in an emergency. I even trusted her to navigate tricky dynamics between my dog and my daughter’s dog for a week. I also have known her since she was in high school and I know her family, and she’s implicitly trustworthy, timely, and reliable. You are lucky to have her watch your dog!”
