About: My name is Sabrina and I’m currently a student at Mt. SAC enrolled in their Vet Tech program. I love all animals and am very passionate when it comes to caring for and bonding with every animal I encounter. I am a certified animal handler and have experience working with various types of animals. I have had many pets of my own in the past and currently own a 2 year old terrier named Bentley 🐶. I currently have a break between school and my secondary job which makes summer perfect for my Rover schedule! I have open availability and am very flexible and understanding when it comes to booking services with me. I am very communicative and will compromise with any busy schedules that may be a concern to my clients! My house has a backyard that is fenced and gated up all the way around the house to ensure safety for your pet. Plenty of room in the backyard also for your dog to play and run around but there is also a park walking distance from my house where we can go as well!

About: Professional Pet and House Sitter Are you looking for a loving, responsible, reliable, and trustworthy sitter to care for your pets and home? I have experience as a professional pet and house sitter, which also includes years of being blessed with pet companions and owning and maintaining several properties. Know that your pets will be well loved, cared for, and given the attention that is required while you are away if you choose to hire me. One of my pet sitting highlights was a position for five months in Vieques, PR, caring for four cats, a garden and home. During this time I donated my services weekly at the Humane Society walking dogs —as it lights me up to give back to the community. I work from home and have a wonderful background in coaching, wellness, and business. If you need any additional services, please inquire. (Phone calls, mail, security, transformational life coaching, sober companion and recovery mentorship - in addition to regular rate.) As well as a background in pet sitting and property management, I also have worked in holistic health, energy work, spirituality, recovery mentorship and life coaching. Now that I have raised my child and no longer have any pets of my own, it gives me great joy to care for those you love. References available upon request. Thank you for your consideration. Why I love dog sitting Dogs have been a part of my life for the past 40 years. As a young child my family had toy poodles and a Lhasa apso. Later in life, I was blessed with a Husky and three Cocker Spaniels that accompanied me on life's journey. Growing up, we were also blessed to share the company of several cats as well. They were mostly outdoor adventurers...but also enjoyed quality time with our family. Sharing time walking dogs at the Vieques Island Humane Society in Puerto Rico during a five month visit was a highlight in my life. It gave me an opportunity to work with a great variety of breeds as their shelter houses 100+ dogs (with another 50 in foster care). I also took a lot of great photos and helped them gain greater visibility for their shelter. It was rewarding to make a difference while there. I am known to be a bit of a mystical nomad because of my love of travel. Dog and house sitting on this adventure of life has helped create a lifestyle that allows me to pursuit my passion for exploring this beautiful world. I work from home and love animals (with currently none of my own), so happy to share love with your fur babies! It brings me joy to be outdoors and share walks, so they will be sure to enjoy some play time too! Please share with me details that make your pets feel loved and comfortable. Let me know how to best keep your little ones happy, the level of attention that works best for them.

“Lucy did a wonderful job of taking care of my cats, Annaleis and Earl Grey. She arrived as agreed each day and cleaned the litter box and refilled their food and water bowls. She took the time to feed treats and play with Annaleis. I would definitely recommend Lucy to anyone in need of a cat sitter and plan to use her again in the future.”

About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience with a wide range of pets. I grew up with large herding dogs, so I’m very comfortable handling big, high-energy breeds. I have gone through multiple training courses I’ve learned effective ways to keep dogs engaged, exercised, and well-behaved. I understand the different needs and personalities of both cats and dogs. Whether it’s puppy training, senior care, or managing pets with lots of energy, I bring patience, consistency, and a genuine love for animals. Daily exercise and mental stimulation are really important to me, so I always build in time for walks, play, and enrichment activities to keep my pets happy and healthy. I care for pets the same way I would care for my own—with patience, consistency, and lots of attention. At my home, that means daily walks, playtime, and making sure pets get both exercise and mental stimulation. In a client’s home, I follow their established routines so pets feel comfortable and secure, whether that’s feeding on a schedule, sticking to training cues, or keeping up with walks and play. I always tailor care to each pet’s needs and personality, so they feel safe, loved, and well cared for.
“Cami had taken care of our sweet Tabby Carly since we moved to La Puente last May and she is absolutely wonderful! Always on time, goes to lengths to develop a relationship with our shy kitty and an excellent reporter!”

“We had a last minute request - Katie & Chunghan saved the day for us. They welcomed our kitten with open arms, kept us informed and sent videos while we were away. Thank you both so much !”

“Katya was responsive and communicative from the moment I reached out through the end of her petting sitting for us. She cared for our cats and tortoise while we’re away for a long weekend. Katya cared for our pets like they were her own, sent us photos, and shared about how they were doing. If we need pet sitting again on the future, we will definitely book her again!”

“Tyler made my first time using Rover a wonderful experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of my kitten. My kitty can be very shy and fearful, but she warmed up to Tyler right away — she truly has a way with cats. Tyler consistently sent photos and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing my baby was well cared for. She went above and beyond, and I would absolutely book with her again and recommend her to others.”

“Beverly will love your dog like her own! I was sad to leave behind my dog but she sent lots of updates and went above and beyond. She spent extra time giving him more pets and fetches. Really a gem of a dog walker! Thank you Beverly!”

“We were apprehensive about leaving our kitty due to her age and health. Karen was great with the kitty and kept us informed daily with updates and pictures. While we missed our kitty when we were gone, it helped that we felt she was being taken care of by a competent and caring sitter.”

About: I’ve always had pets on and off since I was a little girl. While I don’t have any currently, I still enjoy being around them by pet sitting for my friends and taking them on walks. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and even have some experience with bunnies! I’ll give your fur babies the love and attention they deserve :D Here’s a joke: Why did the dog sit in the shade? I’m pretty flexible with my availability since I can work from anywhere! I’ll be able to give your pets all the attention they need! “Chloe did a wonderful job looking after our 16-year-old cat who can be afraid of strangers. Chloe kept our litter box clean and went the extra mile to make sure our cat came back in at night to protect her from critters and coyotes. Our cat was happy and safe when we came back from our trip and we are grateful for Chloe's care and responsibility. She also came right on time on the date we had set to meet prior to our trip. Will have her look after Bambee next time. Thank you Chloe.”

Hillgrove cat parents share their Rover experiences
I couldn’t be happier with the care provided! All three of my cats were clearly well looked after and comfortable. The sitter followed all my instructions perfectly, gave them playtime, and even took the time to share detailed updates and adorable photos. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the pets she watches. I especially appreciated her attentiveness, she noticed everything, including when Tobi had a little upset tummy, and handled it so thoughtfully. I’ll definitely be booking her again for future drop-in visits. Highly recommend!
