Why I love dog sitting Dogs have been a part of my life for the past 40 years. As a young child my family had toy poodles and a Lhasa apso. Later in life, I was blessed with a Husky and three Cocker Spaniels that accompanied me on life's journey. Growing up, we were also blessed to share the company of several cats as well. They were mostly outdoor adventurers...but also enjoyed quality time with our family. Sharing time walking dogs at the Vieques Island Humane Society in Puerto Rico during a five month visit was a highlight in my life. It gave me an opportunity to work with a great variety of breeds as their shelter houses 100+ dogs (with another 50 in foster care). I also took a lot of great photos and helped them gain greater visibility for their shelter. It was rewarding to make a difference while there. I am known to be a bit of a mystical nomad because of my love of travel. Dog and house sitting on this adventure of life has helped create a lifestyle that allows me to pursuit my passion for exploring this beautiful world. I do work part time as a vet tech and would love to pet sit, take your furry friend for walks and give them loads of love! About: I’ve always had pets on and off since I was a little girl. While I don’t have any currently, I still enjoy being around them by pet sitting for my friends and taking them on walks.
