About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10, starting with my own Maltese, Snowball, who I’ve raised since he was a puppy. From walks to bath time to snuggles, I’ve been hands on every step of the way with the support of my family. Over the years, neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me with their pups too, knowing I treat every dog like my own. I’m attentive, patient, and happy to care for senior dogs, small breeds, and playful pups alike. I work a part-time job at my college on Wednesdays, but I’m available to sit any other day of the week! I have lots of time to give your pup attention, playtime, and outdoor walks. I’m especially free for boarding on weekends and weekdays after 2pm. I have a fenced yard and a sweet older dog named Snowball who gets along well with dogs, cats, and children. At my home, I make sure pets are fed on time, have fresh water, and get plenty of affection and attention. I love keeping their routines consistent and providing a calm and safe space. If I’m caring for pets in your home, I will follow your instructions closely to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve been a dog walker for several households in my neighborhood. I’ve been an active participant in dog training since I was 11 (taking dogs to training classes and learning how to teach commands via the clicker reward system). I also have experience cat sitting. I am currently a doctoral student at the university of Maryland, so I am free anytime after 6 PM on week nights, and my weekends are flexible. I also tend to run early in the morning (usually by 6 AM) if you’re dog would like to join me I can certainly make that happen, or I’m happy to include them in the warm up or cool down if walking is more their speed ! I have a fenced in backyard if your dog wants to hangout here for the day. I also have a playful 2 year old cat who LOVES his canine buddies! He also enjoys playing with other cats, he’s never met a person or animal he didn’t like! However, if your pet is more of a Lone Ranger there is ample space to separate them as well.

“We are first time users of Rover, and Hailey did a great job with our cats. Their diet requires some preparation, and she did a great job. She made visits professionally, on time, and kept in touch with us. She was never afraid to seek clarification and additional directions if needed and conducted herself as a professional at all times. We will definitely be using her again if she's available!”

About: Growing up my family always had dogs and cats and as an adult I grew to love to care for them. My love for dogs and cats landed me my dream job a cage less 24 hour doggie daycare, boarding and grooming facility. I worked there for 15 years and loved every minute of it. Since working with dogs for such a long period of time I honestly couldnt see myself doing anything else which is why I am now a full time dog walker. If you’re looking for a new friend for your dog or cat Im your girl! I love all dogs no matter the breed or size, I don't discriminate I LOVE THEM ALL! I have experience in walking all different types of dogs with all different kinds of walking styles. I walk dogs with leash aggression, dogs who just like to sniff the ground, dogs who just like to walk and look around and dogs who don’t like to walk at all. I am not a dog trainer, but with my experience, I am very knowledgeable in dog behavior and body language. My schedule is pretty open and flexible. I am typically available starting at 7am until 3pm Monday-Friday. I am also open to other hours depending on location and amount of time needed for your visits Holidays are also available for all services with price increase. I feel that it is important for our pets to be cared for in an enviornment where they feel the most comfortable and stress free. Weather Im coming over for a walk or a slumber party I promise to treat your space like my own.

About: I've owned dogs and/or cats for most of my life and I’ve been boarding and dog walking for the past 4 years. I have a large yard and I enjoy taking long hikes on my neighborhood trail and beyond. My children are aged 13, 15, and 18. They are respectful, loving, and playful with the dogs/cats that we have cared for. I work part time as a preschool teacher. During the school year I work Tuesday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. So I am available to take dogs out for walks in the morning, afternoon, and evenings. I have a house with a large fenced in yard and an energetic hound mix that loves to play and run. Dogs are allowed on the furniture. There is space for a doggy bed and I feed the dogs separately. I take the dogs out on two 15-30 minute walks a day. I also take them on a half day/all day hike once or twice a week.

About: I’ve owned dogs my entire life, and recently lived with a cat whom I assisted caring for in my last living situation. I currently co-own 3 dogs of all different ages, breeds, and sizes, and I love every minute of it (and have all my life). Given my deep love for animals, am dedicated to treating each pet with the utmost level of care, respect, and integrity. I have experience caring for puppies, middle aged dogs/cats, and senior dogs/cats and eager to assist in caring for yours :) I currently am transitioning careers and have ample time for visits and walks. I love exercise and I love animals and with this downtime I have currently, I have availability mostly everyday for a range of different times. I will be unable to have dogs in my home given one of my dogs doesn’t do well with animals he is unfamiliar with, but when it comes to supervising pets, I am very attentive and always keep an eye on and engage with them while I am in the home/yard. I tend to be paranoid, and therefore am extra attentive when outside given pets can manage to escape from even fenced in yards from time to time. Because I am currently co- raising a puppy, I am used to keeping an eye out for destructive behavior and accidents.

About: I’m excellent with caring for dogs and cats. I’ve had multipe cats and dogs growing up and currently own a bunny and two cats who I adore. I love to play with animals and give them love and attention. I also was an animal shelter voltunteer as a teen and cared for lots of animals - bathing, walking, and playing with them. I have experience walking and caring for small and large dogs (I don’t scare easily). I also have experience with walking strong pulling dogs. I’m happy to give your cat or dog a bath / brush their fur. I’m happy to accommodate special requests if your animal needs extra care. I’m an animal lover and I hope you’ll let me care for your special friend!

“Katie did a great job with taking care of my dog while we were away. On time, gave her meds, and send me a bunch of cute photos. I will definitely ask her to next time I am away, and I would recommend her to anybody! Thank you!”

“Ashli did a great job dealing with a challenging situation that came up with my cats’ microchip feeders. She was communicative and worked with me to find a solution. I appreciated her willingness to go the extra mile to make sure my kitties would be safe. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and hope to call on her again.”

About: I grew up training my high energy German Shepherds, caring for my two cats, and now also caring for our cuddly Cavapoo! With 5+ years of experience caring for others’ pets, I am excited to expand my network here on Rover. As a recent graduate of the UMB physician assistant program, I am thrilled to fill my newfound free time with something I love- pets! Plus, as a former EMT with Pet First Aid certification, I’m prepared to recognize and respond quickly to any health emergencies that may arise. I’m excited to spend my summer with your furry friends! I’m available for pet care until my trip out of town (July 12–22), and then again until September 1st, when I start my new role in the ER. After that, my availability will be a bit more variable due to shift work, but I’d love to make the most of these next few months and help care for your pets while I can. Feel free to reach out, and let’s make sure your pet gets all the love and attention they deserve this summer! I believe that YOU know your pet best. I am adaptable to your preferences regarding how to care best for your pet. Above all else, I strive to treat your pet as well as I would treat my own- with lots of love and patience!

“We traveled to DC, with family and knew we would need someone to care for our little Chihuahua Corgi mix, Harley. I contacted Danielle and she responded right away. It was short notice but she was agreeable to do drop in visits three days in a row. She provided great care for Harley and we were able to relax and see the sights. One day I realized we were leaving earlier than anticipated and Harley would probably need to go out before I had asked for Danielle to take him out. I contacted her and she came earlier to make sure Harley didn't have to wait too long. It was great knowing Harley was in Danielle's capable hands! Her daughter and son were sweet and also very good with Harley. We couldn't be happier with the service Danielle provided. If you need care for your furbabies, she's your gal!”

Hillandale pet parents share their Rover experiences
Aniya was extremely accommodating, especially given I requested her services the day before I was going to be out of town on Saturday! She took time out of her Friday night to come over and meet Luna and was very understanding of the circumstances. 10/10 would recommend and would book again! Thank you, Aniya!

Madison helped me out at the last minute when my normal sitter fell through! She was willing to do a video call so I could show her everything while she was at work which I was super grateful for, and took great care of my kitty :) she even gave him his medicine and took him outside in his stroller. I’ll definitely book Madison again!

Ariane was great for allowing me to book her over the holidays with only a little over a week's notice. My cat is pretty antisocial and not keen on strangers so she didn't need to be here for the full 30 mins. Ariane was able to efficiently able to care for my cat's needs in 5-10 minutes for her visits which is good for my cat in this introductory period. I am confident that in the future as my cat grows accustomed to her, Ariane would happily stay longer and love on her. For now, Ariane knew how long to stay in order to take care of my cat and let her not feel alone while also not stressing her out excessively by having a stranger in that. Finally, Ariane prepared extra food and water for my cat just before the snow storm hit knowing that she might not be able to make it over because the roads would be unsafe. She kept me informed the entire time of what was going on which I greatly appreciate.
