“Sara was great! She let us know that my dog's nose was getting crusty so we could tell her how to treat it while we were gone. She was very communicative and sent pictures so we knew the dogs were well taken care of, and had no surprises upon return. We will definitely look to book her in the future!”

“It is really hard entrusting your furkids to someone you don't know since this was the first time using Ryan to stay with our senior & a puppy. Overall, communication was great, doggies well cared for and Ryan went above and beyond getting a stain out of the carpet. We wouldn't hesitate using him again to sit.”

“Liz was really great watching our dogs while we were at the rodeo. She was prompt and polite. We especially appreciated the updates she sent us while she watched our dogs. Would definitely use again.”

“Mark was absolutely amazing with our little guy while we were away for our wedding. Our senior pup, Sox, has developed a number of health issues recently, and Mark expertly handled all of his medications and needs. He sent us lots of pics and videos while we were away, and it was clear that Sox just adored him. It gave us such peace of mind knowing that Sox was in such good hands. We will absolutely be booking with Mark again.”

“Alexa was awesome! We came home to happy pups and a clean house as though we had never left. Alexa took them on walks, shared great pics and overall great communication. We will definitely be reaching out to Alexa for our next trip.”

“Shannon came to care for my fur babies with such short notice, she was here on time, my dogs immediately bonded with her, kept me informed with pictures and texts. I truly appreciate her.”

“Michael watched our 15 year old lab, Maggi, for 4 days in our home. We needed a sitter that could spend the majority of their time at our home. Maggi is on several medications, needs 3-4 short walks a day and can have “senior” moments. He completed all tasks, along with keeping plants alive, without a complaint. Michael also sent daily updates and some pictures. He met all of Maggi’s needs. We came home to a content, calm dog. We will definitely use him again.”

“Look no further! Cynthia is caring, thorough, communicative, and attentive. Ahead of our meet and greet, she sent me a list of excellent questions and topics for us to discuss that would help inform her stay at our home and care of our two dogs. She didn't bat an eye at my detailed list of information and our dog's needs. In conjunction with her lovely disposition, genuine care for animals, she was a fantastic communicator while we were away, and even kept tabs on our fish and cared for my flowers. She left our house incredibly clean and was such a blessing during our two weeks away - which is a long time to leave your fur babies! I feel so fortunate to have found her and am grateful for her care and extraordinary flexibility when I realized I had booked the wrong end date! Thank you, Cynthia!”

“Xavier is beyond great, he watched my senior dog at our hotel while we went out with family. He took her on walks, snuggled her and sent pictures. I ended up rebooking with him because he is so easy to work with. I highly recommend Xavier for dog watching.”

“Renee is amazing!! She watched our pups while we were out of town and was great with communication and loving on them ? she’s such a nice person and is all about loving on pups. Highly recommend and would definitely have her house sit again!”

“Kristi was AH-mazing with my pups. I have 2 big active dogs, and 1 senior dog, and she made all of them feel comfortable, loved, and active. She sent so many pictures of them enjoying walks, swims, and treats. They also felt so comfortable with her they always wanted to lay right on top of her to get as close as they could. She did a phenomenal job, and I am so thrilled she will be watching them on all of my other planned trips. ☺️”

About: Having grown up with a variety of pets myself (growing up sort of on a farm in the country), I have over 20 years of dedication pet care experience. I have also had 10 years of experience pet sitting for cats/dogs/chickens/ you name it! From playful puppies to senior cats, I ensure all pets in my care feel loved and safe. Whether I am administering detailed medical regiments or following specialized diets, I take care to deliver the best service to owners and families while they are away from their four-legged family members. I am playful, fun, gentle, and nurturing. My approach combines plenty of walks, cuddles, and play time! I work full time but am finished with my work day on Wednesdays and Fridays by 3pm, and Tuesdays by 4pm. I am available weekends and love being active with pets who love to walk/run or chill at home with pets with lower energy. I make sure to keep to a pet’s routine when you are away as it can be stressful for them to not have their primary person there! I adapt to their schedule. I follow their lead: if they are feeling anxious or aloof I never force myself because I want to ensure they feel safe and cared for.

About: Life-long dog owner, lover and trainer. My Aussie, Huck, is an experienced and friendly host. We host one guest dog at a time. I work from home. The yard is fenced, and there’s a handy window for watching the neighborhood. We enjoy hosting and caring for social dogs, and help them feel part of the pack while you're away. There’s walking, running and playing catch, and car rides for those who like them. I work part time from home, and have lots of time for dogs. I typically take them with me on short errands if they enjoy that. We like our guest dogs to feel like they’re staying with a friend, and keeping the routine they’re used to as much as possible. Ideally, our house is a place they’d be happy to come back to.

“Allison was delightful. From the meet ‘n greet we knew it was an excellent fit. My pups LOVE her and she had excellent communication through the time she dotted our pups. She also left our home better than she found it. We’ll definitely utilize her services again!”

“Deb was very communicative with us and took her own notes about our requests for her. She did a great job spoiling our dog, but luckily our dog was still excited to see us when we returned. ? She left our house clean and followed all instructions. We will definitely be asking Deb to pet sit for us again.”

“Sam was super sweet with our dog and respectful of our home during pet and house sitting. Even when our elderly dog had a couple of her typical accidents in the house, Sam sprung into action. We trust him with our dog and our home. Great person!”

Christina D.
“Christy is very responsible and keeps to the schedule required. She goes above and beyond with the dogs she takes care of. She walks them often, plays with them inside and out, and has a good rapport with all the dogs she's taken care of. She's good with following directions of the owners and is very affectionate with dogs. I have taken advantage of her services many times in her former hometown and know that she was the coveted dog sitter for many people, as well as the favorite of the dogs themselves. They went nuts when she came to stay. Christy will be the favorite again where she's moved to (she was very sorry to move away from her clients and their dogs). She loves big dogs especially, but is exceptional with the the littles as well. Christy brings the best out in every dog she's met. She comes highly recommended!”

Highlands pet parents share their Rover experiences
Alexa stayed in our home and took great care of our doodle, Copper. She made sure he got regular walks—which he loves—and kept in touch with timely updates. She also brought in our mail and packages, which was much appreciated. The house was clean and tidy when we returned, and it was clear Copper had been well cared for. Alexa was trustworthy, responsible, and kind. We wouldn’t hesitate to have her watch Copper again!

Kenzie did a fantastic job! She was very communicative, responsible and trustworthy. Our house was just as clean when we got home when we left it and all the animals were happy and well cared for. Would definitely ask her again to housesit. Should the need arise. Thank you very much, Kenzie!

What a FANTASTIC first experience with Rover. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for my dog. This was the first time leaving my dog with somebody I did not know. And she made me feel at ease. She sent many updates with photos of their daily shenanigans and it definitely gave me peace of mind. I highly suggest anybody looking for a sitter. You do not need to look any further.! Thank you for such an awesome experience. I’ll be back for your services in the nearest future.😀

Cydney really understands Cinder’s needs and personality, constantly sending videos and photos of a very happy pup! Her professional and predictable approach leaves me free to travel without worry! Communication has been timely and detailed throughout, outstanding sitter!

Paola was absolutely wonderful and very communicative and kind. She provided detailed descriptions of our pup’s care each day. She took her on adventures to the dog park and long walks in the park. I could tell by the pictures she sent that our dog was enjoying Paola’s company very much. She stayed at our house and left the place spotless. I would highly recommend booking with Paola and will definitely do so in the future!

Michael stayed in our home with our two senior pups for a week. One of our pups has special needs and requires medication. Michael did a great job and was very responsive when we contacted him. He took great care of our home too. We have booked him again already!
