“Overall awesome dude!!! I was super nervous with leaving my dog Opihi under the care of someone who isn’t me bc she is dog reactive so I almost didn’t do it but I’m so glad I did!! Opihi loves Joshua and when I come home she’s a super happy pupper. Joshua is also great at communicating and keeping me update on Opihi with pictures and videos! Definitely recommend for dog walking (:”

“Michelle was great. Arrived early to meet Carter and took great care of her on her walk. It was a short notice booking as my other walker had to quit doing Rover and left me in a bind until Michelle bailed me out. Booked her all the days she is available.”

About: I love and welcome pups of all breeds, sizes, and ages. I grew up with owning many amazing cats and dogs (Dachshund, Chihuahua, Pitbull, English Mastiff, Rottweiler, & Mixed Breeds), and I also have experience watching many different breeds (such as Great Dane, Labrador, Corgi, Golden Retriever, Chihuahua & Many more). I have experience working at a doggy daycare and I have also volunteered at animal shelters by helping taking care of dogs and cats, so I am comfortable around animals of all breeds and sizes. I enjoy being outdoors and would love to care for your beloved pet and get to know them! I have a flexible schedule and would be happy to schedule a time that works well for the both of us.

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs since I was a teenager and currently have a 7 year old Jack Russel terrier. I have a lot of experience with dogs that are easily skittish or a bit aggressive. I currently work from home so have all the time in the world to care for your pet! I don’t have a set schedule so I can be flexible. I have a fenced in backyard. I am careful to make sure your dog is always leashed up and is safe for a walk or boarding.

About: Hello, my name is Zel. I’m a of 2 mom, a animal mom to a snake, rooster, & 2 dogs. I am also a vet assistant and groomer. I have been boarding dogs for 10+ years now, and I have cared for animals every since I was young especially dogs. We are a animal household and we take pride in making sure every animal with us has the best care and experience. Feel free to message me with any questions if your interested in boarding, grooming or training services. I’m a stay at home mom and I have 10+ years of boarding experience, so I will be available to your fur babies throughout the day. I’m also a vet assistant and groomer. All pets in our home and care are treated with love. We take pride in making sure all animals have the best treatment wether it’s our pets or our clients pets.

About: I am a student with animal hospital experience and a big heart for furry friends. I can administer medication, first aid, senior care and puppy care. I am currently part time, Monday-Wednesday, therefore have plenty of open availability / time for overnight house sitting and drop in visits or extended stays. I will always prioritise the safety and security of not only your pets / family but your home during my visits. I am very detail oriented and cautious about safety.

About: Hello there! My name is Jen, and I'm thrilled to open my heart and home to your furry family members. Having shared my life with pets since my early adulthood, I understand the joy and companionship they bring. Although our beloved Golden Retriever, Stilton, crossed the rainbow bridge two years ago, our home misses the love and energy that only dogs can provide. I've also had the privilege of fostering through a rescue, a chapter that recently closed but left us with countless cherished memories. Working from home grants me the unique opportunity to be a constant companion to your pets. I'm an active individual who not only enjoys taking multiple daily walks but also relishes the adventure of hiking. Your pup will not only receive attention and care but will also have the chance to get some exercise. I work from home so your pup will have constant companionship. I have two kids, ages 6 and 10, who will be around before and after school. I have school drop off and pick up between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. and 2:50 to 3:30 p.m., so any drop-offs and pick-ups will need to be around those times. I have a fenced-in yard and a doggie door that goes out to a separate doggie potty place. When walking your dog, they'll be kept on a leash. If they stay overnight, we'll talk about what's best for your pup and make arrangements accordingly.

“While I was recovering from an extensive surgery at home Victoria and her daughter came to walk the dogs everyday at least 2-3 times a day on time and stayed with my dogs for the whole visit- when the dogs would come home they were always very happy and tired. Her daughter and my Labrador built a great bond and I love knowing how much they are cared for. I finally feel I found the perfect team to help care for my dogs when I need.”

About: I LOVE animals of all kinds and have lived alongside one for as long as I can remember. I am so drawn to them and adore their company. I have been on the Rover app for over 5 years now, I’ve volunteered in shelters, cat sanctuaries & before that would watch family, friends and neighbors pets! I am open to providing any services you’d like when it comes to taking care of your pet. We will spend lots of time together, I will be feeding, playing, keeping them company, giving them lots of love, going on walks and administering any medication if needed. I will take in your pet as if they were my own and consider them to be my number one priority. It doesn’t matter if your pet is extremely shy, super friendly, or if there are multiple, I am happy to assist however I can in helping with anything you need! I also have experience with anxious pets so no worries at all if you feel yours may need more time to warm up to people. After looking after so many different four-legged friends over the years, ranging from dogs and cats to fish & reptiles, I can say that I am very confident when it comes to caring for animals. I really connect with them and understand them. Some might call me the pet whisperer hehe I mostly provide house sitting services, drop-in visits and walks. House sitting gigs work best for me, that way I'd be staying overnight in your home with your pet(s). Alternatively we are also happy to board here in our family home, we have a big yard for your pet(s) to run around in and lots of space for them to explore inside our home. (Not to mention my family are also animal lovers!) However I will say, the only thing with boarding is that we do have cats so as long as that’s not a problem, reach out and I'd be more than happy to help you with what you need. You should expect plenty of photo and video updates throughout the stay! Once you’ve reached out, we can start by arranging a meet and greet so that we can ensure it’s a good fit. I am currently pet sitting full time and have a really flexible schedule. Whether you’d like me to look after your pet overnight or just in the daytime, like I said above, I am available to house sit or board, regardless of the length of stay. I also accept longer bookings that last a few months at a time so if you need to leave town for a longer period, no problem at all! If you have any questions, requests or concerns, please don’t hesitate whatsoever to reach out and I will get back to you asap! I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s), - Grace :) *Previously ‘Grace & Selina’* My schedule is very flexible as I now do this full time, so I am always available to keep an eye on the pups, play with them and give them plenty of attention! I will take care your pet and your home as if it was my own. I will leave your home the way I found it.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, growing up on a cattle farm where there was never a shortage of wagging tails and muddy paws. Big or small, shy or silly — I love them all. I’m not fazed by the messier parts of pet care (poop, pee, or even a surprise throw-up… it happens!) and I’m quick to jump in and clean up so your pup can get back to feeling happy and comfortable. My goal is always to make dogs feel safe, loved, and at home — whether that means a belly rub, a game of fetch, or just sitting together for some calm company. I’m available 24/7, so I can work around your dog’s routine — whether that’s early morning walks, midday playtime, or late-night snuggles. Your pet’s needs come first, and I’m happy to provide flexible care whenever you need it. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priority. My home is pet-friendly, clean, and set up for plenty of play and relaxation. I keep a close watch on every pup to make sure they’re happy, healthy, and never in unsafe situations. Whether it’s cuddle time on the couch or supervised play, your dog will always feel safe, loved, and part of the family while staying here. I’ll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can relax knowing your best friend is in good hands.

“Alex was very reliable, responsible, and friendly sitter. She took the time to come by ahead and introduce herself. She sent photos and a diagram of where she took Marlie for a walk. We were visiting Yellowstone and w/o cell service, I was still at ease everything was ok. I recommend Alex and would use her in the future if we are in the area.?”

I do have a job and an apprenticeship so I won’t be able to stay 24/7 but I can stay overnight for dog sitting! Provide playtimes Insure food and water bowls are fresh, clean, and full Make sure to clean up all pet waste and clean up after accidents

Highland Hills dog parents share their Rover experiences
Tatiana was great. We hired her for 12 days straight, as I needed to travel and my wife was tied up with new born twins. It was 6:30Am moring walks with two dogs at once.. She showed up early and on time every single day!! The dogs loved her and I would recommend her to others looking for a dog walker.

Nova was an awesome choice! She was patient with my slow walker and had amazing communication skills. I had to reschedule the walk due to something that came up, and her flexibility was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend! She was easily the best dog walker I've had an experience with.
