“Gabby was very responsive, caring, and flexible. She was engaged with the dogs during their stay and patient with our shy girl. She's also willing to take on this extra responsibilty during a busy holiday season. She is the best!”

“Desirae was absolutely wonderful and treated our pup like family. Her and her family are super sweet and she would send us pictures and keep us updated on how our girl was doing. It was our first time leaving her with a sitter since we adopted her. It was hard leaving her for the weekend, but it helped knowing that she was on good hands. Thank you so much Desirae!”

“Whitney was incredible good with my little one. She took care of him very well when I was sick. And Tokyo had a great time with her dog Feather. She sent me lots of pictures and lmk all the time of how was my dog, and I appreciate that very much. Thank you Whitney!!!”

“Lauren provided excellent care for Bryce. She regularly sent photos and videos of him throughout his stay with her. Her yard is large and fenced in so plenty of space for your pup to zoom around. High recommend her for your dog sitting needs!”

“THE BEST! Michelle and her son are the SWEETEST. So easy to talk to and very communicative. We are so happy we found Michelle . Unfortunately, our previous sitter can no longer watch dogs. So we have tried to find a sitter that matches her love and treated our girl like her own. Our doggo was even so sad when she got home. I'm sure she missed Michelle and her sweet son. She had such a great time being spoiled and playing all day.”

“Pamela was fantastic! My dog is usually super clingy and a bit nervous in new environments but the minute we got to Pamela’s house he acted like he lived there. He honestly didn’t even notice I left. Plus Pamela sent me daily photos and updates on how Remi was doing. Easy 5 stars, would confidently let her watch Remi again!”
“We have had our dog now for a second time and we couldn’t be happier!!! Our dog has so much fun with her and enjoys a lot his stay with Michelle. She also constantly sent me updates with lots of pictures and videos! It was really a great experience booking with her so I highly recommend Michelle!”

About: Hello, my name is Cav and I am a professional dog trainer and K9 handler with extensive experience working with all breeds in high-standard kennel and training environments. I have experience working with complex nutritional needs, medical requirements, and individualized care plans for dogs of every age and temperament. I am committed to providing a safe, structured, and nurturing environment that serves as a trusted extension of your home. I welcome the opportunity to discuss your dog’s specific requirements in detail and to develop a personalized care program tailored to their needs. All dogs are cared for all day with multiple opportunities to play outside, go on walks around our 5 acres and play with other dogs depending on temperament. Dogs will receive multiple break times throughout the day, averaging every hour to 2 hours and can spend as much time outside as they would like with a fully fenced in dog specific area. Pictures will be sent each night of boarding around 7pm and once per day of day care. 30 mins of structured exercise daily is included in all boarding and we strive to make your dogs feel right at home. I have a full fenced in dog specific area that directly connects to my basement setup where dogs will have the ability to spend time out of kennels and play with other well mannered dogs if you would like. I am available any day of the week with a few days notice and around most holidays as we do not travel for most throughout the year. Please message me with any questions and I would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
“My king was loved so much! We got tons of cute pictures throughout our time away. Most importantly, Kingy was worn out once he returned home, so I know he got all of his playful energy out and had lots of exercise and play time!❤️”

“Thomas, Elizabeth and their pups did such a wonderful job housing our two dogs! We received updates with images daily and felt confident in our choice. We definitely will book with them again!”

“Lauren is great. We have boarded our dog with her twice and we feel confident that our dog will have a safe and pleasant home stay with Lauren and her family. Recommend Lauren without reservation.”

“Jennifer was so great and easy to work with and our pups came home so happy. We will be sure to use her and her family again. Thank you again for taking great care of our pups.”
“Our dog has stayed with Linda numerous times, and each has gone incredibly well. Linda does a great job taking care of the dogs and providing periodic updates and pictures throughout the stay. My wife and I would highly recommend Linda for her services!”

“Michelle was absolutely amazing! I couldn’t recommend anyone more for your dog sitting needs. We are very thankful we had her available to watch Mocha! She gave great updates and provided lots of pictures.”

“Rocky was terrific watching our sweet Zoe! Taking her on walks, the beach and even inviting her to watch a playoff football game with him (she is an Eagles fan). We could tell by the pictures and video he shared that we were not missed. We truly appreciate his kindness and care. He is Highly Recommended! From Zoe: “Thank you, Rocky, for taking such good care of me!” Steve & Teena.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly can't imagine life without them. I currently have two dogs and three cats, and I've been caring for pets for as long as I can remember. My home has a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play, explore, and burn off energy while always being supervised. I know every pet has their own personality and routine, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable, loved, and secure while you're away. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playing fetch, cuddling on the couch, or simply relaxing, I'll care for them as if they were my own. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is happy and well cared for. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide plenty of one-on-one attention, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. I can accommodate your pet's normal routine to help them feel comfortable and stress-free while you're away. Whether it's a weekend stay, daytime care, or drop-in visits, I'll make sure your pet gets the love and attention they deserve. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my highest priorities. I have a large, fully fenced yard for safe, supervised outdoor play, along with two friendly dogs and three cats who are accustomed to being around other animals. Every pet is introduced carefully, and if your pet is more comfortable having their own space, I'm happy to keep them separated. I'll follow your pet's feeding schedule, exercise routine, medication instructions, and any special requests exactly as you provide them. I'll also send regular photo and video updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is safe, happy, and treated like family. I know how hard it is to leave your pet, so I make it a priority to send updates, photos, and videos so you always know how they're doing.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WV ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
