“I recently went on vacation for almost two weeks. I was nervous leaving my kitten with someone had he had a bad experience already. Kyla understood and gave me daily updates and reassurance on how Louie was adapting. It was comforting knowing another cat/dog lover was watching my little guy. About: Hi! I am a 20 year old college student, who would love to be considered for taking care of your furry friend! I grew up around a lot of different animals, but abundantly dogs , which allowed me to gain a lot of experience with them. Since I was a young teenager I walked and did check-ins for families with one to multiple dogs, and eventually did one or two over-night doggy-sitting! I have experience in taking care of puppies and elderly dogs as I grew up in a home where we regularly fostered dogs of those ages. I give the dogs I take care of the love, attention and respect I would give to my own. My schedule allows me to be quite flexible with fitting in pet care into my schedule. To make sure I give your dog the attention and care needed, I would love to schedule an appropriate amount of time ahead. Generally speaking though, I would plan around your pet! I follow the rules and expectations set by you! I do ask everyone who’s dogs I take care of to give me a list of do’s and don’ts because not every dog is the same. I also make sure to ask for typical behavior and moods for the dogs, so that if something is potentially wrong, I am able to identify it!

9. Becky E.
About: I have been around dogs all my life and I worked in pet stores for 4 years. My parents have had a Jack Russell Terrier for 15 years that I’ve helped care for. I have dogs and cats which I have raised from a very young age. I live on a 10 acre wooded property with lots of space for running, playing and long walks. I also have experience with sugar gliders, rats, hamsters, ferrets and other small animals. I love animals, the more the better! I work from home and my availability is mostly flexible. I am currently self-employed and have flexibility to offer pet sitting and caregiving services in my home or yours. My day always begins and ends with pet care! I have an acre of my 10 acre property fenced off and available for dogs to run and play, with crates indoors ready for rest time. I also offer care in your home according to your needs.

10. Sara S.

“Sara was fantastic! She took amazing care of my 5 kitties. She kept me updated on how they were doing after each visit and made sure to provide photos of all of them. I was also very happy to hear that my very shy cat who tends to hide from everyone came out each visit and was happy to say hello and get some pets. I would definitely recommend Sara and book with her again!”

11. Gary & Maryann C.

“Gary & Maryann are wonderful with my 2 month old puppy! They were extremely understanding and flexible when we had a mishap causing us to have to change the time of our scheduled visit. They send pictures and let me know how she was during their visit. I know she’s in good hands with them! Thank you both so much!”

20. Rosalee K.
About: I grew up taking care of all kinds of animals including chickens, goats, cows, pigs, and of course cats and dogs. I’ve independently cared for animals since I can remember! I am a student at Virginia Tech with a pretty flexible schedule. I have time in between my classes to be able to let your animals outside or just spend time with them! Because I live in an apartment, I unfortunately cannot house animals with me in my home. However, I am happy to take them on walks and hang out with them at their home.
