About: It all started at 15 years old working at my first doggie daycare. That experience and passion led me into watching family/friends animals for years. During college I started to work for an exotic animal hospital and fell in love. I’ve roughly had 3 years of experience in a clinical setting between jobs. But I’ve been working with animals since before I can remember! I’m currently a full-time scientist that works Monday-Friday. I’m fortunate enough to get the afternoon to myself for a few hours to walk and hangout with the animals! I typically like to watch owners animals in their own home. I’m in the process of working towards offering boarding in my home. The pet is always more comfortable and relaxed when they’re in their own home!

“Ryan and I adopted our dog on Earth Day 10 years ago - he is an adorable black lab who was born with rheumatoid arthritis. This was unknown to us when we adopted him and many families may have just put him down rather than go through the testing to diagnose and the years of medication to keep his life comfortable, but that was never an option for us. We were told Lucky would not live past 5 years of age - now he's recently turned 10 and he is as healthy and happy as could be. Dogs are our passion - we love to give them attention and spoil them when they visit. I am fully supportive of my wife's decision to open our home to "furry guests". About: Friendly, calm, patient and prompt...this is what you can expect out of me when taking care of your pet. From dogs and cats to reptiles, fish, and birds, I have experience taking care of all of them! I also have experience with senior animal care and giving medicine. I have gardening experience as well and can offer basic plant care services. I do have responsibilities during the week that require advance planning when making a care schedule. On weekends, I have greater flexibility to accommodate most schedules. In my home, we treat our pets like members of our family. Their care and well-being is so important to us, especially while we are away. We have two adopted dogs that deal with separation anxiety. I know how about the stress it can cause for both you and your pet to be apart. When you have to be away, I am happy to provide the same loving care to your pet as I would want for my own.
