She was very conscientious with their care. One has to be fed wet food every 3-4 hours and with the help of an automated feeder and ice packs, she managed his schedule wonderfully. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been personally responsible for my own dogs for the past 14 years. I currently have three dogs at home and have experience with everything from small breeds to large dogs. I also have extensive experience caring for dogs with medical and senior-care needs. One of my dogs developed Addison’s disease at a young age and later battled cancer, so I became very comfortable with administering injections and medications, managing chronic health needs, and caring for a dog through chemotherapy, arthritis and mobility changes. As he got older, we adapted his routine so he could still enjoy walks and activities safely and comfortably. About: Coming from an animal loving family and already volunteering part time at the Humane Society, I just can’t get enough of walking dogs — especially big ones ! My family’s dog, a total mixed breed that we raised from a puppy, is a modest 80 lbs. Before we got him, I grew up with a border collie and a cattle dog mix, so I deal well with high energy breeds.
