About: I’ve lived with pets (cats and dogs) since I was born, and I’ve been caring for them my entire adult life. In my spare time I am a volunteer at a local animal shelter. I have experience with senior dogs, puppies, large dogs, small dogs, chill dogs, energetic dogs, and everything in between. I am comfortable with training techniques and understanding animal body language and cues. I am a teacher by trade, so I am very organized, dependable, and patient. I have a very open summer. There are some camp drop offs and pick ups I need to account for this summer, but outside of that, the days are wide open. At my house I have a dog friendly medium sized dog. I have a six foot fenced yard. I also have the capability to keep pets on different floors or in different areas if they need space or privacy. I know how to be respectful of other people’s homes and am very comfortable adapting to different pets’ needs, especially since volunteering at the shelter.

Whether it's broken up into different times of the day with a break in between or a full 8 hours non-stop, entirely depends upon when clients need availability. The number one most important thing about pet care is communication though. Between the owner and me. The sooner we know things, the better. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I currently provide care exclusively in my clients' homes because I believe most pets are happiest and most relaxed in their own familiar environment. Staying in their home helps keep their routine consistent, reduces stress, and allows me to focus entirely on giving them the attention, affection, exercise, and companionship they deserve. About: All my life, I have bonded with both dogs and cats, and animals in general. I have been told that I have an ability to connect with any animal effortlessly. While I have been dog-sitting for friends, family, and others for about four years, I also have worked as a Caregiver at CARE STL, an animal shelter in St. Louis. I am friendly but will be serious when needed to properly care for the dog. Your dog will always be the top priority. I will follow all instructions left by the owner, while also having fun your dog. I can take them on walks, to the park, and even swimming! I have a car to get whenever I need to be and I am always on time. While this will be an extra job for me I will be sure to treat it like my only job!
About: I have had a dog my entire life growing up. My parents relied on me to take care of my childhood dog and I learned so much just by doing that. I am now 30 and got my own puppy about four years ago. I lover her so much! I give her biweekly baths, daily walks and hourly playtime! Whether it is a walk, daycare or overnight stay, you can trust me to love and care for your pup! I am a teacher so I have the summers off to take care of your dog! I like to wake up early and take my own dog on a walk to start my day. I have a very free and flexible schedule! I have a fenced in yard and mini Bernedoodle who loves all dogs! I am very responsible and my house and yard are extremely dog friendly.

I believe in meeting animals where they’re at and making sure they feel safe, understood, and happy. I also have two friendly dogs of my own who love meeting new friends, so your pup will have the option to socialize if they’re comfortable with it. Whether your dog is a cuddler, a ball-chaser, or somewhere in between, I’ll make sure they feel right at home. If your pet needs extra medical care, I’m experienced with that too. I currently administer fluids to a friends cat and regularly handle medications and fluids through my wildlife care internship. I’m confident, gentle, and always follow instructions closely to make sure your pet stays healthy, calm, and comfortable.
