About: Cats have always had a special place in my heart. I absolutely adore their unique personalities—from the chatty, attention-loving cats who want to be involved in everything, to the shy ones who just need someone patient enough to earn their trust. One of my favorite parts of caring for cats is learning what makes each one happy, whether that's playtime with a wand toy, a quiet lap to nap on, or simply sharing the same room together. There is nothing better than hearing a happy purr, getting slow blinks of trust, or being greeted with a little "meow" when I walk through the door. I believe great cat care is about much more than food and fresh water. I'm meticulous about keeping litter boxes clean, paying attention to changes in behavior or appetite, and making sure every cat feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I'll happily spend time playing, cuddling (if they want it!), brushing, or just providing calm companionship. My goal is for your cat to feel like they're spending time with a friend—not just someone stopping by to check a box. I'll also send plenty of updates and photos, because I know how reassuring it is to see your furry family member happy, relaxed, and purring while you're away.

“Sara took great care of both my cats, Jasper and Ella. She even went back to check on Ella when she was hiding, and sent me photo confirmation that gave me peace of mind. Reliable and caring highly recommend.”

“Barb was great to work, she really helped break the ice & listened / learned our situation in the beginning. Barb is very reliable & VERY good with our cat. Communication is excellent. Thanks for everything Barb, i look forward to seeing you in the future!”

“Our normal sitter had a family emergency right before the holidays, and we are so thankful we found Kate in time for our kitties! Two of them need daily medications, and we have had hit or miss luck with different sitters (not from Rover) in the past, but all the cats loved her (even the one that normally hides!) and they all seem to be very relaxed and not panicked when we got home this time! We will absolutely be using her in the future and recommending her to friends in the area!”

“Our experience with Melanie was fantastic! She communicated clearly and consistently, sending daily updates and adorable photos & videos that kept us reassured. Our cats absolutely loved her—and it’s easy to see why. She’s truly awesome!”

“Tiffiny is such a kind person as well as her daughter. You can tell she loves animals and will care for your babies as she would care for her own. Most importantly she uses the Rover app and communicates effectively leaving notes and confirmation with every visit. She validates that your animals are well, eating drinking and in our case using the litter box appropriately. She went above and beyond and vacuumed around their litter box. Thank you so much for caring for our kitties. Love the Gunters and especially from Mac, Cheeto, and Biscuit!”

“Amazing cat sitter! Qiyun/Kiki was so accommodating when we had to book our cat Lucy on very short notice. She took great care of her, sending regular pictures and updates on how she was doing. I would rate her 100 stars if I could ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Definitely have your kitty stay here!”

“Danny and Jennie are the absolute best! We couldn’t thank them enough for meeting our high maintenance cat needs while we are out of town. They are the best and most trust worthy sitters we have ever had. This is my second time using them and I will continue to request them each time we need help! Thank you both!”

“First time using Rover and Liam isn’t used to strangers so we were both a bit nervous. Punctual; being right on time for the scheduled appointments, responsive with great communication and regular updates. The photos are a nice touch and helpful. Exceeded expectations. Thank you.”

“Having Linda drop in on my kitties everyday for 2 1/2 weeks has taken all the stress out of leaving them. Linda has been a wonderful pet sitter and their new best friend! Communication was excellent and I will definitely book her again.”

About: I have had animals my entire life, dogs, cats, gerbils, ferrets, mice, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish. I just love having animals and taking care of them. My job is flexible and I work from home most of the time so I can keep animals during the day and overnight. I will be able to take them on walks during the day. I can care for pets in my own home or come to your home to take care of them as needed. My back yard is huge and lots of room for dogs to run.
About: Charismatic and outgoing animal lover with 16 years experience owning pets, and hundreds of hours volunteering at the humane society in 3 different states. I grew up with cats, but could not own a dog until I moved out on my own, so I quickly got my first baby Alice the first chance I could. My fur babies include a 13 year old sweet beagle mix, Alice 🌈 and two gentle loving cats, Poppy and Millie. All of my animals have been around other animals their whole lives and get along with all creatures. I prefer not to board cats, but can keep your cat in a closed bedroom for their stay. I would love to open my doors to help out families in need of a more personal way to board their pets when they are away. Your animals must get along with cats and small children. I have a very flexible schedule so I have the ability to care for your pet throughout the day, depending on your pets individuals needs. My pets have free range of the house. Visitors dogs can be crated if needed or have free range of the house if ok left unsupervised.
About: I have taken care of all sorts of animals from a young age. Cat, dogs, small animals such as birds and hamsters. My love for animals came in childhood and I will offer the best care! I currently work a hybrid role with my company so I have time at home to take care of animals for those that are looking for the best options out there. I have a large yard and a neighborhood for walking. I have a fenced yard so outdoor playtime can be provided without worry. I have 1 cat in home and 2 children in the evenings to offer lots of play for family friendly dogs.
About: I have a lifelong passion for dogs and years of experience, including caring for seniors and special needs pups. I also have been a volunteer at Second Chance Ranch, a rescue for senior dogs. All new dogs require a meet-and-greet prior to booking. I specialize in calm, small-to-medium dogs up to 25 pounds (I will consider larger dogs up to 40 lbs if they are calm adult dogs who don’t pull on a leash) I am retired so will be with your pet most of the time. Occasionally I have to leave but never for more than a couple of hours. If you are a new client please use this code for $20 off your first booking LORRIM12299, https://www.rover.com/sit/lorrim12299 I’ll take great care of your pet—and give you peace of mind! Your pet will always be safe, whether on a leash, in the car with a seatbelt. I’ll send daily updates and photos, and we can address any concerns together so you can relax knowing your furry friend is in good hands.
“Holly is so kind and caring! My dog loves going to her house. She watched him for me while I am at work. I really appreciate her flexibility with my schedule since it changed every week. She send photos of my dog throughout the day to keep me updated. Super happy I found her and will continue to use her to watch my dog.”

“Sarah was amazing with my baby Soup! She is super friendly and very responsive. She took care of Soup like her own and sent lots of pictures and updates, which I really appreciated. I felt completely at ease the whole time. Highly recommend her! 😊”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied upon me to watch their dogs on many occasions. I work during the day, and able to watch dogs 3pm and after every day during the week and available during the weekends as well. I have a fenced in yard so we can play and hangout inside the house or outside with comfort. Always a good time with me
“Damica is trustworthy and excellent with my pup. Kya has come home tired and happy from daycare both times I have picked her up, which is exactly what I wanted! Damica is quick to respond and provides updated videos/photos throughout the day so I can see what Kya is up to. Will definitely rehire.”

“Angel was so great to work with! She was very communicative and she and her family took great care of our pup. She came home exhausted from a long day of play. Angel made sure to send plenty of pictures throughout the day as well! Thank you, Angel for the great care and peace of mind! ❤️”

“Alvin goes to Beth’s 4-5 days a week. It’s been a few rough weeks for Alvin. He had surgery 10/1 and had a cone/collar for 12 days. She was great with keeping him from scratching but still be playful. He learned how to scoop the ball with the cone! We absolutely love the care he receives with Beth and her family!”

Adventure-ready dog walkers - High Ridge
About: I’ve lived with pets (cats and dogs) since I was born, and I’ve been caring for them my entire adult life. In my spare time I am a volunteer at a local animal shelter. I have experience with senior dogs, puppies, large dogs, small dogs, chill dogs, energetic dogs, and everything in between. I am comfortable with training techniques and understanding animal body language and cues. I am a teacher by trade, so I am very organized, dependable, and patient. I have a very open summer. There are some camp drop offs and pick ups I need to account for this summer, but outside of that, the days are wide open. At my house I have a dog friendly medium sized dog. I have a six foot fenced yard. I also have the capability to keep pets on different floors or in different areas if they need space or privacy. I know how to be respectful of other people’s homes and am very comfortable adapting to different pets’ needs, especially since volunteering at the shelter.
About: We are both former English teachers who have nothing to do now that we’re retired. What better way to spend our time than to help you with your pets. We've had pets our whole lives. We're available to drop in and care for your pets. Our inspiration is our own experience with finding someone to care for our animals during vacations, obligations, etc. As teachers, we were trusted in the classroom for 30 years each. You can certainly trust us with your pets. We're loving, nurturing and would love to help you with your animals.
About: I used to pet-sit. Worked at a day-care a while ago. I've worked and interacted with all types of dogs. I enjoy what I do. I actually get really excited when working with dogs. I know they're a lot to handle sometimes but I feel like they're great fun to work with and they always make me feel better. My favorite types of dogs include Boxers, Miniature Schnauzers, Miniature Pinschers. I like all dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am really into playing fetch with dogs. I also don't mind playing with rope toys. They might tear my arms off but hey! It builds character! I'm very easy-going and I feel like with dogs you have to have a great sense of humor and enjoy the trade in order to work with them. I hope you consider me for some of your services. I look forward to chatting with you over the phone, internet, or in person! Also, I have a sweet little Mitten cat (her name is Mittens). She's a blue tortoise cat with these little white Mitten paws. My father has a black Maltese poodle named Beau... The sweetest dog in the world. I used to live with him and we were the best of friends. We still are. But we just don't see each other as much. That's who you see me with in my photos. I have pretty much open availability. I am comfortable doing overnight visits and morning/afternoon/evening walks. I'm currently in the process of trying to build clientele so I'm more flexible now than I might be in the future. But my long-term goal is to make this a full time 8 hour day. The 8-hour schedule block will entirely depend upon demand though. Whether it's broken up into different times of the day with a break in between or a full 8 hours non-stop, entirely depends upon when clients need availability. The number one most important thing about pet care is communication though. Between the owner and me. The sooner we know things, the better. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I currently provide care exclusively in my clients' homes because I believe most pets are happiest and most relaxed in their own familiar environment. Staying in their home helps keep their routine consistent, reduces stress, and allows me to focus entirely on giving them the attention, affection, exercise, and companionship they deserve. I'll also treat your home with the same respect and care I would my own. Whenever possible, I love to schedule a meet-and-greet before the booking begins. It's a great opportunity for us to get to know each other, for your pet to become comfortable with me, and for me to learn about their personality, routines, favorite activities, quirks, medications, and anything else that helps me provide the best possible care. I firmly believe that in pet care, overcommunicating is always better than undercommunicating. I'd much rather ask one extra question than make an assumption, and you can expect prompt responses, regular photo and video updates, and complete transparency throughout your time away. While I would be comfortable offering boarding in the future, I currently choose not to because I share my home with a beloved cat. My decision isn't out of concern for her behavior—it's simply because I don't want to bring unfamiliar dogs into her space. By focusing exclusively on house sitting, I can give your pets individualized care in the environment where they feel safest and most at ease, while ensuring every animal in my care is comfortable, secure, and happy.
About: Welcome! We are a passionate, animal-loving mother-daughter team ready to give your pets the royal treatment. My lifelong love for animals started with my childhood beagles, followed by a schnauzer, and has grown to include four dogs of my own, a guinea pig, a bearded dragon, and numerous fish! We are starting this venture this summer to help my daughter build her skills and chase her lifelong dream. Ever since she was 4 years old, she has wanted to be a veterinarian—she even has a master plan to build a vet practice and a petting zoo on the exact same property! I love her animal-loving spirit and want to support her dream in every way I can. We work as a dedicated team she will be taking the profits and placing them into her savings account), so rest assured that your fur babies will truly become our fur babies while they are in our care. We can't wait to meet your pets! As a school district employee, I am currently on summer break until August! This means my schedule is wide open, and pet care is my main focus right now. My daughter and I are home almost all day, allowing us to provide frequent potty breaks, constant supervision, and plenty of playtime. Whether your dog needs a structured routine, midday walks, or just lots of couch cuddles and companionship, we have the flexibility to match their exact needs. Once school starts back up in August, we will transition to evening and weekend care, but for the summer, your pup will get our full, undivided attention! Because our own dog prefers to be an 'only child' and a single-sibling fur baby, we exclusively offer care in your home! When you trust us with your pets, my daughter and I will treat your home with the utmost respect, exactly as if it were our own. For House Sitting, we adapt entirely to your pet’s normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. This includes their regular feeding schedule, medication administration if needed, and plenty of play and cuddle time. For Drop-In Visits or Walks, we ensure they get plenty of exercise, fresh water, potty breaks, and of course, lots of love. We also always make sure your home is secure before we leave and will send you plenty of photo updates so you can see how much fun we are having!

“We’ve been using Ryan’s services for several weeks now and our older pup Scooter loves her so much :) She’s very understanding of his health problems and treats him with care. Ryan is the best!”

“Bailey had been a huge help for my parents! I reached out to her asking if she could take on a new client within 24 hrs due to elderly parents health emergency. She responded within minutes and showed up on time everyday. My parent’s dog absolutely loves her and it has been a huge blessing for my parents during recovery. And for me being out of state, puts my mind at ease that she is helping in a way I cannot. I highly recommend her”
About: All my life, I have bonded with both dogs and cats, and animals in general. I have been told that I have an ability to connect with any animal effortlessly. While I have been dog-sitting for friends, family, and others for about four years, I also have worked as a Caregiver at CARE STL, an animal shelter in St. Louis. During my time at CARE, I fed, walked, played, and formed connections with over 100 dogs, as well as cats and other animals. After that, I started working as a server/bartender at Bar-K, to make money while still working in an animal-friendly environment. Since then, I have been a reliable, trusted, and consistent dog-sitter for many clients. The safety and care of any animal is always my biggest priority, and I promise that I will not disappoint! I currently am not working, as I have just recently graduated from Saint Louis University. In other words, I am more often than not, completely available to work anytime on Weekdays and Weekends. However, on June 1st, I will be starting an internship that requires 20 hours a week but my schedule is extremely flexible, as the internship is willing to adjust to whatever schedules I have. Because of my flexible availability, I am able to spend as much time with your fur baby as you would like me to. Whether it be cuddling, playing, or going outside, I will provide all of my attention and services to the care of your animals.
About: I love all animals. If you need a caregiver for your friend I'm the one. I'm opened to days/nights weekend and holidays. Will travel too. I currently only work one day a week outside my home, the rest I work from home I would love a friend to hang out with, or take a break with. I will provide a loving fun time for your pet. My dog died two years ago and I really miss having a pet to love. I'm also available for plant care I can work with your schedule if needed. I also do drop bys, too. I love getting out, walking, and playing with doggies, cat, and any pet. I have a new fence and it has a access with no steps for my older doggies. There is also ramps for those shorter dogs. We have lots of love and would to share it with your dogs.
About: As a performer who travels the world by sea, I know how comforting the love of an animal can be and while I’m away I miss that connection so much! I have loved, snuggled, and pet animals around the world and while I’m back on land I would love the opportunity to give your pets the same attention! I’ve had dogs my whole life and grew up in a home full of furry friends. My parents volunteer with Duo Dogs, so our house has always been a revolving door of puppies and big dogs alike. Two of our English Labs are especially sensitive to fireworks and thunderstorms, so I’m no stranger to calming anxious pups with patience, love, and a gentle hand. Whether it’s a walk around the block, a game of fetch, some cozy snuggle time, or maybe it’s your turn to get out and see the world, I’m here to keep your pets happy and cared for while you’re away. My schedule is wide open during my time home-so don’t hesitate to reach out and let’s set something up! Since I am taking a land break, my schedule is very open! I offer care in your home where your pet feels most secure and relaxed. I always follow your instructions closely, respect your space, and treat your home with care. You can trust that your pet will be loved, safe, and well looked after while you’re away.

About: Hi, I’m Bella - I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. From energetic labs to a calm shorkie to now a loud doberman husky mix, I have loved every second of it!. Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life, and it’s what inspired me to pursue a career in veterinary medicine (I’m currently in school to become a vet!). Whether your pup loves long walks or hikes, belly rubs, or just a cozy buddy to hang out with while you’re away, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I understand that every dog is unique, and I make sure to always be attentive to their needs, routines, and quirks. I’d be honored to care for your furry family member like one of my own! Whether it’s a quick potty break, a stroll around the neighborhood, or a long hike to burn off energy, I’m happy to make it work—just let me know what your dog needs! I always tailor my care to what each individual animal needs—whether that means creating a calm, soothing environment for a more relaxed or anxious pup, or providing a playful, energetic space for dogs who love to stay active and engaged. I believe in meeting animals where they’re at and making sure they feel safe, understood, and happy. I also have two friendly dogs of my own who love meeting new friends, so your pup will have the option to socialize if they’re comfortable with it. Whether your dog is a cuddler, a ball-chaser, or somewhere in between, I’ll make sure they feel right at home. If your pet needs extra medical care, I’m experienced with that too. I currently administer fluids to a friends cat and regularly handle medications and fluids through my wildlife care internship. I’m confident, gentle, and always follow instructions closely to make sure your pet stays healthy, calm, and comfortable.
