“My husband and I have never gone anywhere without our precious Molly. We have our son’s destination wedding to attend this month. We have both agonized over leaving Molly behind. A kennel or doggy day care was definitely out of the question. I had heard of Rover so we checked it out. Karissa is a Godsend. Her yard is perfect, she is affectionate and I know in my heart Molly will be exceptionally well cared for. We dropped Molly off this week for a trial day before leaving her a whole week. Karissa kept us updated with pictures and notes throughout the stay. Finding Karissa has eased our anxiety about leaving Molly. I highly recommend checking with Karissa if you are looking for a passionate, reliable sitter.”

“We were so grateful to have Jenna babysit our dog Jasper when we decided at the last minute to go into St. Louis. We are from out of town and the heat was just going be too much for him to go along with us. She treated him like one of her own thanks again!”

“Haley is wonderful, always giving me details as my little man's anxiety around new people and places lessens every day. As soon as I met her and her children I knew that they'd have a calming influence on him. So glad I found her!!”

“Alvin loves going to Beth’s every day! He is so in tune with morning routine of getting ready and out the door! He’s ready to go before I can get a cup of coffee. He loves being with the friends he’s made and all of the great exercise he gets! Thanks to her family for loving our Alvin!”

“Mozzy had a great time playing with other dogs during her stay, Rachell had a wonderful yard to play in and was very on top of maintaining safety and watch over our girl. We got lots of pictures and our Mozzy had a ton of fun and came home exhausted and happy!”

“Haley is the best! I was a very high maintenance dog mom this week because my puppy was recovering from being sick and she took amazing care of him! Thank you, Haley!”

“Nora provided photos and updates throughout the day and also gave Wilma a cute toy 🥹 I can tell my dog was super relaxed and happy staying at Nora’s, highly recommend!”

“Tiffiny did a great job with Van Gogh. She had him 3 days and made drop off/ pick up quick and easy. She has an animal psych degree so your pet will love it, and may even come back more well behaved. Id request her again next time Im in the area.”

“Sascha was great! She took excellent care of Miley and gave her lots of fun activities. I highly recommend her!”

“Elisabeth is fantastic! Our pup has been to several Rovers (we are full time RV’ers) and she is one we would definitely go back to and recommend. Our pup, who is typically very shy at first, warmed up right away. He was treated with play time, a walk, a bone to munch on, and attention. Elisabeth was quick to respond to messages we sent. 10/10!”

“Another great day with Jennifer and my puppy’s doppelgänger; her dog! 😍 My puppy even followed the other dogs into a baby pool for the first time.”

About: I cherished caring for our sweet Sophie for 18 years. As empty nesters, we're not getting another dog so we can keep some flexibility—but my love for dogs is as strong as ever! I’d be honored to care for your furry family member just as I did mine. I know how hard it can be to leave your dog, so you can count on regular updates and photos while you're away. To accommodate allergies, I can only host non-shedding dogs under 35 lbs. I work from home and am rarely out for more than a couple of hours, so your dog will have plenty of company, attention, and neighborhood walks. Feel free to share your pup’s routine and any special needs so I can give them the best care possible. First time Rover clients can get $20 off with this link: https://www.rover.com/sit/bhairavik I work part-time from home, so your pup will enjoy plenty of company and a schedule that fits their needs. Just a heads-up: to accommodate allergies, I’m only able to care for non-shedding dogs under 35 lbs. I’ll treat your dog like family and make sure they feel right at home. With no pets of my own, they’ll have my full attention and can roam freely indoors. If they prefer a crate, feel free to bring one. Walks are always on-leash—ideally with a chest harness—and I’ll follow their feeding and care routine closely.

About: Hi! I’m Jamie. I’ve been working with dogs for over 13 years & have experience with a wide range of breeds, personalities & needs. My passion is caring for medically fragile dogs, including those who are blind, deaf, or recovering from surgery. I’ve fostered over 25 different breeds of dogs (& over 50 dogs total) through CARE, APA, Even Chance Pit Bull Rescue & Unchained Melodies since I started fostering in college. I am very active in the rescue world and previously have served on a board for a nonprofit animal rescue, so very experienced with rescue dogs. Dogs I have worked with come from many different & difficult situations including hoarding cases, neglect, abuse & organized fighting. I also have experience with other animals including cats & bunnies. I currently have 1 foster dog. I am a teacher, so during the school year I am away Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 3:45. During the summer (June through August), I am home all day on Tuesdays & Thursdays and home most of the day on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays. Dogs fit perfectly into my summer routine & get plenty of time to run around my fenced-in yard or relax inside if they are at my house for daycare or boarding. If I am swinging by for a drop in or walk, dogs also fit perfectly into my daily routine and are treated as if they were my own. For safety, I do require that dogs who stay at my house be crate trained. I crate dogs when I am not home to provide a calm, secure environment. I also have a camera on them for the short amount of time I am away so I know that they are always safe. When I am not working, I am home & fully focused on the dogs in my care. While staying with me, dogs have full access to my fenced yard & my home, but they are never left unattended. Please note that I am happy to schedule a meet & greet, but during this time I do not allow dogs from other homes to meet each other. Any current dogs in my home will remain crated. This allows your dog to settle in safely before exploring a new environment & helps prevent any unnecessary stress. Pets are treated like family whether they are staying in my home or I am visiting them at yours. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable & well cared for at all times. I follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible to help reduce stress. This includes feeding schedules, potty breaks, medication if needed & plenty of playtime. I enjoy sending photo & video updates so you can stay connected to your pet while you are away. For boarding in my home, I send one update every 24 to 48 hours. If you prefer more frequent updates, just let me know during the meet & greet. For drop-ins & walks, I send an update after each visit with pictures & a quick summary of how your pet is doing. I always make sure they get fresh water, bathroom breaks & attention based on their needs.

About: Charismatic and outgoing animal lover with 16 years experience owning pets, and hundred of hours volunteering at the humane society in 3 different states. I grew up with cats, but could not own a dog until I moved out on my own, so I quickly got my first baby Alice the first chance I could. My fur babies include a 12 year old sweet beagle mix, Alice 🌈 and two gentle loving cats, Poppy and Millie. All of my animals have been around other animals their whole lives and get along with all creatures. I prefer not to board cats, but can keep your cat in a closed bedroom for their stay. I would love to open my doors to help out families in need of a more personal way to board their pets when they are away. Your animals must get along with cats and small children. I am only working part time and have a very open schedule right now so I have the ability to care for your pet throughout the day. My pets have free range of the house. Visitors dogs can be crated if needed or have free range of the house if ok left unsupervised.

About: I have been dog sitting/boarding for several years through Rover. We have a 4 year old Blue Merle Aussie, Maize. We have a 2 yr old Golden Retriever, Maggie. They have brought us so much laughter and love! My son, 21, lives at home with me and loves dogs. We also have a 3yr old cat, Jewel also. Because of our schedule someone is almost always home with the animals so they have very little time alone. I do work full-time out of my home and sometimes meet with clients at their business. I'm looking for friends for Maize & Maggie to play with. We would love to meet your fur baby and be her home away from home. I am currently working out of my home. I am home about 80% of the time. I sometimes meet my clients at their place of business, run errands and/or meet friends for lunch. I'm available for doggie day care from 8a to 6p Monday through Friday as well as overnight stays. My yard is fenced with a 6ft white vinyl fence. If our dogs are outside, we are outside with them. I spend most of my time at home and are outside alot with Maize. We go for walks and play ball multiple times a day. Fenced back yard - 6 ft white vinyl fence. Our fury visitors usually sleep with me. I have a gate on my bedroom door and can keep food and water in my master bath. Maize sleeps with Kyle. This allows for some good down time.

Bhairavi K.
“I’ve seen firsthand how deeply my mom cares for dogs. She not only lovingly raised our dog Sophie for 18 years, but she also would pet-sit for friends’ dogs and treated them like her own. In Sophie’s senior years, my mom went above and beyond, patiently cleaning up after her when she couldn’t always make it outside and preparing soft meals when Sophie lost her teeth. Her compassion, patience, and genuine love for dogs make her an incredible pet caregiver. Any dog would be lucky to be in her care.”

Jamie S.
“I highly recommend Jamie as a pet caregiver! She is very responsible and attentive to the needs of my dog Lincoln. Her expertise and extensive time working with dogs reinforced my decision to select her. My dog is very active and I was pleased to know that Jamie was not hesitant to take him on a four mile hike one day when Lincoln was particularly restless. I cannot wait to have Jamie care for Lincoln again!”
