About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, personalities, and backgrounds. I grew up with large-breed dogs and have loved dogs my entire life. When I moved out on my own, adopting a dog was one of the first things I did! I currently have three resident dogs, all of whom I trained myself. Two of the three have severe separation anxiety, so I'm quite well-versed in some of the behavioral traits that come along with that. For the past two years, I've also been actively involved in the dog rescue world by fostering. I've fostered 12 dogs ranging from young puppies who needed to learn the basics to adult dogs who came with more challenging behavioral needs such as resource guarding. These experiences have taught me to be patient, observant, and adaptable with every dog I care for. I understand that not every dog is going to walk into a new environment perfectly behaved, and I genuinely enjoy meeting them where they are and helping them feel safe and comfortable. Whether your dog is a playful puppy, a perfectly behaved adult, or somewhere in between, I'll treat them like one of my own. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away! I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule. My resident dogs still rule my daily routine. Your pup will get plenty of attention throughout the day/night and can have potty breaks as consistently as needed. I've house trained seven puppies over the past two years, so I'm very used to frequent potty breaks if that's something your pup needs. Otherwise, every 2-4 hours is pretty consistent with the routine my resident dogs are on. I've fostered dogs with a variety of different needs and have always worked it into my schedule. I want every dog in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and at home, so I'm happy to adapt my approach to each dog's individual needs and your preferences as a pet parent. I do have three resident dogs in my home, all of whom are extremely dog friendly. Ideally, dogs staying in my home will be comfortable around other dogs, but I understand that not every dog wants or needs constant interaction. I have a separate guest room that I've previously used for foster dogs who needed some quiet time or a slower introduction. If your pup needs their own space, they can have a dedicated area away from my resident dogs while still having plenty of company - I work from home, and the guest room also serves as my home office. I have an unfenced yard, so dogs are always taken outside on a leash. I also have a long line that allows fogs more freedom to sniff, explore, and play while remaining safely contained. Outdoor time is always supervised, whether your dog is staying with me or I'm caring for them in your home. When caring for a dog in your home, I'll follow your instructions and do my best to maintain your pup's normal routine, including feeding, medication, walks, potty breaks, and any other care they're accustomed to. My priority is always safety, communication, and making sure your pup feels comfortable and well cared for while you're away. I've had people care for my own dogs while I've been away, and I've experienced both sides of the spectrum - sitters who went above and beyond and sitters who left me wishing I'd been there myself. I know how important it is to maintain a dog's routine and give them the same care and attention they're used to. My own dogs are basically my children, so I know exactly what level of care I'd want for them. That's the same standard I'll bring to caring for yours!

Sarah was the perfect sitter for us. She communicated everything to us and gave us pictures and updates. Her house clean and comfortable for the dogs and a great yard for them to play in. Her dog was friendly towards our dogs especially our little dog. I loved the detailed report she gave us after picking them up. I grew up with cats, but could not own a dog until I moved out on my own, so I quickly got my first baby Alice the first chance I could. My fur babies include a 13 year old sweet beagle mix, Alice 🌈 and two gentle loving cats, Poppy and Millie. All of my animals have been around other animals their whole lives and get along with all creatures. I prefer not to board cats, but can keep your cat in a closed bedroom for their stay. I would love to open my doors to help out families in need of a more personal way to board their pets when they are away. Your animals must get along with cats and small children. I have a very flexible schedule so I have the ability to care for your pet throughout the day, depending on your pets individuals needs. My pets have free range of the house. Visitors dogs can be crated if needed or have free range of the house if ok left unsupervised.

Your pet’s well-being—both physical and mental—is always my top priority. I’m home full-time, so boarded dogs receive constant supervision, structure, and individualized care. My days are centered around caring for dogs, which allows me to safely manage multiple boarding dogs with different needs, energy levels, and routines. Each dog receives a balanced routine of exercise, enrichment, and rest in a calm, structured environment. I closely monitor behavior, maintain safe group dynamics, and provide plenty of one-on-one attention to ensure every dog feels secure and comfortable during their stay. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I maintain a structured, calm household designed to meet the needs of a wide range of dogs. I have multiple separate rooms available for dogs who do not do well with other animals, allowing them to relax comfortably without stress. For dogs who enjoy social time, there is plenty of space for safe interaction and movement. I require dogs to be crate trained overnight or reliably potty trained with an established routine, which helps ensure safety, cleanliness, and consistency for everyone in my care. My home includes a secure, fenced-in yard for supervised outdoor time, exercise, and play. While structure is an important part of my household, dogs also enjoy playtime, enrichment, and appropriate freedom based on their individual needs and comfort level. About: We’ve loved meeting all kinds of dogs through Rover, whatever breed or size, and we’d love to spend time getting to know your furry friend through walks, cuddles, and just being together! We’ve had several dogs over the years from an 11 lbs. Schnoodle to an 80 lbs. GSP to now Oliver, a 50lb. mix of many breeds. (However, he can go two-doors down to my father-in-law‘s house if our furry friends don’t get along.) We hope to meet you soon. Amy currently works mostly from home with a very flexible schedule. We get up around 6AM in the morning and stay up until about 10PM. We’d love to get steps in by taking your pet for a walk! Carl also often stops home throughout the day. Wehave a screened in back deck and also a fenced in area below that is shaded. Your pet can find the perfect place to relax and enjoy, weather pending!

About: I've spent much of my life living with and caring for dogs--from growing up with dogs throughout childhood, to helping care for dogs as an adult, to having Spencer, my most recent dog. I don't currently have pets of my own, which means visiting dogs get my full attention and don't have to adjust to unfamiliar resident animals. I genuinely miss having a dog around! I work from home and love the idea of giving someone's dog a cozy, low-stress place to stay while their humans are away. I intentionally accept dogs from only one household at a time, so I'm able to get to know their routine, personality, and quirks and make sure they get lots of individual attention. I have a dog door that suits a large dog and a fenced-in backyard in beautiful Southwest Garden, across from The Hill. I'm comfortable following detailed feeding and medication instructions and am happy to care for senior dogs. I'm currently focusing on friendly, reliably housetrained adult small and medium dogs that I can comfortably handle on leash. I prefer a meet-and-greet before a first stay so that both the dog and I can ensure we're comfortable together. And I love sending photos and updates! Getting pictures of Spencer when I traveled always made me happy, so I'm delighted to do the same for you. I work from home Monday through Friday from 9am-6pm, so I’m home much of the day and can easily fit walks, playtime, meals, potty breaks, and plenty of attention into my routine. I live on a quiet, tree-lined street with sidewalks and no through traffic, just ten houses from Sublette Park. I love walking the perimeter of the park, so dogs who enjoy walks will have plenty of opportunities to get out and "sniff the puppy newspaper." I’m happy to take dogs for several walks a day depending on their normal routine and energy level. I do leave the house for errands and activities, so dogs should be comfortable relaxing at home alone for a few hours at a time. I have a quiet, dog-friendly home with no resident pets, and I only host dogs from one household at a time. I have a large, fully fenced privacy backyard for supervised play and potty breaks, plus a dog door that can be closed and locked when needed. Dogs are welcome to relax on my large couch, which is always covered with waterproof pet blankets. At night, dogs can sleep in their own crate in my downstairs den, on the couch, or--if they’re well behaved without a crate--on a dog bed in my bedroom. I don’t provide a crate, so owners should bring one if their dog needs it. I prefer to meet new dogs before their first stay so I can learn their routine and make sure I can handle them comfortably and safely. I’m currently best suited for friendly, reliably housetrained adult dogs who aren’t strong pullers, destructive chewers, or determined escape artists.
