Jake was professional, offered to have a quick meet and greet before the next day's visit, and showed up on time for both visits. I added a laundry list of concerns to my dog's profile. Luckily my dog loved Jake within 5 minutes of meeting him. So much so, that when my husband returned early and accidentally let Xara escape from the house, it was Jake my dog allowed herself to be caught by. She doesn't allow anyone but her besties to get near her when she is loose.”

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember! I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages, from playful puppies to sweet seniors, so I'm comfortable with all kinds of personalities and needs. Today I have a 5-year-old Golden Retriever and a 5-year-old cat. They grew up together and are honestly best friends (yes, they cuddle 🐶🐱) I'm a true animal lover at heart, and my dream is to one day open my own animal rescue. Until then, I'd love to visit and walk your furry family member and give them all the love they deserve! 💛 I'm a full-time mom, so my schedule is very flexible and I can easily fit visits and walks into the day. I love being outdoors as much as possible, so your dog will get plenty of fresh air and exercise with us! 🌳🐾 I only offer drop-in visits and walks, so your pet stays in the comfort of their own home 🏡 During visits, I follow your routine as closely as possible: feeding, fresh water, medications if needed, litter box cleaning for cats, and of course lots of playtime and cuddles. I always keep an eye on how they're eating, behaving and feeling, and I'll let you know right away if anything seems off. For walks, I adapt the pace and length to your dog's energy, age and needs, whether that's a calm stroll around the block or a more active outing at the park. I’ll play, brush, communicate with them with a lot of love and care. I presently care for friends’ dogs and have taken care of cats as well. I’ve had an Irish Setter, Garman Sheppard and English Springer Spaniel. I had to move after my divorce and pets are not allowed where I live now. Taking care of pets Is how I interact with these precious beings now. I hope to be able to have my own pet again some day. My last dog was a Springer Spaniel named Luna. She was so loving, smart and active. She was a part of our family. When my son was born, she slept under his crib. I’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have and will follow your directions and preferences. Safety for your pet is also a priority of mine. I work during the week. I'm available for pet sitting on weekends. I can also pet/house sit. My work schedule can be flexible for that. I can work from your home and take care of your pets. I will pet them, play games with them, if the yard is fenced or has an electric fence, in I can play frisbee outside and other fun games for exercise. I will wash their bowls, feed them, keep the water fresh and give them medication if needed or instructed by the family.
