Experienced animal caretaker!
My name is Jennifer R, and I have been an animal lover all my life. I grew up with two cats, one indoor and one indoor/outdoor, as well as a malamute mix, and I now have one dog and five cats that i care for with my family. I have dog sat occasionally throughout my life for family and friends, and I started working professionally with animals in 2017. Through my varied training, I have gained experience with many different animals. I worked at two different boarding kennels where I fed, medicated, groomed, and walked the dogs and cats that were boarding. I began my animal welfare career at an animal shelter in the summer of 2018, and since then I have learned a lot about dog and cat handling, dog training/behavior, medical procedures (i.e. vaccinations), and some information about small animals. I have received some continuing education credits from Maddie’s University in classes for animal behavior. I have also worked at two dog daycares, so I have been trained in canine body language and managing play. I have experience fostering kittens and also fostered a goose! I am very open to all sizes and breeds of dogs and cats as well as other types of pets. I hope to give your pets the love they will be missing from their parents while you’re gone! I cant wait to meet you.

Jennifer is very responsible and responsive. She took care of my dogs exactly the way I asked her to and I felt safe knowing my dogs were in her care. She left a detailed report on her visit. Would definitely hire her again!
Jennifer is great! She is punctual and reliable.She helped care for our 12 week old labradoodle puppy, and she was flexible and kind. Rex loved having her spend time with him. We will definitely be using Jennifer’s services again!
Jennifer is a very trusted and well liked dog sitter for our family. She took care of our senior Siberian Husky, Cinnamon, when we were away for an extended period of time. Huskies are a challenging breed however those with separation anxiety are 10 times more challenging. We normally take Cinnamon on vacation with us. But the entire family left without her. Enter Jennifer. She was able to give Cinnamon the care (comfort, company, stability, a schedule, exercise &, of course, meals,) that she needed during this stressful time. Her whining stopped. She didn’t exhibit any destructive behavior. We returned home to a happy, healthy & well adjusted dog. We plan to contact Jennifer the next time we need a dog sitter.

Schedule
I am currently off work until late October, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pets and cater to their individual needs.
