“This was my first time ever leaving my 7 month old puppy so I was a little nervous and not sure what to expect. Joanne put my mind at ease from the beginning and was WONDERFUL! Willow was happy and well taken care of while I was away. I even received daily updates with pictures which I looked forward to receiving. I highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. THANK YOU Joanne for taking such good care of my Willow!”

“If I could leave 6 stars, I would! This was our first time using Meghan and she was amazing. We planned to have her watch our dog from Wednesday to Monday for a long weekend getaway, and then a snowstorm canceled our flight and we ended up being stuck away for 4 extra days. Meghan was so helpful and offered to go buy extra food for our pup since we had only packed him the amount he originally needed, and made us feel so comfortable leaving him there for what turned out to be such a long time. She sent lots of pictures and updates and I could tell my dog was having SUCH a good time. Usually when we pick our dog up from a sitter he is crying and squealing with excitement to see us… this time when we finally picked him up, he literally tried to go back into Meghan’s house and did not want to leave. He’s been depressed ever since we brought him back home… slightly heartbreaking for us LOL but a testament to what a great time he had with Meghan!”

“Sarah is the perfect sitter. She is caring and attentive and has a wonderful setup. Her dog, Luka, is friendly and got along well with Ulla. I recommend her highly, and we will use her again. Thanks Sarah!”

“Danielle was very friendly, accommodative, and kept us informed on Coco’s status, on a timely manner. This was the first time for Coco and Danielle made sure he had a very good experience. Danielle was always responsive to any questions. Overall, a 5-star experience.”

“I hesitate to leave this review for selfish reasons but gatekeeping is not an option. It was clear from the moment we walked in their beautiful home our dog would be well care for by Kevin and Natalie. Teddy is an old boy with anxiety but fit right in without issue. The pictures and updates helped us enjoy our vacation. We will absolutely book again. Thank you both!”

“Ivy took wonderful care of my energetic, large breed, 1 year old puppy. She sent TONS of photos and updates. He was so happy there- he hardly wanted to come home 🤣 Her dog is a great playmate for other pups, too. ❤️”

“This was Bella's first stay with Angela, and it appeared that both were having a great time, so we ended up extending it by a few days. Angela clearly loves dogs and is very attentive to details. She has 3 small dogs of her own and her place is a great doggie resort, with a nice fenced-in back yard and a lovely deck that is safe for them to play around. The only problem I had to deal with Bella was the readjustment to the daily grind back home. We are booking a second vacation for Bella at Angela's next month.”

“Great experience. Bridget followed instructions, returned the dogs and equipment in good order. I was so glad she had experience with shepherds and pittbulls because my rescue can be some what challenging to handle.”

“Jason was great! He took such good care of our mini goldendoodle with separation anxiety. Loved getting picture updates, and she had the best time in his awesome backyard with the other dogs. Highly recommend!”

“Purvi is great!!! Can’t say enough good things of her and the entire boarding experience!! Purvi kept us updated during our trip away in a perfect timely manner, just enough to let us know the puppy was doing great/she has concerns vs. not worry us if it’s not necessary. Will book Purvi again without a doubt.”

“First time using Rover. 4 year old yorkie with alot of energy. Emily is super professional and loving. Her care is a 10/10 and we will be using her services for the foreseeable future. Thank you Emily for your tender loving care with our baby Toby ✨️”

“My dog had such a great stay with Sarah and family! My dog has a lot of anxiety and usually has a hard time when I leave her but she did so well during her stay and was very comfortable. Sarah kept me updated regularly and sent pictures and my dog was very happy and relaxed when I picked her up :)”

“I can’t say enough great things about Lisa and her family. They were great with our dog and treated her like a member of their family. I’m so glad we found her and we don’t have to worry about leaving our dog.”

“Jenny and her family took great care of Martin while we were away last week. Communication was smooth and easy, and she send me pictures of him every day. It was such a peace of mind know that my beloved Martin was in great hands.”

“I have a 12 yr cockapoo who requires daily medication. Noria has been our overnight sitter since April 2024. She only takes one dog in addition to her own sweet Milo. Noria is incredibly kind, smart, professional, loves dogs and has a gentle/loving way in interacting with my Kobe. She has been truly a blessing to find! My family and I are assured that when we leave Kobe for an overnight with Noria that he is being cared for as if he is part of her family. Kobe can be an anxious dog and slow to warm up to people. She has a patient and playful disposition. From the first time he met her he was happy, calm and it was evident that he felt secure in her care. The medication and feeding instructions have always been followed and understood. We appreciate the photos she sends and the updates as to how he is doing. Noria is a genuine individual who has been a complete joy for our family to work with. We are so happy that she has been caring for Kobe. When we go away we know he looks forward to his time with Noria and Milo!”

“Ryan did a great job with Spenser. Daily outings, regular updates, and plenty of photos, we always knew our dog was in good hands. When our trip ran four days longer than planned, Ryan didn't skip a beat. We came home to a happy, relaxed dog. Would recommend him to any dog owner without hesitation.”

“Wade was on time and thorough, right from the beginning of our interactions. He asked us questions that I hadn’t even considered such as had we left his name with our vet in case of emergencies so he could bring in our cat should it be needed. He also mentioned, that that had never happened to him, but always good to be prepared. Highly recommended.”

“Hannah is such a thoughtful and responsible sitter. She followed all of our directions and provided many photos and updates while we were away. We highly recommend her.”

“Meghan was so great with our two kitty boys! She took care of them exactly per our instructions, and went above and beyond to play with them and love on them, even our usually-more-shy bubba. Meghan also took the time to deal with some issues our (evil) litterbox had. She was very responsive with messages and keeping us updated along with pictures! Meghan was also a trooper coming out and trekking up our driveway after it snowed. We'll be booking her again for future care!”

“Jake took very good care of Izzy and, more importantly, made me feel confident that he was being cared for while I was away. Very responsive and kept me up to date on how my pet was doing in my absence. Received just the right amount of reports and information I was expecting. Highly recommend Jake as a caring and responsible sitter.”

About: Im 30 years old, the youngest of three boys. I am a former athlete and current student at RVCC studying dietetics. Growing up we had two golden retrievers( both females so my mom wasn’t alone in that regard). With our first dog Shannon me and my brothers all shared the responsibility of taking care of. After Shannon had passed we felt that there was a void in the family that needed to be filled. That’s when kiely our second golden joined the family. Now at this time both my brothers were out of the house. The responsibilities of taking care of kiely fell upon me and I was more than happy to uphold them. I know of many parks and trails around this area that are perfect for dogs as well. I am currently working for my mother as an assistant of sorts in her dietetics practice. The hours are flexible so I'll be there for whatever you or your furry friend need. I am easygoing and adaptable. Whatever specifications you layout and accommodations you require, I will oblige. Dogs are a part of the family as thus should be treated so. Whether old or young, sick or healthy, just as you would, I will passionately care for your dog.
“Sheila was great! She was easy to work with, very responsible, and very personable! She stayed in touch every day, and sent me photos. Thank you again, Sheila, for doing such a marvelous job of taking care of Pippa (my cat).”

“From the reports and Rover card photos Izzy really enjoyed Emma's company, and despite being a shy cat, he came out and let her brush him right away. She made me feel comfortable leaving Izzy in someone else's care for the first time. I will definitely book her for my next trip, if she's available.”

“Shannon is an awesome pet sitter. She always kept us informed of how our cat was doing, with daily pictures too. Her love for pets clearly shows in how she conducts herself. We will absolutely ask Shannon to watch our cat again, and look forward to a long lasting relationship!”

“Sarah is amazing! She is very responsive to messages, is very attentive to all of those little instructions we express about our fur babies and- most of all- they love her! Highly recommend!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the deep, lifelong bond I’ve had with dogs and my genuine passion for caring for them. I grew up with my beloved Maltese, who was a part of my life for many years and truly shaped my love for animals. Over the past 20 years, I’ve cared for the dogs of friends, family members, coworkers, and even my pastor—building a reputation as the reliable, loving go-to pet sitter in my community. As a teacher, I bring patience, structure, and lots of heart to everything I do—including pet care. I treat every dog like one of my students: with kindness, respect, and a deep commitment to their well-being. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a gentle senior dog, I adapt to their needs, provide consistent care, and ensure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. As I’m currently off for summer break, I have plenty of time and flexibility to dedicate to pet care. I’m available to welcome dogs into my home or provide in-home care at your place through September. I’m happy to give your pets lots of attention, exercise, and love while you’re away! Safety, trust, and comfort are at the core of how I care for every pet. As a lifelong animal lover and educator, I understand how important it is to create a secure, loving environment—whether your dog is staying with me or I’m caring for them in your home. I live near a beautiful local reservoir with a safe walking path that I’ve used with many dogs over the years. I’m very familiar with the area and always remain alert and aware during walks to ensure your pet’s safety. I would never put your beloved pet, another animal, or anyone else in a risky situation. Their well-being comes first—always. As a teacher, safety is second nature to me. I bring that same responsibility and care into my pet-sitting—balancing structure and protection with plenty of fun, love, and tail wags along the way!

In addition to basic care, I am also experienced in administering medications, monitoring health concerns, and addressing any issues that may arise during my time with your beloved pet. I treat every fur-child in my care with the same level of love and attention that I would give to my own, and strive to make their time without their owners as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. “Our little Leia loved Kristine. Kristine kept us updated the whole time, sent plenty of pictures throughout, and a great summary at the end. She was very respectful of our home. We are new to Rover and this was a GREAT 1st experience. We already booked her for another date.”

“Vanessa has walked our crazy golden retriever twice now, and she is every bit as energetic as he is! When she came to the door, Cooper recognized her immediately and wiggled and squirmed with happiness. I highly recommend Vanessa and would give more stars if I could!”

I also have a 12 year-old English Fox Hound that likes to take me on walks/runs daily I am currently retired and this leave me plenty of time to take care of your dog. I am an avid runner and cyclist, so walking or even running with your dog is not a problem I do not have a fenced yard, but I have a 3-acre property where dogs can roam and run. About: I’ve loved animals my whole life and knew I always wanted to work with them. I’ve always cared for the pets I had growing up which included dogs, cats and guinea pigs! I then started watching friends and family members dogs and cats when they were away. One of my first jobs was at a boarding facility where I cared for and walked dogs! I have a flexible schedule due to the fact that I am home everyday caring for my 2 year old son! I would love to bring him along for walks and drop ins! My dog gets walked everyday followed by a relaxing rest stop by the river in our backyard! We love to be outdoors as much as possible!

“Awesome! Jean, is excellent! We left our 7-year-old Labradoodle for the first time with Jean for an extended weekend. She treated Simba as if he was her own dog and sent us pics of their wonderful time together multiple times a day. Simba loved it and felt at home. We are so glad we found Jean as she will be our go-to person moving forward.”

“Kristina and her family treated our dog just like a part of her family. We loved being updated with pictures of how happy our old gal was doing. Thank you so much for taking great care of Penny! ????”
