About: I am a recently graduated Masters student Columbia University, now working full-time remote with lots of flexibility during the day. I have six small dogs back home and have grown up around dogs all my life, so have great experience with them. Three of my dogs are rescues, and on top of that I've also volunteered at a pet shelter socializing rescued dogs and cats. Over the past few years, I have also gained lots of experience with all kinds of dogs on Rover. I will take great care of your pets, making sure that their safety is top priority in addition to their fun and happiness. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about my pet experience. Working 100% remotely, my schedule is super flexible, so I can stay at home during the day and do plenty of walks and play time. Most importantly, I make sure I always know where the dog is, and that all doors/possible exits are secured. I also make sure the dog doesn't eat anything that will make them unwell or they shouldn't be eating. I follow the dog's behavioral cues, walking or playing with them if they have a lot of energy, or leaving them be if they don't want the attention. I know how important consistency is for dogs, especially ones that are learning, so I always check any specific household or behavioral rules or routines with owners ahead of time.

About: I have trained puppies, cared for 4 dogs concurrently and provided palliative care and oral daily medication, grooming and flea prevention to many dogs over the years. We have a massive 7,000sq, fenced ft yard with 3 sections and I have 14 years of experience dog sitting. As a child, my family bred Samoyeds and I've lived with dogs for most of my life. I've helped special needs dogs including one rescued from a fighting ring and I know how special the connection is that we have with our pups. I look forward to providing the same high level of care to your pups that I have provided to the many dogs I have cared with over the years. I am a part time personal trainer at 2 nearby gyms. This means I am never away from home for more than a few hours. I provide love and positive encouragement within a regimented approach. I spend time with pets while I am home and have a pet safe area where they stay when I step out. My housemate does have a well behaved dog, but their dog stays in his suite and we alternate using the yard so there would be no interaction unless desired. He is a professional dog walker and we have a tiny home in our back yard where he provides doggy daycare to his clients. If desired, we can socialize non-reactive dogs with his dogs but otherwise we keep everyone separate and alternate use of the yard.
