“Irina is wonderful! She provides daily updates and videos of Ziggy. She also notifies me if she observes anything significant about my dog, and gives suggestions. I appreciate that. Thank you for caring for Ziggy.”

“We boarded our two dogs for the first time with Carrie and her family for an overnight stay. My husband and I could tell right away that they were going to be in great hands. I appreciated the quick responses and the update on how they were doing. We would definitely utilize this amazing family again and feel safe and reassured doing so. Sincerely, The Navarrete Family”

From getting updates (photos videos and messages) to answering all questions we had the whole time. Excellent service. Highly recommend Shannon, and we look forward having our Luna stay with Shannon and her family in the future. Thanks for everything.”

“I was really nervous about leaving Lewis behind because he's still recovering from surgery (the wound is healed, but he's still fragile), but Jennifer did a great job of keeping his activity restricted while still making sure both of my dogs got lots of love. She also provided regular (2x/day) updates and daily pictures, so I never had to wonder how they were doing. I will absolutely be using her again when I need a sitter in this area.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Herald
Celeste and her family were wonderful care givers. Their home was a nice environment with a nice fenced yard and plenty of room to explore and play for our dog. She was attentive and was careful to follow through on our dog's needs. We received updates and pictures during his stay. There were 3 kids in the family that were sooo excited to have a dog visit! They have my dog lots of extra love and attention. The white family was very friendly and kind. I would definitely highly recommend them as pet sitters and I'm sure my dog would love to visit them again!

Arnesha is amazing! From the very first meet and greet, she made everything so easy for Charlie and helped her feel comfortable right away. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing Charlie connected with her so quickly. During the stay, I loved receiving the daily updates with photos and videos. Charlie always looked happy, relaxed, and well cared for. You can tell Arnesha truly cares, and Charlie absolutely adores her. We feel so lucky to have found her! Thank you so much again, Arnesha! Until next time!!!

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
