About: Hello, my name is Reed. I’m a 25-year-old student and former Kennel Technician with hands-on experience in dog sitting, daycare, and boarding on my off days. Over the past year, I’ve also worked professionally leading off-leash group hikes using e-collars, managing 15–17 dogs at a time on dog-friendly trails and parks. This role has given me advanced skills in safe pack management, recall training, and e-collar handling. When your pup is with me, you can count on structured exercise, socialization, and fun adventures at dog parks and on dog-friendly trails. If needed on Tuesdays and Thursdays I can do a late overnight stay for a discount. In the house, I can board a family and give medicine oral or injections. I go to dog parks often, and usually take them outside every hour to an hour and a half. The only requirement is having a dog that is friendly so my dog stays safe as well.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 10 years old and have years of hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals. I’m especially comfortable with dogs of all ages, including senior pets who require extra attention and medical care. I have experience administering medications, including injections for diabetic dogs, and I’ve also cared for birds. What sets me apart is how much I genuinely love bonding with animals. I’m active and enjoy being outdoors, so your pets will get plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats of every kind since I was 10. I dog-sit and cat-sit, and I have even bird-sat before. I have shadowed dog trainers and aided with behavioral therapy dog certification tests, and I volunteer at Best Friends shelter for dog walking. I am very adaptable to what works for each dog, because I know everyone has individual needs! I won't tire or get short with a puppy, and I can just provide companionship and support to senior dogs :) I know how to read a situation and how to avoid a stressful or potentially volatile situation with another dog, and as such, I will act accordingly because nothing is more important than keeping you pet safe and happy! For the background of my pet experience, in my parents' home, which I grew up in, all our pets (2 cats and a dog) have their own beds on the floor next to mine, as well as one or two others in the living room, basement, etc., so they can always hang out with us. We have a yard where they go out and play in or get sun, and take them on walks on the daily. For my cats we have 2 cat trees, and it turns out they prefer window sills and beds anyway, so we leave blankets out for them. We feed them 2x a day with wet and dry food, and will give dental bones to our dog and treats usually daily. In your home, I wil respect all your house and pet rules, treat your things and pets with respect, and give them love and attention until you return home! Pets are what brighten my day. When I come home from school, the first thing I do is greet them, and when they greet me with a smile on their face and their tails wagging, I forget the stress of the day. They make my whole life better. I try to dogwalk at the local shelter on weekends, and say hi to any and all dogs I meet (obviously checking in with the owners first) I currently live in an apartment with a roommate; however, she will never be left alone or in any way in charge of caring for your pet. I will never leave your pet alone with her or anyone else for the duration of their stay with me. They will be given treats and food as you dictate, and they will be loved, cuddled, walked, and treated as the King or Queen of the house. I promise to cherish your pet as if they were my own, because I know (and I am of the opinion of this too!) they are more than pets, they are family.

“I had to leave my two Siamese boys home for the holidays. I was very nervous. I work from home and they aren't home alone much, if at all! Having true flame-point Siamese characteristics, they require constant attention and play. They are known to be one of the most social of cat breeds and are often called the royalty of cats for good reason! Lucy stayed over the whole week and did more than give them her undivided attention! She followed their feeding schedule and medicine administration. They had just been neutered a week before and she checked that they were still healing properly. She checked in with me and responded promptly when I texted her to see how things were going. She let me know how much time she was with them and when she was away. I could tell when I got home they had still gotten the amount of playtime and cuddles they need. She met with me beforehand and went over last minute details as I requested before I left. I was in a rush the day I left and Lucy watered my plants for me. My dishwasher was broken at the time and couldn't run water in one side of my sink. She made sure to not use them and hand washed any dishes. I left my only apartment key with her and she didn't forget to put it back for my return. Everything was tidy and perfectly taken care of. I can tell Lucy enjoys animals and watching them. It's not a "job" for her, but a joy she holds in her everyday life. I am excited to have found a permanent sitter and my kitties are happy they'll have a familiar friend when I'm gone! I'm so grateful that she was able to stay over and spend her Christmas watching them. Thanks for becoming my cat-sitter Lucy!”
