“Dave was amazing with our two Great Danes. Our senior dane nuzzled him and leaned on him immediately, and he was patient with our shyer younger dane as she always takes a few minutes to feel comfortable. Our younger dane also had recently been diagnosed with Wobblers and was still on meds and play/walking restrictions and he was very gentle with her and followed all instructions. When we returned from our trip, it was obvious that both dogs loved him and had a great time with him. He also took great care of the house and left it very clean, which we 100% appreciated. This was our first time using Rover and we will definitely book with Dave again for our next trip.”

About: Grew up with dogs and have many years of hands-on experience caring for them in everyday life, including feeding, walking, basic training, and understanding different breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. I’m confident handling both calm and active dogs and adjusting to their individual needs. I now also own two cats, which has given me additional experience with feline behavior, routines, and creating a safe, stress-free environment. I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and treat every animal with patience, responsibility, and genuine care. My schedule is very flexible, and I’m available for pet care throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and on short notice when needed. I can’t take pets into my own home because I have two cats, but I’m very happy to stay at the client’s home and provide care there. About: I have a BS in Animal Science and have 3 years direct experience working with animals. I’ve also worked with a 2 month old puppy, volunteered at my local animal shelter, as well as received Volunteer of the Year award during that time. I've walked dogs, changed cats litter, fed rabbits, and made sure all animals in the shelter had fresh food and water, as well as clean spaces. About: Hello, my name is Reed. I’m a 25-year-old student and former Kennel Technician with hands-on experience in dog sitting, daycare, and boarding on my off days. Over the past year, I’ve also worked professionally leading off-leash group hikes using e-collars, managing 15–17 dogs at a time on dog-friendly trails and parks. This role has given me advanced skills in safe pack management, recall training, and e-collar handling. When your pup is with me, you can count on structured exercise, socialization, and fun adventures at dog parks and on dog-friendly trails. I’ll also make sure you receive high-quality photos of your pet so you can see them enjoying their day. I’ve been formally trained on dog behavior and care through PackPro and the Dog Handler Academy, and I continue to build on that knowledge every day. Feel free to reach out and book a date—I’d love to give your dog the care, attention, and adventure they deserve. I work at the pet resort Sunday-Tuesday and Thursdays. If needed on Tuesdays and Thursdays I can do a late overnight stay for a discount. In the house, I can board a family and give medicine oral or injections. I go to dog parks often, and usually take them outside every hour to an hour and a half. The only requirement is having a dog that is friendly so my dog stays safe as well.

About: I am comfortable taking care of all kinds of pets besides cats and dogs including reptiles, snakes, birds and even insects. I grew up with many different kinds of pets in the home so I am adaptable to whatever needs your pet might have. I work as a substitute teacher and I schedule my work a few days to a week in advance so I may be less available on any given week if you don’t communicate with me a week in advance. When sitting in the client’s home I’ll set alarms to make sure that I feed and walk the dog at the required times, I prefer to walk dogs on leash so please let me know where those are before I come to sit (I’ll also ask you if not).
