Lorelei took into consideration he was a puppy and took him on lots of potty breaks and blocked off the stairs so he wouldn’t fall, since he was still new to those. About: I started pet sitting at age 12. I’m comfortable with all animals from exotic to barnyard (ex. Horses, pigs, bearded dragons, wolf-dogs, fox, skunks, parrots and ferrets). I have had my dog for six years, and I recently took in a senior cat over the summer whom has adjusted flawlessly. I am a full time student and currently unemployed during my pregnancy journey. I spend most days at home, as most of my coursework is online. My pets are crate trained and respect boundaries. I also have baby gates for separation. I do not require crate training but it is extremely helpful if your pet is, so please let me know!

About: I love dogs and animals - they really are the best! I have owned three for many years, raising two from being puppies, and addressing challenging behavior with an older doggo, in addition to fostering multiple rescue dogs. I recently moved to WI, and my pets stayed home with my partner for now, and miss my furry companions and want to provide love and care for yours while I’m here! I am happy to work with you on what’s best, whether that is house sitting, boarding, or simply letting your animals out on walks or to go potty. Let’s chat! I currently work from home and have a remote job, so can provide your dog with any needs or attention that makes sense based on their schedule. I have some in-person meetings that occur throughout the week, and am generally around on the weekends regularly. If planning on boarding or daycare, my apartment is very dog-friendly, with many residents having pets and there are plenty of amenities available, whether walking around the neighborhood on leash or playing in the apartment’s fenced in dog run, that will give your pet what it needs. I can easily crate, take out for potty breaks, etc. I am also mindful of dog reactivity regardless of my own or neighbor’s dogs.

“Nicole and her kids were great. They were very kind and caring with my dog snooper. They have two other dogs that of course want to protect their owner .. but Nicole was careful to keep them on leash or contained during meet n greet. She thoughtfully considered my apprehension about leaving snooper with 3 dogs (they had another for day care I learned later) and figured out ways to keep the dogs separated. The kids were so loving to little snooper I think he had a lot of private attention! Nicole sets a great example for dog care for her kids—- as did her father who was around during meet and greet. So nice to see children take such loving interest in animals.”
