“The kids were happy. Good communication, lots of photos and video. It was a great place with a good yard for them to play. She took good care of our perrhijos.”

“Joan was flexible and so understanding when we had to change plans last minute. She also took exceptional care of our dog including applying a salve to a wound and doing medication multiple times a day after we had to take our pup to the vet right before the visit started. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Al and Hannah were phenomenal! They were very responsive and sent a lot of updates through my dog's stay. It made me feel very comfortable leaving Cas with them, and I absolutely will again if the need arises. Highly recommend!”

“Finn had a wonderful time with Duane and Lauren. They took such good care of Finn, kept him happy, busy and excercised. Im so grateful! Will book again soon!”

“Kaycee and Robert are the best! They took such good care of our little dog, who has never spent time away from us. They took him on walks, played with him, and kept him warm and safe. Our dog loved Tank (their dog) and the kids. He had a blast with this lovely family. They are kind and warm people who took excellent care of our dog. It is evident that they are expert dog owners who have fostered and trained many dogs. We will definitely book them next time we leave town. We highly recommend them!”

“Our dog Gatsby has stayed with Edith on multiple occasions and always has a wonderful time! We love all of the updates that Edith sends and we know that he is getting the best of care while we are away. Even when our dog has less than stellar behavior Edith takes it all in stride and keeps us updated. Thank you Edith!”

“I would absolutely recommend Yoki and Derek to care for Wrigley again! Wrigley was well cared for and played all weekend, coming home a tired pup! Very nice photo updates.”

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life. My family growing up never had less than 3 pets at a time so I've grown up loving and rescuing animals including taking care of outdoor feral cats, stray dogs, etc. I currently have two cats of my own and hope to have more in the future at the very least by fostering :) Besides when working my 9/5 or rover I spend most of my free time with my cats. I also keep a cat crate and food in my car in case I ever see any stray cats and I have a humane trap at home. I have raised puppies and kittens from 2 months old and have had elderly pets that have lived to be 19 years old so I have experience with lots of pets of different ages, breeds, and personality types. I've taken care of upwards of 7 cats all in the same household so I am also experienced with caring for multiple pets including households with multiple cats and also dogs. I also have experience to varying degrees with deer, rabbits, horses, chickens, quail, and fish. I think pets are family and best friends and I am excited to meet yours and give them lots of love and attention I may be wearing a mask - don’t worry I’m not sick I am very immunocompromised so I mask around strangers just as an extra precaution so I don’t get sick For daycare or boarding for dogs I would prefer they are cat friendly but accommodations can be made for sure! Currrntl due to my job I can’t do morning drop ins or walks during the work week but can on weekends and can still do boardings. There are some afternoons where I occasionally have avilability and my availability is subject to change so please feel free to still message to ask :) I still do have lots of weekend free time too :) I’m happy to watch multi pet house holds and do daycare for multiple dogs if you have more than one! During meet ups I may be wearing a mask - don’t worry I’m not sick I am very immunocompromised so I mask around strangers just as an extra precaution so I don’t get sick In my own household I would provide them with their own toys, food and water bowls, and take them for lots of walks if applicable. My pets and any animals here are allowed to be on the furniture like the couches and bed but I usually put a blanket and a small bed on the ground in case some babies feel more comfy with that. I am more than happy to also crate them!

“Scott and his dog Lucy were a great match for Roo! I received multiple picture updates and he was great at communicating. We met up beforehand to ensure a good match, and it was clear Scott has a natural way with dogs. Would gladly rebook!”

“Emily and her family gave our 4-month old puppy all the love and attention one can hope for when leaving a furry friend for the day. He got to play in a fenced yard with other dogs and came home nice and tired. We’ll definitely book with her again in the future!”

“We just completed our dogs 3rd stay at Sarah and Zach's house and we already have stay #4 booked. Our always have so much fun and get lots of outdoor playtime. We love the photo and video updates and especially enjoy knowing they are being so well cared for while we are away.”

“I hesitate to leave a review because I don’t want anyone else to steal our future dog sitter! Our dog had the best time with Amanda and family. They’re great! Couldn’t be happier with our experience.”

“From the initial meet and greet up to picking my dog up after his stay, Bekah was a fantastic communicator and made our boy feel right at home. I love how much access he had to their large back yard and it was great that he had a couple of pup pals to play with too. Thank you for all the great pictures and updates. He came home absolutely pooped and happy - the sign of a perfect doggo vacation!”

About: I’ve been fortunate enough to be raised with cats and dogs and have been caring for them all of my life. Starting very young I’ve been hired by family, friends, and strangers to walk their dogs and care for their animals when they’re gone. I have experience with cats and dogs of all ages from puppies and kittens to senior animals. I’m also experienced at dog training. I enjoy teaching dog behaviors through delicious treats, positive reinforcement, and lots of fun games! Your pet means everything to you, and I want to make sure they feel the love even when you’re away. I love walking, playing in the yard, playing with toys in the house, and giving lots of pets and love to your furry friend. I can’t wait to meet your buddy and become their home away from home! I work from home one day per week, and I’m home on evenings and weekends. I work close to home, so even when I am not working from home I am never too far away. I enjoy taking a morning or evening walk with my dog, and playing games in the house or in my fenced in yard. I am available for boarding with potty breaks as frequently as needed from Tuesday nights through Thursday mornings, and from Friday nights to Monday mornings. While your dog is with me, we will play games inside the house, play with toys, go on walks, and run in my fenced in yard. My dog is friendly with other dogs and has spent years in daycare without issue so I expect she will be a wonderful playmate for most dogs. All pups will be kept separate from each other when they are not being actively supervised. Weekday morning pickup and drop offs will need to be done by 7:30am, and weekday evening pickups will need to be done after 5pm. If you need flexibility beyond that, please let me know and I will work with you however I can. I have a fenced in yard, and one friendly dog in the home. My dog in the home does extremely well with other dogs, and loves to play. I prefer to reward good behavior with yummy treats, and provide enticing distractions if problematic behaviors arise. I believe in engaging fully while playing with dogs, and then providing structured relaxation time for them to unwind. When the dogs are not under active supervision, like if I am out of the house for any length of time, they will be crated for some calming time. I like to encourage positive associations with the crate by expending mental and physical energy before going into the crate, using treats as a reward to enter the crate, and playing relaxing ambient music to sooth the dogs while crated.
“My 4 legged member of the family had the blessing of spending the weekend with Stephanie. She kept me updated on his stay with videos and pictures. He went for walks and played in their backyard.”

“Chase was well taken care of and thoroughly enjoyed his time there. He got to go on lots of walks and liked having a playmate. We received lots of pictures and updates. We would definitely use Jennifer and Phil again.”

Hawthorne dog parents share their Rover experiences
Highly recommended. We left our two fur babies with Derek and Yoki for an extended weekend, it was the first time they had been with a dog sitter that wasn’t family. They are small dogs (Pomeranians) and we were concerned with them being left with someone they didn’t know and being around bigger dogs. We received multiple pictures and updates daily. We feel they were were cared for.

From the initial meet and greet up to picking my dog up after his stay, Bekah was a fantastic communicator and made our boy feel right at home. I love how much access he had to their large back yard and it was great that he had a couple of pup pals to play with too. Thank you for all the great pictures and updates. He came home absolutely pooped and happy - the sign of a perfect doggo vacation!

This was our first time using Rover and we were so happy we chose Al and Hannah to care for our dog. We were out of the country for 8 days and never had to worry. They sent us updates and pictures daily, took her for walks and played and snuggled with her. Will definitely use them again!

Michele and Waldo were amazing hosts for Cleo! Michele sent tons of pictures and videos, and Cleo was having the time of her life in all of them. She and Waldo played nonstop, and she was happy and exhausted when we picked her up. We will absolutely use Michele again.

Always an amazing and trustworthy dog sitter! Margaret has taken care of our dog Bella numerous times now, and Bella loves being there! I trust Margaret with her care completely. Margaret provides regular updates, pictures and videos of Bella while we're away and has been very flexible about pick up and drop off. We will always see if Margaret is available for dog sitting before asking others!

Monica and her husband were absolutely wonderful with our puppy! They boarded him overnight while we were out of town, and from the start they were so kind, welcoming, and easy to communicate with. They sent tons of pictures and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our puppy had a blast playing with their puppy and got lots of walks and attention. Honestly, I was a little worried he was having so much fun he wouldn’t want to come home 😂 We’re so grateful for the love and care they gave him and would absolutely book with them again! Highly recommend!
