“Samantha was so wonderful with Buddy! She spent a lot of time brushing and petting him so he was a happy kitty while we were gone. Everything in the house was neat and clean when we got home. I would highly recommend Samantha!”

About: I have had pets my whole life and got my first personal dog four years ago who is my best friend. I have worked two years as a Veterinary Assistant and I am currently in school to be certified as a veterinary technician (like assistant but more advanced) and I am an amateur dog trainer. While I would say I’m more of a dog person, I love cats as well and i do have experience with other pets. I can give any medications or treatments you pet may be on and I have gained the trust of many timid animals. I can follow care directions no matter how picky or seemingly odd. You won’t have to worry about your pet while you’re away because I will be there making sure that they are safe and happy. (I am not legally able to or knowledgeable enough to provide medical advice) I do many odd jobs to support myself as I go through school online. My schedule is my own so I can be there whenever you need me. At home my dog is fed twice a day, given at least one enrichment activity a day and has access to a variety of toys. She has a fenced in backyard for bathroom breaks, sniffing, and zoomies. Away from home we hike 2-4 days a weeks and walk the rest (one day off/week) and we do 3-4 training sessions a week to strengthen and maintain her obedience skills and build confidence.
“Emily was great! She checked in throughout our trip to make sure we knew when she would be at the house and what our kitties were up to. Our kitties were new to us taking a long trip and having someone else checking on them, so they were a bit shy. Emily handled it so well! And did her best to help them feel comfortable. She was easy to get a hold of, very reliable, and quick to respond to any questions we had during the booking and actual sitting process. We will definitely book Emily again in the future :)”

“Kallyn is wonderful! We have a shy cat who tends to hide when we’re away. He loved Kallyn from the moment she walked in the door and came out to see her while we were gone! She sent lots of updates and pictures and was great to work with. Couldn’t recommend more!”

About: Formerly worked part-time at Animal Ark no-kill animal shelter I've had Dogs and/or cats my entire life. Everything from Shih Tzu, Great Danes, Shepards, and Mastiff. I know to respect a dogs size and energy without being afraid of them. I've simply never met a dog I didn't love to spend time with. Currently working weekends, Fri-Sun, and sometimes Monday. formerly worked most mornings at Animal Ark. Now working weekends for the most part. Former job just went under, and I'm looking for an income supplement until I can find a full time job. I have no problem with long walks, I live in a small apartment with a cat so I can't take care of other people's pets there. For the sake of building trust I can only suggest starting with walks and if you, your pet, and I get along you become comfortable enough to watch your dog or cat when out of town, or check in while you're on a double.
“We love this guy! Derek is very friendly, honest, and sincere. It's clear he loves animals and vice-versa. My cats liked him a lot and he was good about following our instructions, and making adjustments as needed. We will definitely use him again! Highly recommended.”

“Rachel was absolutely fantastic. She did exactly what we asked…and more! Great communication and response time. Knowing she was taking care of our kitties made it possible to enjoy our vacation even more. If we ever need a pet sitter again, Rachel will be our first choice.”

“Mikayla took excellent care of my cats while I was out of town! She went above and beyond by helping clean up after them and helped me out by taking out the trash. She played with them during her visits and sent me pictures. When I arrived home, I found a sweet note and new toy for them as a thank you gift! She is a great sitter to have.”

About: I have spent time volunteering at the humane society and love socializing and walking dogs! I am comfortable with any size dogs. I have had several dogs since I was young. My summer hours are very flexible. I am new to this but am looking forward to meeting some new dogs and helping out busy pet owners. I am mostly on here for walks and drop in visits. I have a standard poodle who loves other dogs and will likely be offended by the scent of other dogs on me when I get home! Please send me a message with any questions. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! Thank you for checking out my profile. I am a teacher, so I'm very available in the summertime (when I'm not doing grad school homework or travelling). I'm excited to help care for some animals in my free time. Pets>people always. I am always excited to greet pets with open arms! I meet pets where they're at, so whether they need some sitting together time or a brisk walk, I've got them covered.
“This was the second time we have had Jennifer take care of our two cats while we were out of town. Jennifer was great with them just as she was the first time we booked her. She really got to know them by playing with them in addition to feeding and cleaning their litter boxes. She even cleaned up a spot of throw up left by one of our cats. Jennifer is definitely someone you can rely on and trust as a pet sitter. Thank you!”
