About: I’ve had the incredible privilege of caring for my own dog, Miles, for almost 18 years. Over those years, he became so much more than a pet—he was truly a member of my family. Caring for him throughout every stage of his life taught me the importance of patience, love, consistency, and paying attention to the little things that make a pet feel safe and comfortable. I’ve also cared for my sister’s dog when she needed a sitter. I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pet while you’re away. I will treat every pet in my care with the same love, attention, and respect I would want for my own. While I’m newer to pet sitting professionally, I bring nearly 18 years of hands-on experience, a genuine love for animals, and a commitment to making every pet feel happy, safe, and loved while they’re in my care. I am currently available on weekends and evenings. I am also usually free on Fridays. I could do morning visits before I go to work if needed. I have a fenced in yard at my home. I recently had to put my 18 year old dog down and the home has been very quiet and lonely. I would love to have the company of your dog. I have dog beds, bowls, leashes and treats but feel free to provide your own! I also live in a large neighborhood where I could take your pet on many walks.

Maddie took great care of our 2 cats while we were away, especially our one kitty that requires a daily medication pill. Although the daily pilling was not a favorite activity for our cat, Maddie showed patience and did her best to gain her trust. I felt at ease knowing Maddie works as a Vet Tech and has experience with animals. She made sure to give treats and participate in daily playtime. We will request Maddie again in the future.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
