“Highly recommend! Wendy went way above and beyond while we were away. She took fantastic care of our kitty, making sure to keep us informed on every visit as well as giving our little one lots of playtime. We also had a water leak while gone and she went way beyond what we could have asked in order to help with the situation. Can now travel with ease knowing that our little girl will be taken care of as if her own! Highly recommend!”
“Elisa is a wonderful sitter. She took the time to get to know my kitties in advance of booking a stay - which helped them be more comfortable on her visits. She is a great communicator, my kitties are always so happy and well loved during her visits.”

“Kim is a great person who provided drop in visits for our dog Molly. We really appreciated her calm and loving demeanor with Molly. Kim is reliable and trustworthy!”

“Zee was amazing! Our cat gets really bad separation anxiety and Zee always went above and beyond. If you get nervous about leaving your pets, Zee is the sitter for you! She left us detailed messages with pictures and videos each visit. We will definitely be reaching out to Zee next time we have to leave our cat.”

“Heather took such good care of my fur baby Raz While I was away. She always goes above and beyond in caring for him! He definitely loves her and I trust her implicitly.”

About: Hi I’m Kenzie! 🐾 I’ve grown up around animals my entire life, so caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I genuinely love getting to know each pets unique personality and routine. I’m responsible, attentive, and always want your pet to feel comfortable, happy, and cared for while you’re away! I have a part-time job most days from 4:00–7:00 PM, but I’m available before and after those hours and have a flexible schedule overall. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and will always communicate clearly about my availability. Whether your pet needs morning walks, midday check-ins, evening care, or overnight stays, I’ll do my best to accommodate your needs. I primarily provide care in my clients homes because I know pets are happiest and most comfortable in a familiar environment. I’ll follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any other instructions you provide.
About: I’ve had the incredible privilege of caring for my own dog, Miles, for almost 18 years. Over those years, he became so much more than a pet—he was truly a member of my family. Caring for him throughout every stage of his life taught me the importance of patience, love, consistency, and paying attention to the little things that make a pet feel safe and comfortable. I’ve also cared for my sister’s dog when she needed a sitter. I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pet while you’re away. I will treat every pet in my care with the same love, attention, and respect I would want for my own. While I’m newer to pet sitting professionally, I bring nearly 18 years of hands-on experience, a genuine love for animals, and a commitment to making every pet feel happy, safe, and loved while they’re in my care. I am currently available on weekends and evenings. I am also usually free on Fridays. I could do morning visits before I go to work if needed. I have a fenced in yard at my home. I recently had to put my 18 year old dog down and the home has been very quiet and lonely. I would love to have the company of your dog. I have dog beds, bowls, leashes and treats but feel free to provide your own! I also live in a large neighborhood where I could take your pet on many walks.
“This was our first time using Rover for our 9-year-old dog, and we were a bit apprehensive—especially since our pup has allergies that require medication. We got Emily’s name from a friend, and she turned out to be wonderful! From the start, she put us at ease. She was punctual, attentive, and kept us updated with photos, notes, and regular check-ins. We were so happy with the care she provided and will absolutely be using her again in the future!”

About: I have provided reliable dog sitting for multiple families, ensuring pets were safe, comfortable, and well cared for while owners were away. I have managed responsibilities including feeding, walking, playing, and administering basic medications. I have handled different breeds, sizes, and ages and pay attention to the each dog’s individual needs. I’m currently available for drop in visits until August 20 and then will be available again December-January and summer of 2027! Looking forward to meeting your pets! I will make sure to take each dog on as long of a walk as needed. I can take them where ever they are most comfortable or familiar with.
“Christina was amazing with our husky lab! She gave him all of the attention, followed directions to a tee, and was very mindful of the questions she asked to make sure she was prepared to watch him. He also requires medication and she didn’t skip a beat with delivering it. Don’t hesitate to book her - she’s the best!”

“Adrianna is attentive, caring and kind. I was very stressed and in need of help- first week with my new pup, and she was at the ready to help anyway she can. Super appreciative!”

“So happy to have found Brenda on Rover! She is super reliable and manages to interact with all four of my dogs and sends me a little blip of their time together and fun pics! I couldn’t have picked a better person to be with my fur babies. Thank you!”

“Katie was wonderful. Our cats were happy and content when we arrived home, and she did a great job following our requested instructions. She was always responsive to any communication I sent. We will certainly book Katie again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Furlong
Christina seems to be a very good cat sitter. This was our first experience with her. It was over a weekend so only two days, but our cats were healthy and happy when we got back home. She fed the cats, clean the litter box, let them out on the porch for a while and gave them pets and hugs. I really like Christina and would hire her again to watch our cats.

It has been a while since I have left a review… Christine has been watching my two cats for 3 years! She continues to be amazing! Christine takes such good care of them and I know they are always well looked after. She sends amazing updates each visit. We truly appreciate all she does!

This is my first time hiring a pet sitter for drop-off visits from Rover.com. I like Alexandra for a reason; she took her time to visit my kitties. Got along with them. Alexandra paid attention to all the details I explained about feeding, petting, and caring for my lovely cats. I really like her. My Kitties looked relaxed and calm when we came back from the trip. Thank you, Alex!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
