“Perfect service! Teona & Louelyn took amazing care of our puppy Finn. We got pictures proactively sent to us and everything went perfectly. Will definately use them again!”

“This was my wife and I's first time using Rover, so naturally there was a bit of hesitation when it came to leaving our 6 month old Beagle with someone we did not know. HOWEVER, we felt completely comfortable leaving our pup with Stephanie. First off, we decided to use Rover the night before we needed someone to watch our dog, and Stephanie responded to us promptly making it a breeze to schedule care for Charlie. She was very thorough in making sure she knew everything about him- his eating schedule, walking schedule, bathroom schedule, and even wanted to know where we kept him in his crate at night so she could help him feel close to home as possible. All in all, we are happy we chose Stephanie to watch our dog, and we will gladly choose her again in the future.”

“Hands down my sweet old lady pup was spoiled rotten! I had no worries at all and got the sweetest videos and photos while we were out of town. I would 100% want my pup to be cared for by Lauryn and her family. If she is available-book her. Totally worth it!”

“Ms. Crystal was so kind, loving and patient with our tiny 3 month old Teddy! Puppies require a lot of love and attention as they are like sponges soaking everything in at a fast pace. They are also a lot more work than a trained adult dog. Ms. Crystal treated Teddy like her very own “grand dog”. She sent pictures and videos throughout the weekend to give us a glimpse of their day and to reassure us he was doing very well. I’m a meticulous person and she followed all of teddy’s care instructions. She even provided us with tips as new puppy parents. He was calm and relaxed when we picked him up and Ms Crystal even gave him a new toy that he loves! We are so happy we found her! We look forward to booking her first years to come!”

“This is our second time leaving our dog with Amanda and Scott. They are truly caring dog-lovers, and we are grateful that we can travel with confidence, knowing that Pip will be well cared for❤️”

“My boys love staying with Omaha and Isaac. They play with their frenchie and really enjoy playtime in the yard. They come home very happy and never seem traumatized. I can't get that relief from any other place. That's why we rebook with them frequently.”

“Allie is very calm and happy. Just what I want when she comes home. She was treated so very well. Would definitely trust Bryan and his family and use their services again in the future”

“Lyra and Scott took great care of Ruby. They followed our instructions that we had for her and even gave her extra attention when she got a little sick. They were flexible with the pick up time as we didn’t know exactly when we would be there to pick up and kept us informed about Ruby thru pictures and texts.”

“This is Beau’s 2nd stay, and he loves it here! He did really well and was always happy in the videos I received. They even kept Beau for me when my flight home was delayed, we will definitely book again!”

“This was our first time using Rover. Tate and Rosie, our two yellow labs, had a great overnight stay with Ellie. She gave them plenty of attention and activity - like going to dog camp! We picked them up happy and tired the next day. Thank you for taking good care of them, Ellie!”

“This was Pitch's first stay with anyone he did not already know (he is almost 10!) and Tara was FANTASTIC! We are so thankful for how well she cared for him! We have already committed to her watching him again.”

“Deemie was very sweet and responsive! My dog took an instant liking to her and followed her sweet Chewie around. She was very accommodating to my senior dog and his needs. I’d happily recommend her services to anyone!”

“We had another great experience with Jared. This was the second time he's taken care of our dog, and he was excellent. We received daily pictures and updates, and our dog had a great time. We will definitely keep using him.”

About: I have taken care of lots of dogs over the years. I love on all of them, and give great doggie massages. I take the dogs on daily walks. I work 3 to 4 hours each day and am home most of the time. I am a master gardener and spend a lot of free time in the yard. I have a fairly large fenced in back yard. I take my own dogs for a morning walk most every day. I give lots of treats.
“My very first time using Rover. And this was my very first time leaving Zora, ever! Before even dropping her off, Brittany communicated so well with me and assisted me comfortably. Experienced and attentive. I must say, I am very pleased! I could see that Zora had, had a great weekend with you and trusted you. From the pictures, I cannot thank you enough. I will definitely be using your service again. 😊 a new pink twin connection! Thank you Brittany! You are a blessing”

“Cristen and family were amazing! Wish we had found them before. They took very good care of Asher while we were at our daughter’s graduation. We didn’t have to worry about Asher at all. Wonderful family!”

“Hillary did an exceptional job with our three dogs! She kept us informed through frequent updates and photos of our furry companions playing with her children. The dogs always seemed delighted and cherished, receiving all the attention they deserved. It was a delightful feeling to know that our dogs were having a wonderful time while we were away. Upon our return, they appeared relaxed and rejuvenated, ready to greet us with enthusiasm.”

“Savannah was absolutely amazing with my dog. She was very responsive and sent me daily photos and texts to let me know how my fur baby was doing. Her farm is perfect for dogs and she took them on walks around the walking paths.”

“Karen was warm and friendly with both us and our dog. She sent regular updates while we were away. Our dog must really love Karen because she was barking protectively when I walked up to the door. We look forward to more visits with Karen!”

Many sitters in VA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
