About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and grew up with my first dog, a Pit Bull and Chocolate Lab mix, who was with me from birth until I was 16. I helped care for her throughout her life and developed a really special bond with her. I also have a new dog who is mostly Pit Bull, and I take care of him regularly. I’ve also cared for friends dogs and currently walk a Golden Retriever multiple times a week throughout the summer. I’m comfortable with different personalities and love building a genuine connection with every dog I meet. I’m currently a student but have a pretty flexible schedule where I have much free time during the week and full availability on the weekends. I want every pet to feel safe and comfortable while they’re in my care. I follow each owner’s instructions and keep their normal routine as much as possible. I’m very attentive and make sure pets get the care, attention and love they need. I also treat every client’s home with the same respect I would want for my own.

“This review is long overdue! I have been using Marissa for about a year now give or take for twice weekly drop ins. I have a senior diabetic pomeranian and a 3 year old highly energetic Border Collie and both of my dogs seem to love Marissa! We always get pictures of our smiling pups and it is clear they have a good time during the visit. Marissa is not only great with our dogs, but she is reliable, trustworthy, and will go the extra mile to accommodate bookings. We never come home to any accidents, and she is always kind enough to bring our packages in front the porch. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
