I grew up on a cattle ranch in Oregon, and animals have been part of my life ever since. I've gone on to care for pets all over the world through various sitting opportunities. I'm comfortable with dogs of different breeds, sizes and energy levels, and I enjoy getting to know each cat's particular quirks. I'm also experienced with senior pets, including administering medications, managing mobility issues, and keeping a close eye on any special needs they have. About: Ive been taking care of animals for a long time, Ive sat big and small dogs and cats. I also love giving them all the love they deserve. I work part-time during the week but can still work during the week, I am free all weekends but some days I will have track meets I play with my pets very regularly and brush their fur, of course feeding them when necessary is important and giving treats when they show good behavior

I would like to fully understand the routine the client has for their pet prior to make sure it does not get disrupted and allows the pup to stay at ease.

“The fact the our cat Chloe came out of hiding when Samantha, a new person to Chloe, came by to take care of her and feed her says a lot! Samantha kept us up to date as well with pictures during her half hour visits. It helped also that Samantha was able to come by twice to meet Chloe before the weekend when we would be gone. We were very happy with Samantha and look forward to hiring her again in the near future.”

About: I have two dogs of my own that I’ve had since puppy-hood. Ever since I was a kid, my heart would joyously melt in front of any and every four legged friend. I love getting to know other animals, and take care of them as if they were my own. I got my start pet sitting by looking after my friends and neighbors’ dogs and cats on occasion. At present, my longest cat sitting gig was 3 weeks straight in which I stayed with my fur friend for ~6-8 hours a day just to keep her company. I work remotely, so my workstation is mobile. In this was I can make most pet-sitting tasks and hours work— while assuring your pets have company, enrichment, and supervision. (As an aside, I go by both Vera and Amanda and use them interchangably) I work remotely 10am-6pm monday-friday. Ideally, i prefer to visit pets and take care of them anytime before 10am, but my calendar is very flexible. My workstation is mobile, so if desired, I can keep your pet company for extended periods of time during the day. I’m also available all day on the weeknds. I have 2 dogs that I love dearly and walk 2-3 times every single day at routine times. I brush them frequently, I strap on little booties for their paws daily to protect them from the hot pavement, and I play with them to their little hearts content.
