About: I’ve had pets since I was young & have always been a big animal nut. I’ve had all kinds of animals as an adult once I was on my own, including cats, dogs, ferrets, bearded dragons, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, & bunnies! And I’ve loved them all greatly! I’m also a mom to 2 teens so I’m used to messy, fast-paced days & thinking quick on my feet. I volunteer at my town’s animal shelter & I have also been trusted to sit for friends’ pets (which included farm animals). My biggest concern for any animal is their safety & well-being (both physical & mental). I am self-employed & am lucky enough to choose my hours, so I have wide availability. I do have a child that I drive to & from school but I’m open to discussing what your needs are & how to make it all work. I’m ready to give your animal everything they need & am comfortable with most anything, including cleanup, feedings, habitat cleaning, & medications. I believe in respecting your home & privacy — I’m just in it to care for your family member!

“Mandi was incredibly perfect for my family! I booked her for my parents while I was a few states away, and Mandi was awesome at communicating and setting up a visit with my parents! Their cat (was originally my cat, but my other cats would chase her) has a habit of grabbing her tail which leaves some minor scratches and requires some ointment application. Mandi applied it as needed and let us know when that was! She was also able to adjust her visits as my parents ended up leaving later than anticipated, and got back a day early. I would most certainly recommend Mandi for your pet sitting needs!”

I specialize in puppies making sure they stick to a schedule and have the structure they need to grow and learn as well as large dog breeds because that is what we primarily have at our own home. About: I’ve been around animals since the beginning of my life. I grew up with cats & dogs, small & large. I started learning about dog training in 2020, I trained my first service dog in 2022. I’m always working to learn more & continuously improve my knowledge. Body language is a huge factor when it comes to taking care of dogs & making sure they’re comfortable in their environment. I’m great with puppies as well & can help out with basic training. Any questions please feel free to ask! I work from home, so I start my day by taking my dog out to our apartment property’s dog park to use the bathroom, & get play time in, then I bring him in to feed him breakfast. If dog parks make you uncomfortable, I can always take your dog when the parks unoccupied. For meal time I make sure all dogs are separated from each others food. If your dog has trouble eating I always keep toppers on hand or different types of food such as, raw/cooked/air dried/& freeze dried. In the case there’s a medical emergency we have an emergency vet 15 mins down the road. If your dog needs to be crated when left unsupervised or for bedtime we have a crate sized for medium/large breeds. Animals are allowed on furniture & the living room is dog proof with lots of toys & beds, we keep the kitchen & bathroom off limits to prevent anyone from getting into something they’re not supposed to have. My dog has also been trained to be gentle with small animals as well to make sure everyone is comfortable & safe in their environment. If your dog eats too fast I offer slow feeders in my home.

About: Hi! I'm Rachel. I have been obsessed with dogs since I can remember! My first word was "doggy-oggy-oggy!" I have been dog walking and dog sitting for over 10 years and absolutely love helping other pet owners when they need it! I have worked with dogs of every age range, including senior to puppy. Right now I am looking to primarily dog walk to get more steps in and spend more time with pups! I can also do drop ins for those that need it. Thank you! I have a dog myself (he is more of a miniature horse) at 96 pounds! He is my best friend! I walk him twice a day, and would love to help out as many other dog parents who need walks for their dogs as well! About: My name is Sarah and I'm 33 years old. I took a little stint from Rover to focus on my professional career but I'm back and so excited to start petsitting again! Animals have been a huge part of my life ever since I was young. I worked at a vet throughout high school and even started my own dog sitting company in Charleston, SC upon graduation from Virginia Tech - safe to say, I've always been obsessed with animals. I have experience with dogs and cats of all kinds and ages, including puppies, kittens, elderly dogs and cats, dogs those with disabilities, cats that require medication, etc. You name it, I've probably had to handle it in all my years of pet care. I love taking dogs on adventures - the beach, hiking trails, etc. I will treat your fur babies like my own and give them the exercise and TLC they deserve while you are away! I'm currently working part-time, so my schedule is pretty open (including weekends). I'm available for house sitting, drop-in visits, and doggy day care (this includes walks, feeding, TLC, medication administration, etc.). I also offer overnight care, whether that be in your home or mine (whatever you and your pet prefer). This is a service I'm currently offering to private clients but am starting to extend to Rover. In my client's homes, I always let them take the lead with their comfortability and with their pet's normal routine. I want to make sure your pet hardly notices you are gone and that they are 100% comfortable and happy with someone in their environment. Whether that means crating them, walking them at specific times, having designated playtime. Again, I let the client take the lead on instructing me in those cases. When I bring a pet into my home, it's important that they get along with cats, as I have two who are very friendly and don't interact too much with my/client's dogs. Currently my Husky is staying with my mom in Virginia, so he will not be in the apartment. I want my space to feel as "homey" to them as possible, so whatever is needed to make that happen, I accommodate.
