About: Hi! I’m an animal lover who has had a passion for pets for as long as I can remember. My first dog, Rex, a Doberman, taught me just how much love, patience, and responsibility go into caring for an animal. While taking care of pets isn’t always easy, I truly believe every moment is worth it. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I treat each one with the same care and attention I would give my own. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping them company, my goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I currently am in college for nursing, and I also work at a bagel shop so this would be something I would attend after or before attending those priorities! A fenced yard is definitely helpful and in others homes I will respectful there home and do anything needed to make sure there pet is safe.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and grew up with my first dog, a Pit Bull and Chocolate Lab mix, who was with me from birth until I was 16. I helped care for her throughout her life and developed a really special bond with her. I also have a new dog who is mostly Pit Bull, and I take care of him regularly. I’ve also cared for friends dogs and currently walk a Golden Retriever multiple times a week throughout the summer. I’m comfortable with different personalities and love building a genuine connection with every dog I meet. I’m currently a student but have a pretty flexible schedule where I have much free time during the week and full availability on the weekends. I want every pet to feel safe and comfortable while they’re in my care. I follow each owner’s instructions and keep their normal routine as much as possible. “This review is long overdue! I have been using Marissa for about a year now give or take for twice weekly drop ins. I have a senior diabetic pomeranian and a 3 year old highly energetic Border Collie and both of my dogs seem to love Marissa! We always get pictures of our smiling pups and it is clear they have a good time during the visit. Marissa is not only great with our dogs, but she is reliable, trustworthy, and will go the extra mile to accommodate bookings. We never come home to any accidents, and she is always kind enough to bring our packages in front the porch. This holiday season she surprised us with a goodie bag with some things for our dogs AND us! It just goes to show how thoughtful and caring she is. For cats: * Feed and refresh water. * Scoop the litter box. * Give them playtime/attention if they want it. * Check that they are acting normally. * Make sure doors/windows are secure. 🏠 Before I leave * Double-check food and water. * Make sure pets are safely inside. * Clean up any messes. * Follow your instructions for lights, doors, thermostat, etc. * Send a quick update and photo so you know your pet is doing well.

“Heather was absolutely amazing! Our senior cat recently started on insulin shots twice a day and we were nervous about leaving him. We were put at ease as soon as we met Heather. She came twice a day promptly at the times he needed his meds and cared for him as if he was her own pet! We got updates and photos at each visit and it seems like our old kitty fell into a nice, relaxed routine with her😊. She did an amazing job keeping his days as “normal” as possible for him and she went way above and beyond keeping his entire space (and ours) tidy. I wouldn’t hesitate for a minute to use Heather’s services again when we travel. I felt very comfortable having her in my home and with my pet. Thank you!”
