“Lisa came into our home to watch our 9 week old puppy that we’ve only had for 4 days and she was AMAZING! She got right on the floor to connect with our puppy, Ayla, and was so patient throughout the day with Ayla needing to be let out often as we try to potty train her. I instantly felt comfortable with Lisa being in our home and taking care of our busy puppy! Highly recommend!”

“Jennifer did a wonderful job dog and house sitting with our senior dog, Riley. We are grateful she works from home and could be at our house while we were gone. Will definitely use her again.”

Brett was great at communicating before, during and even after our trip. Always very responsive and caring. We felt very comfortable with him staying at our home with Lola. Knowing she was in such good hands allowed us to enjoy our trip. We would fully recommend Brett!!”

About: I grew up taking care of my own dog for 13 years: walking, feeding, bathing and playing. I love dogs and want to help keep your pup happy and healthy! I offer dog walking and drop in visits while you’re gone for the day. I’m willing to work with whatever your pets routine and favors are. I also offer house sitting for longer vacations, looking after your home and pet Looking to help out with your pet during the work day, whether that be feeding, a walk, or just some play time while you’re gone for the day. I can help assist with checking in on pets and house sitting while you’re gone on vacation too! Walking dogs around your neighborhood, playing in a park if available, cleaning up after them to keep the community clean, feeding them and providing clean water as needed. For cats, we can play inside and I can clean their litter box

About: I've been a dog owner for 40 years, and was a foster for a few years for MARS. Although I specialize in German Shepherds, I have taken care of just about every type of dog. My housemate, where I currently live, has 2 rescues - one is a lab/Pitbull mix. The other is a Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix. I also dog sit regularly for my daughter's dog (rescue Pitbull mix) and my son's dog (Belgian Malinois). If I have a special skill I guess it would be that I understand rescues. I'm semi-retired and have a very flexible schedule. I'm in the North Metro but I occasionally drive for Lyft, so I'm familiar with the Twin Cities in general. I'm an early riser so if your dog is as well - that's fine with me! The dogs I've cared for get several walks per day - or ball tosses if there is a fenced in yard. For those dogs who get along with others, we love the dog park. We make sure to go potty before bedtime! My dogs get two meals per day - but if yours get three meals, that's fine too. I've taken care of dogs who need daily pills and those which are in heat. I don't need much when staying at your home other than internet. I bring my own food. I prefer longer stays rather than short ones so I can learn the dog's routine.

About: I grew up with large dogs and have dogsat in other people’s homes for eight years. I am very comfortable with dogs of all breeds, ages, medical needs, and personalities. Dogs give me so much joy, and I would be happy to care for yours! I worked remotely for the University of Minnesota, but was unfortunately laid off due to funding cuts. I currently work on a small farm part-time and dog-sit to make extra income. My hours are very flexible. I am happy to provide any dog and house related care (e.g., getting the mail). I comfortable with a dog sleeping in or out of a crate, feeding any food (e.g., raw food diet), giving medications or performing procedures (I am a certified EMT), and providing exercise (e.g., walking, hiking, fetch, swimming).

“Elizabeth did a great job taking care of our clan. She played with them outside and always kept us updated on how things were going as well as if there were any problems. I highly recommend her and will be happy to have her stay with our pets again.”

“Emma was on time for our meet and greet and on the day she cared for our dog. She listened to and followed all instructions, asked appropriate questions, and took excellent care of our dog at our home. Next time I need a dog-sitter I will contact Emma first.”

“Christine did a fabulous job taking care of our dog! She sent a message and photo each day we were gone. We have a dog who has many fears, particularly concerning storms and loud noises. In addition, we had just lost our older dog whom Freckles looked up to for guidance and support. We were thrilled that Christine was able to help our dog stay calm through a thunderstorm and brainstormed ways to keep her manage the fear. Our dog was still very sad about losing her sister and Christine was very empathetic, keeping her company. We highly recommend her as a dog sitter and would be happy to use her again.”
