I currently live alone in a house 1 bedroom home with a fenced in back yard. I am able to provide dedicated attention and comfortable surroundings for your loved ones. I have room for crates as needed. I like to be active and fun with your loved ones - I'm happy to go for walks, run around in the yard, whatever they enjoy best.

About: I don’t have specific set of skills other than the fact that I am a dog mom. My dogs are my world and my main priority. I have a lot of love to give and I think animals deserve it the most. I’m currently unemployed as I recently left my job as it just wasn’t the right fit any longer. I will make myself available to be with your pet as much as needed and wanted by the client. I’m 44 years old with an older son who is 28. So for people my age who normally have small children I have my 2 dogs and my 2 cats. They are my children My animals are always considered in any and all plans that I may have. They are my top priority and your animal would be no different. I am a nurturer by nature. When I was in need of dog sitter Rover provided me with someone who took care of and loved my dogs just as much as I did. It motivated me to want to be that person for other people. I will love and spoil your animal as if they were my own. Allowing you to leave them knowing they are being well taken care of. I have a fully fenced in yard and I would make any special arrangements as far as feeding, crating etc that would be needed for your animal.

“Paul was awesome. He looked after my dog for 2 1/2 weeks while I was out of the country and I didn’t have to worry for one second. He checked in with me frequently and made sure I knew that OB was getting plenty of exercise. Thanks, Paul.”

About: My grandfather and mother both have an animal science background so I was raised with a knowledge of animals and how special they are from a very early age. Because of this, I care deeply for the well being of your pet and treat them as my own. I think animals reflect the best of human behavior. I believe that animals have an innate power to heal and connect that is awe-inspiring. This ability I witnessed first hand growing up with a golden retriever and a German shepherd, the later becoming a therapy dog and certified pet partner for my family. Lastly, I have taken care of dogs of all ages and breeds from 1 month to 16 years, from 15-130+lbs, and done some by house sitting, walking, and boarding. I love all dogs, but am partial to bigger ones because that it was I grew up with since age 10. I currently work full time so I am available after or before business hours during the weekdays (8am-5pm, Monday-Friday) or anytime on the weekends to walk, visit with or house/dog sit. I currently WFH on Fridays, so my house/dog sitting is limited to Friday - Sunday. I can commute from anywhere in the metro Albany or Saratoga Springs, NY region so dog walking and/or drop-in visits are posible any day, most weeks. I will do my best to make your dog feel like nothing has changed in their own space (your home). On walks and during play visits, I will make sure they are comfortable, constantly watching body language for anxiety, fear, and exhaustion, etc. and will let their behavior dictate the pace, duration, where we go, and when bathroom breaks are needed. I treat walk and play time as their time and I am just there to make sure they have the most enjoyable time possible, while protecting their safety and health.

About: As someone who has lived with and raised dogs my entire life, I understand the care, attention, and love they need. From playful puppies to senior companions, I’ve experienced every stage of a dog’s life and know how to meet their unique needs. I’ve also provided dog-sitting services for friends and family, ensuring their pets are well-cared for and happy while they’re away. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or cuddles, I’m dedicated to giving every dog the same love and care I give my own. I’m currently in college, attending part-time on campus and completing some courses online. I also work three days a week, so my schedule can vary. However, I’m available every night, both on weekdays and weekends. I just ask that you always check with me before booking to ensure I can accommodate your needs and provide the best care for your pet! I care for pets in my client’s home by following their usual routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding them at their regular times, taking them for walks, providing playtime, and giving them plenty of love and attention. I also make sure they feel safe and comfortable in their environment by keeping things familiar. If they have specific needs, like administering medication or following special instructions, I’m happy to accommodate. My goal is to ensure your pet feels cared for and happy while you’re away.

“Caitlynn is one of the most sincere and responsible individuals doing pet care I have ever encountered! We did several pre-trip visits since my trip would be 10 days and out of country; and one of my 2 dogs is a chronic anxiety attached girl! The first few days she got very sick from the changes and not knowing what was happening. Caitlynn worked through all the issues with my veterinarian and her office. When I returned all was in a very positive condition to move forward. The veterinarian's office staff gave Caitlynn the highest praise of anyone they had encountered with someone else's pet! She is amazing and I now consider her a friend and family member to us! Sincerely...Sharon”

My goal is to ensure the health, happiness, and safety of every animal I encounter, treating them with the same love and care as if they were my own. With years of personal experience, including caring for a senior dog who lived a full 15 years and now rests peacefully, as well as raising my adventurous 4-year-old cat and my energetic 2-year-old dog, I bring dedication and compassion to animal care. Whether providing hands-on assistance or finding homes for animals in need, I am always ready to go above and beyond to keep them out of harm’s way and surrounded by love. I am currently employed at a veterinary clinic, where I dedicate my time and expertise to caring for animals. If you’re interested in my services, please feel free to share your needs, and I will do my best to accommodate them based on my schedule and proximity to your location. Having grown up around animals, I have developed a deep passion for their care and well-being. While I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and your pet, please note that my availability may be limited due to my work commitments. Thank you for your understanding, and I’m excited to provide the best care possible for your furry companion! I have a medium sized outdoor fenced in area that also is connected to an indoor area to get out of the heat. I also have a dog tie out that goes from the house down our hill.

About: I will take care of your pet like it's my own. I will give plenty of care with exercise, discipline and affection. I have some past experience working as a vet assistant and enjoy going for walks and helping others including dogs and getting their needs met too. I started dog walking and pet sitting when I had children. Now that they are a bit older, I am working more full time, but still would like to help care for animals when needed and fits in a busy mom schedule! I have some flexibility but look forward to routine walks for those that work long days and can't be there for their beloved pets and care enough to provide a pet sitter to help give their pets what they need to have a happy life too! I'm reliable, trustworthy, and respectful of your home. I’m currently working part time during the day and school year, so I can provide afternoon, evening, or weekend services to walk dogs or take care of cats or other pets in your home. I have a fenced yard, but I’m currently not able to have dogs come stay at my home, but willing to come to your home where they are most comfortable and can do several visits or an overnight if necessary.

About: Hi! My name’s Bridgett, and I’m currently growing my home-based dog daycare and boarding services here on Rover. I’m also available for drop-in visits depending on location. I live with my fiancé, our two lovable Labradors, and we’re lucky to have a large fenced-in yard perfect for safe playtime and exercise. I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs, my family always had three at a time, and I’ve been caring for friends’, family’s, and clients’ pets for as long as I can remember. I pride myself on treating every pet like my own, with plenty of love, attention, and play. Whether it’s boarding, daycare, or checking in on your furry family member, I’ll make sure they’re happy, safe, and cared for like family! For drop-in visits, I’m available before 8:00 AM and after 5:45 PM on weekdays, with more flexibility on weekends. For boarding/daycare, pups enjoy outdoor playtime in our large fenced yard until about 8:20 AM. Then they relax inside until my fiancé gets home around 5:00 PM. Upon special request, I can arrange for my sister to stop by mid-day for a potty break and some attention. I’m in the process of transitioning to being home full-time, and once that happens, I’ll be able to provide 24/7 care, I’ll update my profile as soon as that change happens! Whether in my home or yours, I make sure every pet is well-fed, comfortable, and cared for with plenty of love and attention. Their safety is always my top priority, I keep a close eye on them, provide a secure environment, and follow any routines or instructions you give. “Lauren is a kind and loving pet sitter. She is provided exercise, extra love, hugs, and belly scratches for our two dogs (65 lb & 110 lb). Lauren also house sat for us. She respected our rules and home and didn't leave a single dish in the sink or food on the counter when we arrived home. She even called to ask if she had time to give the dogs one more walk before we came home so they would be a little calmer when we arrived. We highly recommend Lauren as a pet and/or house sitter.”

Seth C.
“Seth is one of the best dog sitters I’ve ever come across, and I’m not just saying that because I’m his girlfriend! I’ve seen firsthand how much he genuinely loves and cares for animals. He’s dog-sat for my Teacup Yorkie multiple times, and each time, he goes above and beyond to ensure she’s comfortable and well-cared for. My dog has special dietary needs and requires extra attention, and Seth always makes sure she gets the right food, along with all the care and affection she needs. What really stands out about Seth is his ability to understand the unique needs of different dogs. He’s not just a sitter; he’s a true caregiver. He treats every dog with the utmost kindness, respect, and discipline, as if they were his own. I’ve even gone dog-sitting with him for some of his family members, and I witnessed firsthand how well he took care of their dog, Mr. Charley, during a weekend stay. Seth was incredibly attentive to Charley’s needs and made sure he was always comfortable and happy. I always feel completely at ease leaving my dog in his care, knowing she will be loved and well-attended to. Seth is reliable, responsible, and trustworthy – I can't recommend him enough!”

“I met Abby when she found my dog running loose on the road after a break out from our yard! We weren't even at home but thought that our greyhound was safe within our fenced yard. Abby kindly walked her home called us and got her safely put in the house. Our dog, Allie, absolutely loves Abby, she recently stayed at Abby's house for several days while we were away and she was well taken care of and happy to be there. When you meet Abby you will find that she is great with animals, kind and responsible. I highly recommend her as a sitter and would never hesitate to leave my dog with her, I know she will take good care of Allie, and I feel so much better knowing that my dog is in a loving home rather than a kennel!”
