I don’t have any experience poking pets with needles for medicine, but I can do pills and topical sprays and other things like that!

About: With over 18 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and even guinea pigs, animals have always been the center of my life. I am a certified dog trainer through ABC (Animal Behavior College), where I completed coursework and hands-on mentorship training. My first Jack Russell, full of energy and determination, inspired me to become a trainer and deepened my passion for understanding animal behavior. Today, I share my home with a younger, playful pack, including another Jack Russell, and I’ve learned the importance of balancing order, safety, and discipline with letting dogs simply enjoy being dogs. I use equipment designed for safety — such as secure belt leashes — to make sure dogs are comfortable and protected on walks. My senior dog, who recently passed after nearly 17 years by my side, required 24/7 care during her final year. That experience taught me patience, vigilance, and the deep responsibility of caring for animals at every stage of life. Our home is designed with pets in mind — safe, welcoming, and filled with love. With a friendly resident pack, dogs here need to enjoy the company of other dogs to feel at home. Small dogs are my specialty, but I welcome pups of all kinds and treat every animal as if they were my own. The only challenge you might face? Your dog may not want to go home. My partner and I both work from home, so we’re with our dogs throughout the day. We balance our time between working indoors and enjoying the outdoors when the weather is nice, with walks and dog park visits built into our mornings and evenings. We also enjoy picnics, hikes, and other activities that include our pets, since they’re truly part of our everyday life. None of our animals are ever crated — they’re free to be with us and part of our routine at all times. We have three secure, fenced yard areas designed for different activities. One area is set aside for bathroom breaks, where pets can go on their own. The other two yards are used for supervised playtime. Inside, our dogs have access to two levels of the home. The lower level is the cat zone, and the cats also enjoy access to one of the fenced yards. All pets have free range within their spaces and spend the day with me or my partner, so they are always supervised and cared for. We don’t crate any of our own pets — they are all very friendly and used to being around both cats and dogs. I’m a very hands-on, “helicopter” type fur mom — safety, love, and care are always my top priorities. I make sure pets are mentally stimulated, and I’m always checking for ticks or any health concerns. I shared my life with two beloved dogs for nearly 17 and 15 years, and losing them a few years ago was heartbreaking. They traveled everywhere with me and showed me the depth of the bond we share with animals. Caring for pets is my greatest passion, and I feel honored every day to be in their company. I will do whatever is required to keep your animals happy and cared for as if they were my own. About: I have been around and caring for animals my entire life and have experience with a wide variety of pets and their individual needs. I’ve had many different types of animals of my own, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, and more, and I’ve also regularly cared for pets belonging to friends, family, neighbors, and multiple families. I’ve cared for households with anywhere from one to three pets at a time and am comfortable following specific feeding schedules, exercise routines, medications or special instructions, and each pet’s individual personality and needs. I’m very attentive and will follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, potty breaks, medications, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. Since my schedule is so open, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention rather than rushing through a visit. I’m also happy to spend extra time with them if they need companionship, exercise, or reassurance. I treat every pet and every home with the same care and respect I would want for my own.

About: I have always loved dogs. I am the one my friends always relied on to watch their dog when they went away. I can’t inagine a world without dogs. I have a huge english black lab and a small terrier. I get along with all dogs big amd small. I have references. I am reliable and experienced. After a recent career change, I find myself with a far more flexible work schedule! I am currently working in childcare and homecare for one family here in CT. I do not have children of my own, so I do not need to build school drop offs/pick ups into my petsitting schedule. I live in New London but am able to commute! I have reliable transportation of my own, so getting to my destination is no issue whatsoever. I am currently working on obtaining my PhD online during the evenings, so I am available to spend infinite cuddle time in the evenings! Overall I am extremely flexible. Boarding at my home is not an option at this time as I have strict landlords. I have pet/farmsat in various settings. Some owners have had fenced yards and some have lived in cities where walks are mandatory for potty breaks. I am able to care for animals that need medication administered, as well as multiple visits a day due to my flexible schedule. I have recent puppy 'training' experience as I just hit the 6 month mark with my own pup and will gladly keep your pup well trained too! I work from home full time so my schedule is beyond flexible! I have my own vehicle with ample space for pets if transport is needed. I am often available last minute - because I know things pop up! I have a large fenced in yard that my own pup plays in away from any busy street, well as separate rooms and crates available if needed.

About: I've taken care of dogs my entire life. I started off with a resuce pitty/lab when I was one and we grew up together. Since then, I've never not had a 4 legged freind in my life. I have experience with cats, dogs, reptiles, and fish; all with different personalitys. I am very well versed in senoir pets and energetic puppys! I am very understanding of the diffent needs and bounderies required by different pets! I am currently working receiving treatment Mon-Thurs form 9-12 and go to class Tues and Thurs from 6-9:30, beyond that I am typically completely free and am available in between those times. My dog is't very freindly with other animals, so I wouldn't be able to take any pets into my own home, but I can certantly follow all instructions given in your home. I have experience crating dogs and maintaining a schedule.
