Mary Jo accommodated our schedule well for drop off and pickup, even having Stevie ready for pickup so we could get back on the road quickly. Mary Jo welcomed us into her home and let us see that Stevie was getting settled in well. We could tell right away that her son is a true dog lover and we enjoyed watching him get to know Stevie. When we came to pick Stevie up she was so happy and tired that she could barely keep her eyes open in the car. We could tell she had a great day with Mary Jo and her family!”

About: We love animals! Energetic young humans and 7 year old (neutered male) pug will play with your dog until we collapse! We have a large unfenced yard with lots of sniffing and exploring space. The yard is regularly treated by Tick Ranger (organic and pet-safe tick spraying). Nobody goes out unleashed ever. Our space for overnight is a large room- crated or uncrated, or are welcome to sleep in the human bed of their choice. Dogs are welcome throughout the first floor during the day. Your dog will feel completely at home at my house or yours! We walk, play and hug. Some Grooming services available- just ask. Unfortunately we can not take pit bulls, pit bull mixes, or border terriers. I am also a caring and experienced cat owner/ caretaker! We have 3 cats of our own (our 17 year old angel Maddy went to the Heaviside Layer June 2021💙) and will care for your cat in your home or ours. Dependable loving care always! And if that wasn’t enough I am also very comfortable feeding/ handling and caring for small reptiles including snakes. We have had our Herman’s tortoise Daisy Arujo for 4 years and love her to death! Available most days- flexible schedule and I keep my Rover calendar updated. About me: 43 year old single mom, works occasionally as a stage manager and at a plant nursery close to my home. We hope to care for your furry family soon! *Please note I do have 2 kids (ages 10 and 6). Both kids are very aware and cautious in how to approach new animals but if your dog is not 100% comfortable with kids we are not the sitters for you. Thank you! I build my schedule around my clients. We like to keep a predictable routine for our guests. I am home most of the day most days! We have a partially fenced yard and all guests stay leashed and well supervised while out! Our pug Winston loves to play and snuggle with our guests. My other part- time jobs are seasonal so I am home and available most days November through May. When my seasonal jobs are active I still am able to take 2-3 clients visits a day around them! I am very good with animals and have very very rarely met one that wasn’t interested in being my friend. All of my repeat clients are always very happy to see me! 🥰 I am always cautious and respectful of your pets’ space and yours and always will leave your house cleaner than I found it! I go above and beyond to make sure your pets’ routine is disturbed as little as possible while you are gone and I make sure they are given extra affection (if they want it!) I will not hesitate to obtain emergency care (with your permission) if your pet needs it.

About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life growing up, specifically chocolate labs and a yellow lab, as well as three cats (previously). Since I have grown up with pets, specifically from rescue organizations and animal shelters, I have worked thoroughly with them to train and help them adapt to living with me in my home, as well as help them feel part of my family. I’m a college student currently home for the summer, so I’m available most days - often all day, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and nights. Pet care fits seamlessly into my flexible routine, and I’m happy to accommodate different schedules. I’ve had pets my entire life, three cats and four dogs, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I currently live with two chocolate labs, and one of them is super high energy, so I’m used to keeping dogs active with walks, playtime, and positive structure. I’ve also spent years volunteering at local animal shelters with both cats and dogs, which has given me experience with all kinds of personalities and needs. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, I’ll always make sure they feel safe, loved, and at ease.

“Very happy and relieved! I had to book last-minute for my pup when a neighbor had to cancel, and Adriana & Christopher were able to take Lucy at their house for the day. I worry about her because Lucy is a bit of an anxious mess when somewhere new (especially when I’m not around), and she was shaking like a leaf when I left. I felt terrible! But she was very interactive and played with their dog so much that she passed out and slept for hours when we got home! So, so happy and delighted with this experience for my little Lucy!”

About: Since childhood, dogs have been an integral part of my life, starting with two Pomeranians, followed by an energetic Shiba Inu named Akira, and a loving lab mix German Shepherd named Stella. Over the years, I've gained extensive experience caring for these pets—whether through cuddling, playing, feeding, walks, or adventures. I've also spent time teaching them tricks and handling their grooming needs. Earlier this year, I began offering overnight and day sitting services, along with walks, for friends on Rover, and later extended my services to family and other referrals. I focus on building strong bonds and trust with the animals I care for, tailoring our time together to ensure it's both enjoyable and enriching. I've worked with dogs ranging from 4-month-old puppies to older dogs aged 13-14, and have experience with both a kitten and an adult cat. My approach is patient, compassionate, and dedicated to meeting the unique needs of every animal I care for. I'm a makeup artist who works both on location and from home. With a flexible schedule, I currently have plenty of free time to spend with your dog! **Dog Walking**: I tailor each walk to the dog’s individual energy level, adjusting the pace and distance to ensure they get the right amount of exercise. I also provide opportunities for exploration while keeping safety in mind, and I’m attentive to any health considerations or special preferences they may have. **Overnight Sitting**: When staying in a client’s home, I prioritize the pet’s comfort and security by sticking to their regular routine as much as possible. This includes consistent feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and providing companionship to ease any anxiety, particularly during the night. In everything I do, my primary goal is to build trust with each pet, providing them with a safe, loving environment where they feel cared for and valued—whether I’m working in my own home or in a client’s.

About: I'm a lifelong animal lover and proud pet parent to four adorable cats and two kind-hearted, animal-loving children. Growing up, my home was always filled with furry, feathered, and scaly friends — from my loyal German Shepherd to curious hamsters, chirpy parakeets, gentle iguanas, and, of course, lots of sweet kitties. With a lifetime of hands-on experience and a deep respect for all creatures, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets like family. Whether it's a weekend getaway or a long vacation, you can relax knowing your pets are in loving, experienced hands. I am a teacher, and will be home for the summer beginning mid June and going through late August. My availability this summer will be quite open. I am a dedicated, special education teacher, who would love nothing more than to take care of your pet’s needs in the evenings and on the weekends during the school year. During the summer, I am available mornings, afternoons, and evenings to care for your fur babies. We currently have four indoor only cats, who are comfortable with respectful dogs.
