Laura and her family turned out to be the perfect people and place. With a beautiful, safe home out in the country, a deck and fenced in yard where he could play, a open-plan house where he was visible at all times, Laura’s place was perfect. And the bonus: three little girls who adored him and lavished attention upon him, much to his delight. Laura, herself, was wonderful, caring, professional, delightful. She took him on long walks which he loved, texted me photos and updates on this progress during the stay, saw to his every need and even made some recommendations to me as to feeding bowls which might slow his eating down (he snarfs up his food in seconds!). I was afraid he wouldn’t want to come home. But I think he knows he can go back and stay in this home away from home which he will definitely be doing the next time I need to go away without him. I can’t tell you the peace of mind that all this brought me, knowing that he was happy and being well-cared-for and loved.”

About: I’ve been a pet and animal owner my entire life. We have 3 young kids who love to play and one energetic 4 year old dog who also loves to play, so your pet would get a lot of play time at this house! I have lots of availability this summer, so reach out to me for specifics. Once fall hits and I’m back at school, I’ll be available for weekends. We have one friendly dog to keep yours company. Our yard is not fenced in, but we take frequent walks throughout the day. Our dog sleeps upstairs in the bedroom with us, but we do have a crate available if needed.

“This was my first time using Rover.com. I had picked up my German shepherd, Evie, from a shelter in North Carolina last November. Based on her recorded condition when brought in as a stray 5 weeks before she had been through a rough period. She has fully recovered now and is in good health. My wife and I wanted to find someone to board her with where she would be happy when we're away. We identified a few possibilities at the Rover website and following a positive meet and greet with Nadjeska last week, had Evie spend the day with her yesterday. It went very well. Nadjeska sent us several texts with photos during the day updating us on Evie's stay. About: I've had pets since a young age from lizards, cats, dogs, hamsters, fish, turtles, guinea pigs and birds. I have a small dog of my own so I know I can give your pets lots the love and attention too whether they have fur, scales, or feathers! About: I have been taking care of pets since I was born with my first Golden Retriever “Missy”. My family has had a wide variety of animals from dogs and cats, to hamsters and bunnies, all the way to horses.
