About: I have been taking care of my neighbors, family, friends, and my own dog/pets for 10 years including walks, feeding, watching, and helping train. I have experience with puppies and older dogs as well as injured or sick dogs. I am currently in a local college for health care. I am free all day Saturday-Monday and after 3 Tuesday-Friday. I have transportation and can drive a reasonable distance. I would follow any rules you have set for your dog (ex. food allowed, walking requirements, type of leash/collar for walks, and if they need to be crated or not) I would be able and willing to provide any medical care needed as long as I am shown how to correctly.

About: I had a deaf dog for two years in college and have experience caring for my family's dogs, including walking, bathing, and feeding. I have cat/house sat for weekends and dog sat for weeks at a time with twice-daily visits. I work from home 50% of the time (usually Wednesdays, Fridays, and every other Monday) and can stop by for pet walks, visits, and care while I’m home. I am around most weekends. About: I got my first dog at 13 and loved helping my mom take care of him. Growing up, we had a "zoo" in our house with a dog, two birds, a bearded dragon, and a decent-size fish tank. Animals have had a huge impact on my life since I was a child. I am currently not in school, but I plan to go back soon, so I consider this my full-time job. I update my schedule every 1-2 days to ensure that it is always up to date so that you can see my availability. About: I’ve always had pets growing up. In my teens and 20’s I worked as kennel assistants for multiple vets throughout the US as well as a Great Dane breeder. Through those jobs word of mouth happened and pet sitting just happened naturally. I truly love all animals and treat them as family in your absence. We have 2 fluffy kitties who loves snuggles and 1 older kitty who prefers to be seen and not touched 🤣. My two children (12 & 8) have been raised with the knowledge of pet ownership and are proving to be wonderful pet owners as well. I’m retired from the federal government and am looking to fill my free time with helping others with a need I feel is hard to come by. My yard is fenced in completely. We have a doggie door for easy use for anyone staying the night. If you have a kitty who needs overnight care in my home, I’d keep them separate in an extra bedroom during the night but put the doggie door down during the day so they could roam and explore (and get plenty of snuggles)

I grew up caring for the family cat, dog sitting for friends and family, and working for the Prospect Park Zoo in NYC. As an adult I've volunteered for multiple animal shelters, and now care for my own baby Tortoise. As someone with a pet myself, I know how important it is that your sitter adores and respects your animals' needs. I prioritize your animal's health, safety, and happiness! I am a graduate student, giving me a pretty flexible schedule! I am typically completely free Thursday through Sunday. Drop off visits are possible Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, especially in the mornings or later at night. Making sure pets get the attention they need is a top priority for me. Being a student, writer, and researcher, I work mostly at home. This allows me to spend additional time hanging out with those pets that enjoy some human company. I also love hiking, walking, and spending time outdoors. So if your pup needs to get some energy out in the woods, I'll be more than happy to be their guide! I can house small pets for a night or two - I live in a ~700 square foot apartment with a balcony and ample access to the outdoors. But someone cannot always be home, so cats and independent small dogs are preferred.
