“Samantha and her partner were absolutely amazing. They are the best sitters I have met by far. I 10000/10 recommend. Samantha updated me throughout my dog's stay. I will definitely rebook.”

“It is always so comforting to know that Bailey is in good hands when we go visit our family. She keeps us informed and sends pictures. This is the fourth time we have used Brigid and Bailey seems to feel just as comfortable there as he does at home. Thank you Bridgit!”

“Kimberly was so kind to take Toby my 19-lb Havenese dog very last minute! I have a bad wrist fracture and was not able to take care of him properly. She took such great care of him with only hours’ notice. I will definitely use her services again!”

“Chelsea and Christopher are incredible people- they made Dolly feel at home and gave her excellent care. You can tell they both are experienced and passionate about animals and are able to manage multiple dogs flawlessly”

“Lori was wonderful and so welcoming! Beau had a great stay with Lori and her pup, Rees :-). We received updates/photos while we were away and you could tell she treated Beau as one of her own. She even gave him a bath when he got muddy outside! Thanks again, Lori and Rees, for welcoming Beau!”

“Our 2-year-old Doberman JoJo stayed with Brad and Mery for ten days while we made a trip abroad. What a lovely home and what caring and conscientious people! We received lots of photos and short messages during the trip. There is no drama in this calm 5-star home. JoJo adapted quickly and became simply one of their family members. There is a fenced backyard where JoJo was able to play without a leash. Highly recommended.”

“Nat and her husband were so great! They agreed to watch Auri kind of last-minute when my other plans fell through. They sent me cute photos and videos and perfectly detailed updates. Auri looked like she had a really great time. I would definitely send my pup to them again!”

“We are so fortunate to have met Kyle. It is clear how much she loves dogs and goes to great lengths to be sure that they are comfortable. She sends lots of updates, pictures and videos, so the parents are put at ease as well. Our anxious pup was immediately at home, and came back happy and tired from all of the play. Thank you to our new friend Kyle for spoiling our fur baby!”
“Very professional! Christopher did a great job with my dog and sent lots of pictures. I will absolutely be a returning customer and I enthusiastically recommend him.”

“We don’t let anyone else watch our French bulldog. David takes her for plenty of walks, gives her lots of attention, and makes sure she gets her medication. She’s very happy with David, as are we!”

“Gillian made us feel so comfortable after the meet and great! She treated our puppy like one of her own and we really enjoyed the picture updates showing us that Loki was having a blast!”

About: With years of devoted pet care, puppy training, senior support, rescue volunteering, fostering, and animal‑care schooling, I bring heartfelt, family‑level love and patient, intuitive attention to every dog I care for. Pet care is woven into my daily rhythm — from morning check‑ins to evening walks, caring for our three rescues in my wide, fenced‑in backyard is my daily cup of sunshine! Their love fuels my purpose and inspires me to help other pet parents care for their furbabies while they handle life’s responsibilities. My home was chosen with dogs in mind. Our wide, fenced‑in backyard offers shade, space, and freedom — originally built for our first rescue who needed safety, comfort, and room to explore. With no stairs inside, senior pups move easily and confidently. Every room is pet‑friendly, and dogs are welcome on furniture to relax as part of the family. Crates are available only if your dog feels safe choosing one — never forced. Our three rescues freely roam indoors and outside, receiving gentle, attentive care, and your furbaby will be treated with the same love, respect, and family‑level comfort. Pet care is woven entirely into my daily and weekly rhythm! Caring for my three resident rescues is my primary passion and my full-time daily focus.Because this is my dedicated lifestyle, I provide a highly structured and dependable environment for your furbaby. Daycare operates Monday through Friday with a strict drop-off window between 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM, aligning perfectly with my morning routine. Our weekend boarding begins on Friday evenings as daycare wraps up and runs through Monday morning. This predictable schedule ensures that transitions are always calm, organized, and stress-free for the dogs. To ensure total peace of mind, I treat your dog like a true member of my own family. I enforce strict safety boundaries: I only accept small-to-medium dogs and strictly limit care to a maximum of 3 guest dogs at any time. My home features a secure, attached garage breezeway that serves as a double-gated transition zone, ensuring no dog can ever bolt near the street during drop-offs.Inside, my home is a staircase-free, pet-friendly environment where dogs are welcome to lounge on the furniture, beds, or right in my lap. Crates are entirely optional and only used if a dog seeks one out for feeling safe and secure. Our wide, securely fenced chain-link backyard is a true outdoor paradise built for comfort, safety, and freedom to experience zoomies! A custom area with a patio cover which provides adequate shade and has a dedicated cooling station, cooling mats, and a small dog pool with a water hose for fun, safe summer splashing.(Note on Profile History: If you scroll down, you will see two negative reviews from 7 years ago regarding scheduling issues. At that time, I lacked the firm boundaries I have today. I experienced burnout, took a long hiatus, and completely rebuilt my life and business. Today, I operate with strict capacity limits and automated schedule rules to ensure a flawless, ultra-safe care environment.)
“We left our 3 year old (somewhat anxious) dog for the first time with Anna. We got lots of happy photos of him, which put our mind at ease. And she was very quick to reply to any of our messages. We would 100% recommend and we will definitely book with her again.”

“Tiffany was wonderful! She fit us in last minute with no problem! She sent a ton of pictures and videos letting us know how our Ruby was doing! She was great! Absolutely recommend and will use her again!”

About: I’m a certified dog trainer with 30 years of experience and have helped thousands of dogs—from puppies to seniors. Your dog will never go home with worse manners after staying with me! Every pup gets one-on-one attention, enrichment, and plenty of daily playtime. I’m home the majority of the week, which means your dog gets lots of company, cuddles, and care! I’m happy to board your sweet pup anytime you need me. I’ve got a fully fenced yard and a goofy young playmate who loves making new dog friends! Your pup will enjoy tons of zoomies, sniffing, and social fun. At night, everyone snoozes safely in their crates—but don’t worry, I’m always on “midnight potty duty” for puppies and seniors who need a quick outing!
“Kristine & Robert were great with our Gus! They took the time to meet and make sure he would be comfortable with their dog in advance. I truly left him and was so comfortable and trusted them completely. We received regular updates which made it even better. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to board their pet!”

“This was my first week away from my dogs. I was nervous and at first I was unsure of how to even start, find a sitter, and then make sure my dogs were okay with that person and their own dogs. But then I found Marisa and she made me feel so much better. We did a meet and greet, and while I was on my trip she kept in touch and sent photos. The process was painless, she communicated often, and my dogs were happy and healthy when I picked them up. I would 100% use Rover and Marisa again. She takes the anxiety out of travel and leaving your pups.”

“Alyson was wonderful! She was very patient with my dogs, even when they got nervous and peed on her floor. They quickly warmed up to her and her dog, and from the photos she sent, it was obvious they were having a great time. I will definitely rebook with Alyson.”

“Teddy stayed with Pamela while we were on vacation, she sent us photos and updates about teddies stay. We were very pleased and thank ful for the way Pamela took care of teddy. This is the first time for teddy to stay with anyone except a family member. When we picked teddy up, he was very happy and content. Thank you Pamela, I hope we will be able to have teddy stay with you next time we go on vacation..”

“Sunny always has a great time with Christopher and his wife. They treat him so well and they are both so accommodating if we need to change the time for drop-off/pickup. We couldn’t be more appreciative of them!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Guilderland
This was our second time booking with Alexa, and once again she was fantastic. She took great care of our dog, kept us updated, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. It’s such a relief knowing we have someone we can trust. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again!

Samantha and her partner Zachary took fabulous care of our two dogs for three days. They are both high energy young dogs, one 7 months and one 13 months old and we were worried that they were going to be a problem. They love each other, romping like crazy with each other indoors and out and Samantha and Zach had no problem dealing with them. When we went to pick them up, it was obvious that both dogs really liked their caregivers. What more can one hope for in someone taking care of their dogs? We will be using them again when we are back in the Albany area. Thank you, Samantha and Zachary! Clifford and Ann Wagner

Korinne absolutely couldn’t have been a better caretaker for my pup. She stayed in close contact with me throughout my trip and sent plenty of pics and videos so I could be sure that my doggie was having an amazing time over there (probably even more fun than she has at home!). Korinne has a really comfortable space with a luxurious backyard and I honestly can’t recommend her highly enough!

Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
