About: I've had cats of my own, and/or been volunteering with cats, for most of my life - including cats of all ages from kittens to seniors, and cats with special needs. Currently I have one cat of my own (Athena, 12 years old). I'm reliable and responsible, and while I'm new to pet-sitting on Rover, many of my friends have relied on me to take care of their pets while they're out of town. I love spending time with pets, so I figured why not do it for some extra cash during my free time? I'm in the San Carlos area, but willing to drive elsewhere in the San Diego area. (Note: Most of my pet care experience has been with cats, but definitely willing to take care of dogs and other pets too!) I'm available most evenings and weekends. I also work remotely, so I can arrange to be at your place with your pet(s) during the day if needed. I will ensure your pet is safe and well cared for. Pets, just like people, have their own personalities when it comes to interacting and socializing - I will also get to know your pet and provide as much, or as little, in the way of playing and socializing as they would like.

“Valeria was great! She really tuckered my 13 week old puppy out and got her to sleep nicely in her crate. She communicated well before the drop-in visit about how to get in and my expectations.”

“Wonderful sitting experience with Carly! She spent extra time with my kitties and left my house spotless. Both cats were in a good mood and I could tell they were well cared for. Will definitely be using Carly again to sit for Waffles and Teddy.”

About: Owning my own dog, I took care and played with it, frequently. I took my dog out 6-9 times a day to pee with a nannie pack, including water bottle and poop bag. I feed my pets in the morning and the afternoon. I play with them once and sometimes twice a day. I take them out for walk a minimum of four times a day. Once a week I wash them. About two times a week I brush them. Once a month I clip their nails. I respect the pet owners rules. I make sure that the pets eat, drink and pee/poop according to the owners schedules. I put the pets on leash’s prior taking them out for walks.

About: When I was 15 my first job was at a pet store. We had reptiles, small animals (rats, hamsters, chinchillas, etc) fish and birds. I have had more pets than your average person- and currently have 4 cats and 3 dogs! I’m knowledgeable on basic first aid, and will treat your pet as if they were my own! Will walk, play, pick up after, cuddle, pet, feed and generally and genuinely care for them! I am available early morning, evenings, and weekends, I do work but have a semi flexible schedule. I DO have a difficult time with mid-day scheduling, so if your pet needs mid day care I may not be the best for your job! I will treat your home as my own; and keep it clean and orderly. Water spills? I got that! Food kibbles rolling around? No problem. Poop?! Well, no one enjoys that but I won’t leave it (if I find it!) for you to pick up.

“Olivia took great care of our cat! She was thorough with a pre-visit. She was kind and asked questions to make sure she knew exactly what to do. While we were traveling, she sent awesome updates and photos. We came back to a happy cat. We would definitely book her again!”

I'm also comfortable with all dogs, cats, puppies, seniors, and special-needs pets! I’m currently working fulltime but I'd love to be able to do this on my free time so my schedule amysb change every week but I'm typically free in the mornings! :) I just wants to make sure I'm giving your pet the best care and love that I can for the visit I take for each of them! Make sure to take them on walks and play with them! I also love taking pictures of animals so ill always make sure to check up and give updates!

About: I confidently babysit and walk senior dogs, puppies and dogs with special needs and will give my full attention to your pets' needs as if they were my own, I'm available in the morning, afternoon and evening. I just retired and am available most of the day. I do run errands occasionally, but I"m home most of the time. If you give me a crate your dog uses, it'll provide familiarity to your dog. Your dog will feel cared for in my home. I provide plenty of times throughout the entire day to take your dog out for a walk and to relieve themself and I provide plenty of hugs and positive nourishment.
